Facilities: Great hotel with a bathtub and a swimming pool on the second floor. Hygiene: Excellent, highly recommended. Environment: Fantastic, there's a good restaurant on the second floor which is a big plus. Service: Check-out is at 12 PM. The hotel staff speaks Chinese, and you can store your luggage.

A very traditional hotel with a vintage decor style. However, the hygiene conditions are good, and the staff here are as warm and attentive as always!

Great service and an excellent location! The room was a bit small, and the facilities were a little dated, but the breakfast was fantastic!

The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated, really giving off a festive Christmas vibe. Our room was very clean and quiet, so we had a great night's sleep. We'll definitely choose to stay at the Shangri-La Grand Hotel again in the future.

Nice hotel in the city center of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is located in the best area of the city, there are a lot of green trees around it. Good breakfast with different cuisines (Chinese, Indian and European). You need to walk 5 mins to get to the main attraction (Pentronas Towers).

The hotel was great, especially Miss Kaiyi's efficient and friendly service.

Amenities are great. Pool, spa with sauna, whirlpool and steam rooms and gym are well maintained and clean.

Like many Shangri-La hotels now, this is quite dated and could definitely use some upgrades in rooms and across the property. The room is old-school Shangri-La style, hasn't seen some work in a while, feels and looks a bit old. The sockets have been frustrating - had to call a couple of times to get it fixed and sorted.
The QR code for in-room dining also never loaded, had to call to ask for a menu, which then took forever.

The pool also, very obvious on the eye it's old and even feels a bit sad. No cushioned day beds around the pool. The sparkling water I ordered took forever, and when ordering by QR code by the way, staff should check what your room deal is - I had no deposit on the room as pre-paid, so they had to come back again to ask me to pay, small details I know, but often it's the details that make a 5 star stand out.

WiFi across the property was terrible. Super slow at the pool, in the lobby and in room it kept disconnecting - as a business traveller this isn't ideal and disrupted the work flow. Enjoyed the lobby lounge layout though, super spacious and tables distanced well, so plenty of privacy. Decent drinks offer, the bread of the steak sandwich however was dry. Perhaps toast it a little too for a bit of crunch?!

I called the service centre from room to see what opening hours are at Arthur's Bar & Grill and what the happy hour deal is, she said "all day Sunday" - no such thing as happy hour on a Sunday here.

Not sure I'd come back as rooms and WiFi are key to my business travels - all needs to feel comfortable and work properly.

An upmarket Japanese restaurant in KL. Came here for lunch as the set lunch provided is worth for the price paid. Everything is good especially the sashimi is thick and very fresh too. The staffs are very friendly and attentive too.

Zipangu . Super Dining operates under the Nadaman Group of Japan. They have a fantastic menu of Japanese cuisine and fusion foods.

One of the better French restaurants in KL.

Cozy, romantic and perfect for the special occasion. Price wise is on par for its class.

Food is creative yet not too adventurous.

Truly enjoyed the evening.

Not a bad place to try out. But there are many other French restaurants in town to compare with these days. Hence, Lafite would need to up their game a bit.

Great view, good for first timers. Nice ambiance for family. Price a lot! It costs about 220 ringgits. New year Eve price was at c. 888, have to book early, food variety is decent but the taste in general was OKAYish (you must be thinking what?), that's how felt. Interestingly, I took my family on Jan/01, tried for a walk-in lunch but didn't get slots..so ended up in the North Indian &Mugalai cuisine near the ticket counter on the same floor ( next to the Pizza restaurant) and found the food quality much beyond decent. They we're quick. Food for 5 adults (including 3 of us less than 30years) and it costed us 225!
31.12.2017 Pierre
The view is absolutely fantastic and the slow rotation makes it even better. Service was good, however the food is mediocre and unworthy of the location, it's the sort of buffet you'd expect from your average hotel breakfast or food court. This place deserves (much) better.
20.12.2017 Sivakumar
Visited here for Hi-Tea (3:30 PM to 5:30 PM), Desserts are tasty, Coffee & Tea or so so.. Over all ambiance is very nice. Worth visiting.
03.12.2017 Sourav
Unique experience and highest restaurant in Malaysia. Worth to try. Varieties of continental and local favourite dishes. Price is on higher side but your memorable experience will compensate that.
25.10.2017 richard
Stunning views in a nice setting. Book the 18:30 setting and you get to see the city change from day to night. The selection of food is impressive and the quality good. The only downsides are the excited people running between tables to get the best photo and the crowds on the way to the elevator. Wee worth doing in a group or as a couple.
