I had a really nice stay at Nilu Cancún by Selina! 🌴 The location is perfect — right in the hotel zone, close to the beach and bus stops. The vibe was super chill, and I met some amazing travelers in the dorm
The location inside a jungle was very attractive and athmospheric. In the beginning, we were somewhat lost because the parking was located on a different location rather than near the entrance
Great location, super close to the beach, good facilities, pool, bar and Great Lake view
The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from the beach, which is very convenient. Considering the price, it’s definitely worth recommending. Friendly staff, good Wi-Fi, and a comfortable stay overall
The common areas were abundant with a large outside pool and fairly priced drinks considering the location. One of the shining gems though was the baggage storage
The hotel is in a nice location, close to restaurants and the main activity areas. There is plenty of free parking available, which was very convenient. However, there are a few drawbacks worth noting
Good if you like it lowkey and the morning buffet and that is pretty good but more variety would have been good but I’m not picky. I think it shares a beach with temptation
I saw a bit of adults only things but I did go for a scroll so probably my only fault haha but just saying if you have kids keep them close
I loved it was great for one night had a lot of fun. I liked the other places around the area but this was a bargain price
However, the hotel's location is a bit poor for watching the sunrise
• Service: The staff throughout the resort provided top-tier service. • Amenities: The pool area is a highlight, featuring great activities and seamless food/drink service
We had real good dinning experience at Los Velas. The Chef Miguel gave personal touch to our food and made cuisine which we love. He didn't even know our preference but he amused us. Also serving by Justo was really good
It’s not the sleek, ultra-modern glass tower your influencer cousin stays in, but it has a certain retro charm that I actually dug. The Vibe
Let’s be real: the decor hasn't changed much since Titanic was in theaters
You are right in the heart of the action. * The Beach: Pristine white sand is literally steps away
• Beach & Entertainment: The beach was pristine and very enjoyable. We also loved the evening games and entertainment that kept the energy high into the night. Overall: A great destination for foodies and beach lovers
We have been vacationing at this resort for the past 32 years. We have seen the upgrades throughout the years, as well as the consistent views of the most beautiful beach in Cancun

The hotel was well appointed and conveniently located near a mall, though not very close to the beaches. There’s an infrequent buggy to a nearby beach club at SLS, which takes about 15/20 min walking
The hotel's location is decent, close to a commercial area, and getting a taxi is quite convenient. The room's blackout curtains are really good. However, all the water in the room has to be paid for.
Blackout curtains were great! While the staff could have been a bit friendlier (not to say that they were rude), the overall experience was positive, making it a good stay overall
Amazing stay at the Renaissance Cancun Resort & Marina! The hotel is modern, very well located, and the rooms are comfortable with a beautiful view
A special shout-out to the staff, who were always welcoming, professional, and attentive. I highly recommend it for a stay in Cancun 🌴
The pendant lamp above the bedside table was more for show than function – it actually fell off and shattered, causing a power outage for half an hour until an electrician fixed it

The buffet meals were good, but too crowded, especially at breakfast: queues to get in, queues to get served. The two outstanding restaurants were the steakhouse and the French restaurant
The check-in queue was incredible, an hour's wait. There were very few staff members; the person who helped me was very friendly, but after that long, tiring, and hot wait
Everything went well. The only thing was there were a lot of people.
Hotel was nice but is a bit dated with some areas like the mini golf course needing a bit of work. The restaurants were very nice but the dinner buffet left a lot to be desired. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
Compare with 2 years ago. The quality of food and services are lower than before. Probably will go somewhere next time.
The staff are very enthusiastic, but there are not many restaurant options, making it difficult to locate

