Dar Touyir in Marrakech

We stayed in this riad for 5 days and had only good experiences. Great location, with many restaurants and markets nearby. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The terrace on the roof is very cozy, and we often just sat there in the evenings. When the weather was good, breakfast was served on the terrace.

The best riad to stay in the medina! Everyone was super nice and friendly!

The location of this riad was easy to find and located right inside the medina. My friends and I were greeted by Aziz who was a university student studying English. It was only his 3rd day, so he was a bit nervous and spilled our welcome tea. It was not an issue, and he was very polite and helpful. My room located on the 2nd floor was small, but cozy. There was only enough room for the bed and a side table. My friends' rooms were a bit larger and had desks and chairs. The room had a small closet and a safe. The bathroom was clean and pretty in a terracotta color. One thing to note is that there is no shower curtain or real separate shower, so the floor will get wet. Also, none of the rooms had locks and keys. When in the room, we had a small bolt to lock it from the inside, but when we left the room, we had a small bolt to close it from the outside. But basically anyone could go into the room when we're out. Something to note if you're traveling alone or have valuables. There is someone at the front desk 24/7 though. Breakfast was on the rooftop and consisted of bread and pastries. I was so sick of bread at this point in the trip, I just ate anything else but that -- which sometimes included pancakes or eggs. My friend had to travel to another city for a flight and was trying to figure out whether to book a taxi, take the train or bus at 4/5 am. We asked Aziz for his recommendations for a taxi company, but he said he didn't have any. I think he didn't quite understand us at first, but came back to us ten minutes later with the info of someone they use for transportation. He called the driver on our behalf and arranged it all. At 5 am, he also walked my friend to the meetup location in front of the nearby mosque.

We had a wonderful stay, the hotel is very clean & cozy we were at the top of the house with a small private terrace we loved it. The bathroom was small but worked fine. Breakfast was freshly made every morning The staff was friendly like family. Big Thank you to Mustafa that was a very gracious host that went above and beyond in assisting us through out our vacation.
Hotel is well situated everything is right there taxis too if you choose to go farther.

Overall lovely and homely
What a lovely place. The pool isn’t as pictured on Google but I don’t think the hotel put that image up. The room didn’t have locks but it was okay as we only stayed one night. It’s very homely, like a cottage. Beautiful. Our contact was very kind and helpful, organised us a taxi on our last day to take us to the airport (the taxi driver tried to overcharge us but I don’t think they were affiliated with the hotel). Overall lovely. Communication between the host and the chef around vegan food could’ve been clearer.

Very nice and extremely helpful staff, Khaula and Mustafa, the food was excellent (including wine) both for breakfast and dinner. This Dar is located in a quiet side street in the old medina. Excellent locaion.

The hotel is really lovely and everyone is really friendly. Unfortunately I didn’t have any hot water for four days in my room, otherwise my scores for the hotel would be higher!

Our stay at Dar Touyir was wonderful. Due to the low tourism because of covid we were the only guests. Moustapha picked us up from the taxi drop off (its not easy to find ;))and made us feel home from the very first moment! Really cosy and quiet riad with a nice rooftop. Breakfast was great too! Thank you Mustapha and staff for being such great hosts!

My fiance and I loved this riad!

The staff were super helpful and charming. Riad is charming with ample rooms and nice rooftop, breakfast is just about right and delicious.

We were there during new years eve, which I used to propose to my girlfriend and they helped with all my request.

I would 100% recommend this Riad.
