Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur

The bathroom floor was incredibly dirty. When I sprayed water on it, grime started coming off. It looked like it had never been scrubbed. The drain was clogged, so water pooled when I showered. The sink was also clogged. Other than the bathroom, the rest of the room was fine. Sahur (pre-dawn meal during Ramadan) was at 4:30 AM, but not all the food was ready. The hotel is situation in the heart of KL. & easy assessed to many KL attractions. The room is quite big and the bed is comfortable. But the toilet is quite old and the cleanliness can still be improved. KL can be viewed from the hotel room.

It's a bit of a distance from the Petronas Towers, but unlike other hotels, they didn't hike up prices for New Year's Eve. The lobby is very modern and nicely decorated. The hotel's location is quite peaceful, right next to the St. Regis residences.

The biggest issue is that it's a bit old and dated. The lobby isn't great either. And for breakfast, I queued for 20 minutes at 10 AM... it was quite frustrating. I probably won't be coming back. A St. Regis shouldn't be at this standard.

I asked room service to change it to a memory pillow, but it seems they forgot.

The hotel is in good locations lots of restaurants and Bukit Bitang nearby. Only thing I hoped they change the carpet. The breakfast is awesome with lots of varieties.

We stayed at Verdant hill hotel for 5 days. Everything was great-the room, the breakfast and extremly helpful personnel at the reception. Convenion place of conditioner in the room, comfy bed. We did not use the hotel pool as the entrance is not comfortable for people with reduced mobility, but overall the hotel is great. We stayed in the room on 19 floor-fantastic views. Reccommend

The room was very clean, and the hotel's exterior was beautiful! It's right in the city center, and you can see the KL Tower from the top floor, which is a big plus! The only thing that needs improvement is breakfast. I wish they had some fried noodles; it was mostly Western and local dishes. The gym is good, and the rooftop bar on Saturdays with happy hour is a great deal!

The way to parking is a bit complicated but the parking fee is RM10 per stay (it is cheap compare to other hotels). Parking lot is spacious. The valet/security are very polite and always greeting us every day. The room is spacious but we did not get the capsule coffee on our second night. Perhaps now is low season so we were few of the Asian customers, all other guests were from oversea. Quite interesting...

Great location, with tons of food options right outside the door. The environment is decent, and the facilities are standard. Over a thousand a night including breakfast, and they actually offered a complimentary dinner. I arrived late and missed it, which felt like a bit of a waste.

An ordinary hotel in the middle of KL city. The rooms are not very good. The breakfast is not good. The employees are not friendly except for the one who takes care of the parking outside.

This hotel is closed to all transport and shops. Can be reached directly from the KLIA airport taking the KLIA transit train and switching to the MRT line at Putrajaya Sentral with a cross platform transfer at the TRX MRT station to the next Bukit Bintang stop. (See photo). Hotel is a 5 minute walk from Exit A. Option is good for solo travellers compared to twice the cost of a taxi.

Very disappointing stay. There was a construction/ door repair noise  during my stay and the hotel did not inform guests in advance. The noise started early and made it impossible to rest properly. Guests should be notified beforehand so they can decide whether to proceed with the booking.

Regularly stay here but this time unexpectedly system maintenance in progress with very short notice given. I have to stay in the room without electricity from 10:00am after my morning run. Ruined my day. Hotel should tell guests earlier not 1 hour before by sending a note under the door. Please take note.

i really enjoyed this trip because the place is wide and breathable. nature is in front of my room and its specious with balcony and coffee table. the white pillars of the hotel is stands tall and stately makes Flamingo Hotel looks luxurious. definitely will always come back here!

This hotel is quite good, and its location is a major plus, right next to Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown. You'll find plenty of food options nearby, especially the numerous restaurants in Chinatown. Staff were excellent. Location is very convenient, about a 15 minute walk to the Pavillion. The apartment is clean and spacious. Any questions or queries we had the staff dealt with promptly. I had an amazing stay here. Spend about 6 days. Everything was perfect, room was nice, has swimming pool on the roof top with restaurant as well. Affordable price. The hotel is an old property that's been renovated, and the interior is quite nice. We booked a double room, but it was really strange because it felt like it was originally a twin room. All the light switches and power outlets were right in the middle of the bed! 😂

I've stayed here before, but this time was the best. The room didn't have that musty smell, which was a problem before since only the bathroom had an extractor fan. This time, they had an air freshener in the room, which totally solved it. The view of the tallest building outside the window was fantastic too!

Finally, i could see a view from my hotel room 👏 I hadn't seen much of a view during my previous stays at the Olympic Hotel in Malaysia. However, i must point out that the pillowcases, sheets, and towels weren't thoroughly clean 😩 Otherwise, everything was fine, and i was quite satisfied.