The only thing I didn't like is that when I wanted to ask for room service they never answered. I don't know if because there was an event or it was a day off for the kitchen
Older but nice clean hotel at one point this hotel must of ben luxury now its glory days are behind em but it still a nice stylish place to stay
Everything was very good, the service was excellent, it is newly remodeled, I highly recommend it
Good place for a business or study trip. Rooms have all what you need: iron, hairdryer, table, couple chairs. It's a little bit old and some sheets and towels are my peers
But it's a good 3 stars hotel in the city center with a lot of opportunities for going out
Una buea opcion para hospedarse, buena ubicacion, y buen precio el hotel es muy centrico.
Property is in a gated residential area with private beach access. Nice pools and Mediterranean restaurant was good. Very close to a mall and taxis areive quickly.
The attention to detail, whether in the room furnishings, housekeeping, or the service at the pool and beach, is particularly noteworthy
The rooms are modern, spacious, and very tastefully decorated, with stunning views of the turquoise sea. The beds are incredibly comfortable and ensure a restful sleep
The location directly on the private beach is ideal, quiet yet central. If you're looking for relaxation, style, and excellent service, this is the place for you
Best hotel in Cancun! The staff are top-notch. The rooms with sea views are magnificent.
The hotel's culinary offerings leave nothing to be desired: The breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality, and dinner in the hotel's restaurant was also a real highlight – creative, fresh, and perfectly coordinated

It was a very comfortable trip with my wife. The sea view room had a nice view, but the room size was a bit smaller than the standard room. Overall, it was very nice, but there were long queues for restaurants
The beach was better than expected, and the rooftop pool was excellent, even better than the pool at Impression
All the restaurants, except for the barbecue which was freshly grilled, seemed to be centrally kitchened. The international cuisine all had the same chef's style, and the seafood tasted frozen and wasn't of high quality
The room cleanliness was okay, but honestly, only one restaurant was good; the rest were terrible! The facilities were also outdated, beach management was poor, and the beach environment was unpleasant
If I have the chance, I would probably come back again
The room was damp and smelled bad, and no one cleaned it during my stay. The room service had limited options and the food was unappetizing
For sure, this is a place best suited for a specific clientele
The hotel stay was okay I mean it is beautiful. However, they don’t offer welcome drinks even with the high price it costs. If you are an influencer or you have a blog, you can’t fly a drone
They can’t even send you pictures or videos either. The bathtubs are dirty as they are made from mosaic and I don’t think they scrub them. It is not wheelchair friendly
The room was very comfortable, though privacy was a bit lacking. However, embracing nature and experiencing Mayan culture was incredibly artistic, and the service was excellent.
The beach was shared with other resorts and though the resort is kid-free, kids did wander into the Azulik side of the beach which caused Azulik staff to hover but not do anything
You can’t flush toilet paper as it’s an eco friendly resort. To be honest it was a waste of money I wouldn’t come here again

Sunbeds are easy to get either by the pool or on the beach with towels always readily available. The food in the restaurant is delicious, with a good range of options - The pasta dishes are superb
A simply amazing hotel in a quiet, relaxing location. You can walk to the pool or beach within a minute from your room. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful with it's own little cove
The sea experience is incredible: kayaks, SUPs, and snorkel equipment allow you to explore the beautiful reef of Soliman Bay, spotting lobsters, stingrays, barracudas, parrotfish, and more
Breakfast is excellent too, with the fruit platter and bread basket a wonderful starter. The front desk team are very attentive and helpful. You get a tour of the facility on arrival, as well as welcome drinks
Breakfast is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and many options, from fresh yogurt with granola and honey to perfectly prepared eggs and delicious Mexican-style breakfasts
All of the restaurant staff are incredibly friendly too and are very impressive at remembering your room number - special shout out to Juan, Gilberto and Ulises
Thank you for our wonderful 4 night stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. The only negative side is no kettle in the room and they charged us for 2 cups of boiling water of 80 pesos
Nice ,clean hotel , located 15 min from Langusta Beach, my room was good, air conditioner works, good Wi Fi, good bedding
Excellent deep swimming pool, with plenty of beach beds
Good simple buffet breakfast
Stuff is supportive
I would recommend this hotel
Big and clean pool; decent food; good location
The room felt dated, and the water boiler was quite noisy, especially at night. The doors also have poor sound insulation, so footsteps and conversations from the corridor are clearly audible.
It’s a bit out of the way from the main town and attractions but that’s why we booked here
The bathroom window wouldn't close, making it noisy throughout the night. The showerhead was faulty, and the hot water pressure was poor. The furniture probably needs some repairs as well.
Small place. The beach is not the best, right next to the docks. The rooms are clean, but not as clean as they could be. It is a good option if you're in a budget.
Hotel is outdated smells terrible. Food was on not the greatest kind of bland. There is only one elevator which you had to wait forever. The shower was cold I told the front desk couple of times still cold
Many locals stay here and you get a real feel for the people. The $1 bus stops here so you do have access to everything else available. Oscar and Max were real standouts for us
I asked to check out at 12:00 on the 28th, and the lunch did not start until 1:30 pm. Although Ctrip refunded part of the fee, the entire itinerary plan was ruined and the fee was not consistent
Cute hotel on the North side of the hotel zone. Staff are excellent and you do get a home feel. The hotel is small and the staff work hard to arrange activities during the day
I should have listened to the negative reviews they are on point. Almost all the staff didn’t speak English which All that together was frustrating especially on vacation

