Prinsotel Alba Hotel Apartamentos in Cala d'Or

We stayed in Mallorca for two weeks and stayed in four places. This is the best option! Friendly staff, excellent amenities, a large pool, a spacious apartment with all the amenities, and a well-kept garden! We want to return to the Prinsotel soon! 🥰

Wonderful stay. The place is nice and the staff is super friendly. They were wonderful with our kids, very helpful and attentive and just great people. We’d like to give special thanks to the concierge Andrea, Lourdes and Feli at the restaurant and Maria from the animacion team. You have a great spirit and made us feel very welcomed! Can very much recommend for families traveling with (little) children.

Where do I start, this hotel is an absolute gem. The moment we arrived the staff where great. They listened carefully and delt with every request fast and efficiently. The rooms are great for families. Clean and are regularly cleaned. The facilities are good, the spa is an added bonus for a cheeky escape from the busy outside. The best part of the stay for me is the entertainment team. They give it there all 24/7. Our daughter absolutely loved these guys, they where a young team who where full of energy and amazing with all kids no matter what the age or nationality. We have stayed here twice this year , once in July and recently returned in October. I guess what we carnt wait to go back next year.

This is our second time staying at the hotel! It was good value for money for us! Close to the beach. Nice pool, nice people. I recommend it to everyone.

Such an amazing stay at this hotel! Manager Alexjandro went above and beyond for us — super friendly and helpful. Dahiro the entertainer was expectational and made sure everyone got involved and had fun. The spa was next-level relaxing. Can’t wait to come back! Got back last week from a 4 nights stay, The hotel Is lovely, small blocks spread around we was in block 7 overlooking the swimming pool perfect rooms Were good abit basic but clean. Pool area was lovely! Quiet,clean well spread out no rushing for beds, nice pool bar and food! Perfect location, short stroll to the beautiful beach then couple more minutes to the restaurants,cafes,bars,shops all beautifully clean and modern and great food ! Taxi to the harbour was 7€ and had a lovely meal there overlooking the yachts and beautiful area Definetly would love to come back ! Only negative was our son was with us and he’s 19 and 6ft 3 and having paid full adult price for him his bed was one side of a corner sofa with a sheet on it ? I don’t think this should be okay if he was a child under 16 maybe but a full price paying adult it just isn’t right,

This is my second time at this hotel. The first time, I came with my family and stayed longer. This time, I came with friends from all over Europe and we had a really great long weekend. The hotel is well maintained, always clean, and the rooms are very spacious—actually, being alone, it was almost too big! The room and common areas were spotless. The pool is nice and the service at the reception and in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Honestly, everyone was fantastic. The hotel is close to the sea and also really close to the nightlife area of Cala d'Or. I think it’s the best possible balance between peace and quiet, the beach, and nightlife! If you like playing basketball, there's a small basketball court available near by Building 6 and 7!!!

Oh my goodness !!! You will not find anywhere nicer than this Hotel and Spa ,Andrea from Prinsotel Alba is so so lovely,in fact all the staff are so friendly and you know they really appreciate you being there ! The food is exemplary and the Churros for breakfast every morning is a real treat ,we are just out of Alma Spa which is run by Ghania,what an absolute treat !!!We were treated like absolute royalty !!Would def recommend the spa to everyone,we are feeling so zen we are going back tomorrow!! This is our second Year here and going home to book for next year !!!!!

The location was absolutely lovely and so much choice when it came to beaches , tourist shopping, bars and restaurants. Everything was close by – the beach, the bars, even the train, spar shops which made it really convenient. The highlight for us was definitely the food. It was fantastic! Freshly made omelettes and eggs, steak, fish, and chicken all cooked on the grill right in front of you. The peppercorn sauce was delicious, crossiants, breads and the kids were in their element with the pump of Nutella – plus it was great to have Heinz sauces . Ahmed at the food truck was so friendly and kept us going at lunchtime. Claudia and the bar team were also brilliant, and the cleaners did a wonderful job keeping everything spotless the reception team were fantastic and always on hand to assist. The air conditioning was spot on too, which made such a difference. The hotel itself had a really nice vibe. Being half-board made it feel relaxed, without the heavy drinking atmosphere you often get. The families all had a nice vibe and the kids’ entertainment struck the perfect balance – fun and engaging but not too full on. Lots of toddlers and parents which had a nice vibe. They had a kids club but was geared more towards the under 5, the older kids has volleyball /polo or the mat. You could join in if you wanted, or simply relax if you didn’t Sunbeds were what you would expect in August and the beach is 5 mins away with space for a blanket. It ticks all the boxes for a calm , relaxed , clean break. The pool wasn't huge but the deeper part was great for helping our son gain confidence in swimming and lots of jumping! Feedback... They should remove the tables on the side to create more sunbed space around the main pool and put proper tables into the bar area for the option for food inside.

We have just returned from here and it was great on the whole. Check in was easy and pleasant. Rooms We had a pool view ground floor which was perfect! The rooms are very spacious there was 4 of us and lots of space and storage (3 wardrobes) Mostly clean, a few bits missed but sheets were changed and clean towels every day nothing major me being picky! Rooms had kettle and fridge which was great for milk , water etc. We also had a microwave. Food and drinks We were room only and ate in the pool Bar and the food was wow! Goats cheese salad , fresh hot pizzas! The cocktails were great too (aperol spritzes) and more reasonably priced than anywhere else we found in Cala D’or! Location Could not be in a more perfect location! 5 mins from the beach (Cala Gran) 5 mins from the main square! 2 mins from the little train that goes all around Cala D’or! Bars , shops and restaurants galore. Sunbeds Definitely a problem , my husband was having to get up extra early and get back in bed to reserve and I know some people were even doing it at night! Not ideal really also the sunbeds were very close together! The grounds are beautiful and kept very nice. We really enjoyed this hotel and world return! My children loved it - we also liked how the pool area was small so we could watch our 7 year old at all times (he can swim) while he was in the pool and they had the pool carpet out many times during the week which they loved! All in all a fab stay! Thank you ☺️
