The location is fantastic! You can easily walk to the Petronas Towers, and there's a direct skybridge to KLCC mall, so you don't have to worry about the weather. This time I booked a club room, which gives you all-day access to the 32nd-floor lounge with complimentary food and drinks – super convenient, and you get a great view of the Petronas Towers from the window. The room had a sofa, and when I booked, I selected two adults and one child. I asked the front desk to make up the sofa bed, and they didn't charge extra, nor did they charge for my child's breakfast. Overall, a very satisfying stay!

The room design is super convenient for cross-border travelers, especially since most will have a lot of luggage. The bed is really spacious, and the bottled water is high-end. The direct view of the Petronas Towers from the hotel is absolutely stunning, and they're usually lit up until midnight. In the mornings, you can go for a run in KLCC Park downstairs, and it's just a 15-minute walk to Pavilion. It's a great choice for families traveling with kids.

The room's location is good. It advertised Chinese-speaking staff, but I didn't encounter any and had to communicate in English. To the left of the hotel, there's an electric buggy service that goes between the hotel and KLCC. The room was cleaned daily. Hotel breakfast was mediocre, but the bed in the room was very comfortable.

While the decor and facilities might not be as luxurious as some other hotels, the large bed, impeccable cleanliness, excellent service, and prime location definitely make it worthy of a five-star rating. My child slept on the sofa bed, and the staff thoughtfully made it up with sheets. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day. The hotel's location is also fantastic; from the executive lounge, you get a full view of the Twin Towers, and KLCC Park is right outside, perfect for a relaxing morning stroll. This price point truly offers incredible value for money. The only downside is that the swimming pool turns into a bar at night.

The hotel's location is superb, with the tower-view rooms directly facing the KLCC. Both the Petronas Twin Towers and Pavilion are within walking distance. It's clean and hygienic, the restaurant food is delicious, and the rooftop infinity pool bar is also incredibly photogenic.

Service was excellent... Staff very friendly and helpful ... especially Mr. Oliver at Traders Lounge Level 32. Apart from great scenic view with Iconic Twin Towers, Mr Oliver made our visit more welcoming. He greets all guests with explanation of "where to visit" places and made good recommendations of food choice. He made the foreign tourist to understand the KL better & also assist them if they have difficulties using Traders Hotel amenities. Superb & well done job Mr. Oliver... we will stay Traders Hotel again...

Amazing place! Only booked for the view of the Petronas towers and it was so worth it. Only downside is that it took 40 minutes for the bellboy to bring our luggage? We had to call twice! Asides that, everything else was great. Sky bar was good too, the food was very tasty

Excellent location for business travellers, as it's next to Convention Centre. Great views from my room overlooking a garden and the twin towers. It belongs to the Shangrila group, which means the hotel interior is a bit aged. Overall, a good stay.

Can be a bit hit and miss, however if you pick the right night, you will not be disappointed.

Avoid this overrated and below standard restaurant if you don't want to end up with food poisoning.
My son had food poisoning while we were staying at the Hotel and we avoided all of their lukewarm cooked food on offer after the second day eating at Gabo Chit Chit Restaurant buffet.
Never enough food tongs to handle the food with,wander whether some guests used their bare hands.Some of the food were not even covered,I saw some guests were sneezing while handling the food( without even covering their mouths)
The cutlery were a bit grubby and why so skimpy with the paper serviettes?The food offered at the buffet were nothing to brag about!
Management need to review the buffet menu, after all, they were not only serving the locals,most food on offer were not ideal for breakfast if you were not used to that kind of diet,once or twice,maybe,every morning?Recipe for disaster! The trouble with cooked breakfast, is, you have to maintain a certain temperature throughout,otherwise, bacteria will start to breed,and strict hygiene has to be monitored.
The restaurant reflects the the standard of a Traders Hotel in general really,one star establishment.

Gobo chit chat is the worse food experience I ever had! Don't waste your time and money here to eat. You will seriously regret. Not much varieties. Food seriously taste horrible. Almost most of the food I tried is salty. The desert is horrible too. I would never ever come back again! Price is too costly for the food provided!

The bar has a great overview of KLCC the park and all surrounding buildings. It is quite a spot to be if you want to celebrate. Always make sure you don't want to jump into the pool. The temptation is there but it's forbidden and with all the hassle afterwards it could ruin the whole night. The staff is fast and the drinks are good but expensive.

Website looks much nicer and larger than real thing. We went on a Wednesday, managed to get a table which was a surprise because it was quite busy. You order your drinks with the person at the till and out there, then collect at the bar. Cocktails are not good. Even JD & coke tastes bad. White wine was fine. It was really loud with the DJ. Night club vibe. Unless you’re out on the pull I’d avoid it. View of the twin towers is undeniably good.

I know a lot of people have been talking about this place. I decided to try it out during my visit to KL recently. Liked the view, the environment and the music. However I did not like that it looked like you could hire company for the night from the many girls standing around. It was really obvious.

600rm to reserve a decent table otherwise they seat you in the corner...only after you've already paid your 60rm cover charge. Cover charge includes a drink however what they don't tell you is its only 1of 4 or so offered, you can't order from your corner table but have to take your drink ticket to the bar, wait behind servers, other guests to order a terribly mixed and watered down gin and tonic. Ha ha I will never return here.
My advice, go on the weekday before it's late grab a window seat and only order your drinks straight so they're not watered down. Food appetizers are barely digestible. Good view so just shoot a few drinks and run.