BEST RESORT EVER. They made my stay amazing. Everyone was just so friendly to me & my guest. I will return the next time I visit Cancun. Bar worker Rafael was outstanding. Very attentive.
We had an incredible room with an incredible view for an incredible moment ! They where very kind with us as we came there to celebrate our engagement.
The only missing point is the food
Just walk down to the street and flag one down. I like that the hotel is not too close to the noise. The view from our room was amazing! We are right on the beach - just walk out the back of the hotel and there you are
The only downside was that the beach wasn’t as good and gentle as the northern ones, and when it was windy, umbrellas weren’t allowed. The buffet restaurant was also quite hot and stuffy
Overall we had a really great stay at the resort. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, the pools and beach are beautiful. All the staff was more than happy to help us with any questions and accommodations
Drinks were fantastic they will make anything you want. The view is beautiful and the pools are great. They do activities in the pool which are a lot of fun for the kids

Breakfast fresh, always lots of meat dishes, as well serve fish and seafood. It is very convenient if you have early tours. The choice and quality of alcohol all too well. The beach waiters serving drinks
This was an overall nice property with nice location, beautiful beach and pools. The food truck and tacos by the pool were hits for our midday lunch/snack. The buffet always had something we could enjoy
Enjoyed sitting by the pool. Not a swimmer, but refreshing to just get in the pool. The staff was all very helpful and our room was maintained well while we were there.
The pool and beach areas were beautiful and well maintained, with a very alert lifeguard who made us feel safe. The infinity pool and swim-up bars were perfect for relaxing. Entertainment, however, could be better
The beach is absolutely beautiful. The food and drinks definitely not the best and service was very slow. We had a great time as a family, but I definitely expected better food quality, and better service
I recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Cancun for my friend’s wedding. The property is beautiful, with stunning ocean views and a clean, well-kept beach

