Reviews
From the moment we checked in, the experience went wrong. Our room keys were mixed up, our reservation was entered for one night instead of two, and most of the staff we encountered were dismissive and rude. There was one front desk associate who was genuinely kind and helpful, but the rest of the team set an unwelcoming tone that carried throughout our stay.
When I addressed the poor service, I was told I should “understand” because the team had experienced a long season. That response is unacceptable. Every guest deserves to be treated with the same care and respect, whether they arrive on opening day or at the end of the season.
The situation was made worse when staff entered our rooms despite “Do Not Disturb” signs being displayed. This is an inexcusable breach of privacy and completely unacceptable.
It’s clear that the issue lies in management rather than the individual front desk staff. We observed a lack of leadership, accountability, and training. The team appeared unsupported, which directly affects the guest experience.
The rooms themselves were mediocre—something that could have been overlooked had the service been attentive and professional. Unfortunately, it was not.
Lastly, I urge future guests to review their folios carefully. We encountered billing inaccuracies and found the handling of charges to be misleading at best.
In short, this hotel is poorly managed, lacks basic guest service standards, and shows little concern for feedback or improvement. I truly regret staying here. Positives are the pool and the location but that is it!
The staff alternated between barely helpful to downright rude. The only time anyone was nice or even pleasant was during check out. The hotel is sterile of any character, design story, or charm. There is no iron or steamer available - only an ironing service. I was there for a wedding and urgently needed some ironing done. I had to call them 3 times and wait 2 hours to get this “service done” for 20€ and it wasn’t even well done. Our room was decent but multiple friends had issues with their shower flooding and the staff didn’t care or bother to help. Elevators were out of service, the hotel is a maze of hallways and stairs. For the amount of money paid I was shocked at the state of the hotel and service. Go somewhere else if you’re going to stay in Budva.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! The breakfast is fantastic, with a variety of choice, and great coffee. Fresh fruit, pudding, cheese, and fresh pastry.
The location is perfect in the city centre, close to everything, with a private beach accesibile via an elevator!
The interior of the hotel is a work of art!
Highly recommended for a relaxing and luxurious stay!

The room are dated and have so many issues we have to move around in the bathroom with all drainage water coming out of the bathroom
The bathtub is just a showpiece which cannot be used as the water does not stay in the tub and goes out straight through the drain
Lights did not work
They did not even keep a blanket for us to sleep with in the night upon asking for a blanket they gave us one and expected us who are on vacation make our own bed
Upon talking to reception staff who are VERY VERY RUDE they are like what can we do it’s not our problem and they think they own us and we work for them
Is that the type of response expected from a resort which claims to be there since 1937 with over 300 rooms ?
Apart the location of the resort the experience of staying here is really HORRIBLE and I would recommend that any traveller should look at better alternatives next door
The fairytale old town.
The Old Town (Stari Grad) is Budva’s showstopper, offering winding streets, historic churches and a centuries-old citadel to explore. But this walled fortress is also the ideal place to sit back and relax with a drink, or enjoy a spot of souvenir shopping in the quaint stores. Relax on the Budva Riviera
If you’re keen to top up your tan, you’ll find so much to admire in Budva – the surrounding region offers more than 15 high-quality beaches! The town lends its name to the Budva Riviera, a 35km strip of lush Adriatic coastline, which is home to secluded coves and islets.
Budva’s a haven for history buffs and sun worshippers, boasting a charming old town as well as a host of sandy beaches. But it’s not all about the past, there’s also an array of contemporary boutiques, restaurants and café-bars mingling around narrow streets of churches and bargain-selling shops. Podgorica is the capital city of Montenegro. Its rivers and bridges include the modern Millennium Bridge over the Morača River, and the stone bridge. Montenegro is therefore one of the newest internationally-recognised countries in the world. Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi. Durmitor National Park, home to bears and wolves, encompasses limestone peaks, glacial lakes and 1,300m-deep Tara River Canyon.
Starting from minor problems like two times my room-access card stop working (yes, card was holding separately from phone and other things), continuing very disappointing and sometimes rude service in hotel's canteen (I can't name it "restaurant")
The most redicilolus moment was that there was breakfast, dinner and supper. Breakfast the cheapest, supper the most expensive.
All days only our company paid and have a dinners and suppers, and by some reason coffee and other drinks was available only for breakfast (when at the canteen was other guests).
Instead of juice there was only water. And even water was available now always.
There was a lot of other bad things but I'm tired to type, sorry.
Usually I'm not so hard in reviews, but this place by my opinion didn't deserve even one star:(
The worst experience in my travel life
Friendly service.
Really good food.
Nicely situated in a good location.