Excellent service, beautiful rooms, great food, amazing beach and sunrise!
Clean and beautiful room, staff was great, overall clean hotel. The restaurant onsite was good. The beach was nice. Overall great place to stay
Gorgeous, well appointed rooms. Incredible, professional, helpful staff
We booked three rooms and stayed four nights
I wish we could add more stars.
We will be back again and again
The restaurant that’s part of Tago, right on the beach, was perfect for our beach days. The views were the best on the beach, hands down
My only feedback is the beach needs more umbrellas for shade and sometimes the sulphur smell on the beach is quite strong
We loved the hotel and the room very beautiful bathroom and private pool. The customer service from the hotel was extremely poor, they tried to make us pay 500 pesos per day for bikes when next door they were 200
The hotel’s location is beachfront, which is perfect for travelers. The room is well-ventilated. The only problem is the parking logistics.
Hotel is location is perfect, with beech front access, with plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Room was good with a very cold plunge pool & separate seating area to relax
Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, hotel is very unique right on the beach, breakfast and juices are wonderful. Check in process needs improvement.
Pros - Beautiful property with rooms that look like treehouses, right on beautiful sandy beach with private area with sun loungers. Rooms were clean and spacious, good WiFi and free offsite parking
Reason given - shortage of staff and priority given to checked out rooms. Rooftop - The property has a beautiful rooftop with a hot tub and swimming pool
which means there was always a long wait. Also, they were only available from 8am to 6pm (or 8pm). Cleaning - Somedays cleaning didn't happen until 5pm despite asking for it at 11am and multiple reminders
This shows a serious lack of planning, inventory control, and respect for guests’ time. At the restaurant located closer to the beach, the service was equally poor
Check in: stood in line over an hour and then stood in line another hour to get room
Room: when you have 4 people, why are the beds pushed together?? No privacy (bathroom door not full and if you turn the bathroom light on, the whole room lights up
The app never worked for us to make dining reservations
Evening shows were excellent
During my stay at this hotel, the experience was disappointing and far below expectations. The bathroom door scraped when opening, which is a basic issue that should have been resolved with minimal maintenance
There was an excessive delay in assigning a table, and the waiting time for a server to attend us was unjustifiable. The service was slow, disorganized, and unprofessional
The pillow was uncomfortable, directly affecting the quality of sleep, which is unacceptable for a hotel that presents itself as a comfort-oriented option
On two occasions, we waited in line for the taco restaurant and, after waiting, were informed that we could not enter because the food had run out
Property is absolutely gorgeous, multiple pools overlooking the beach, great service. Jay ass super helpful during our stay!
Everything was amazing! It was the best of both worlds being able to walk in the Mayan jungle on property but also being right on the beach
Our casita was beautiful and clean and well maintained and we loved having our own private pool with ocean views
My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Papaya Playa and the experience blew us away. The staff’s service was exceptional and they made us feel right at home
We had a jungle casita with a rooftop pool. The rooftop pool was a great decision, I was in it every morning and night while we were there. We were nested slightly in the jungle, a perfect distance away from the beach
Specifically, I would like to mention Santos, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The property is quiet and tranquil, and the party on Saturday was the best time I’ve ever had! 10/10 would recommend
The room was excellent, exceeding our expectations, and the restaurant was delicious. The only downside was the abundance of mosquitoes, probably due to the rainy season
This hotel is far from the beach and definitely showing its age. Not a large property n has seen better days. Still, the staff try their best, are friendly and really the saving grace of the property
Our sink was clogged and the manager had to try to unclog it because no one else was there. There are lots of mosquitoes and flies that bite around the pool
The room facilities are good, the bed is big, you can also borrow bicycles for free, the business center service is also very good, the overall experience is very good👍
Lovely place and super close to the heart of the Tulum! I'd recommend everyone to stay here. breakfast is also wonderful.
We were grateful to the front desk for providing mosquito repellent
Cancun, Blvd. Kukulcan 3.5, Kukulcan Boulevard, Zona Hotelera 🧭 Map
Pool was very nice but lots of seagulls. It would been good to have someone constantly serving at the pool to pick up food etc to keep the seagulls away. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Ocean Spa hotel, it was clean, well kept, and safe. The ocean view was pretty but the beach was more of a harbour beach as other reviews have said, not really for swimming
Reminds me more of a family kinda place with kids. I left every meal hungry still. A little outdated but worth the money. Other thing is they should mention you can not go in the beach water at this resort which ******
Best customer service, rooms maintainly neat. Salute to Chef and kitchen, prep and servers, food is healthwise and we love it! Shout to the cool bartender, Jesus. , Enrique and Manuel on dining
We enjoy our stay, Thank you so much
My husband and I want to give a shoutout to the server Luis though as every time we went to the Frida restaurant his service was phenomenal, always taking initiative to refill drinks, giving good recommendations and working at a fast pace
