Globales Hotel in Cala Bona

First visit to hotel stayed for 11 nights in room 114 . All inclusive via jet2 * indicates could do better Check in was no problem Suite with air-conditioning Main room is spacious & decorated white walls with comfortable super king size bed with memory foam mattress. 1 desk, 1 small luggage platform with small underneath storage. Bedside tables with over hang lamps and side night light. * I would say that the room could do with extra storage drawers in bedside units and desk could have drawers to. * Mirrors Two fixed mirrors in bathroom , above sink and one on a swivel for shaving. There is a large full length mirror in hall, which although is good, there is no mirror in the main room or side room ie above the desk, so if you wear makeup or want to do your hair it's a bit of a struggle. I used the t.v screen as a mirror for doing my hair. I had a hand held mirror with me, I would suggest you take one with you. * Just not enough space to store all your bits and bobs away. Balcony has table, 2 chairs and small drying rack. The added bonus of suite is that it has a separate room, with sofa bed t.v & standing lamp small round table and wicker chair. This room also has a scroll open window which let's a good air flow in. * Again very little other storage Bathroom, square sink, walk in shower. Combined Shampoo conditioner and shower gel provide. Located in shower in pump dispensers. ( I didnt use as had my own stuff? High towel rack with towel shelf. * Shower is terrible ! Slow water, difficult hot & cold mixer lever, either to hot or to cold. Toilet flush fine. Rooms are cleaned every day very well. Change of towels if required, and beds changed completely every 3rd day. However if you forget to turn your door sign to do not disturb, the maid is very quick to enter..lol I used my travel doorstop..lol Meals We had breakfast. Lunch & dinner on all inclusive with drinks. Meals where not interesting & basic. Plenty cheeses if you like cheese at every meal. To many dishes containing potatoes rehashed from lunch. Desserts very similar ingredients rearranged. Most where mousses which tasted synthetic, although we did like the rice pudding. Tight passage into restarunt along side at drink machines which doesn't make sense as causes disruption. Clearing staff pleasant, folks behind catering counters not so much and not really knowledgeable about dishes. For instance. I don't eat fish, but alot of the side dishes salad bar items could contain fish mixed through. We did speak to the rep at the hotel, about variety. We would stay at the hotel again but maybe not on all inclusive. Pool area coukd be cleaner, fruits from trees left lying attracting ants. We could get beds at poolside, as we where there out of season, but in season it may be difficult. Pool is good size, cold but OK once your in (it was Sept/oct) Inside pool is small but warm and welcomed facility usualy a child free zone.

Our first time staying here and loved every minute of it, hotel is spotless and all staff are very friendly, room's are a great size and very bright.. pool area is good plenty of sunbeds, we went in pool every day even though it was freezing but once your in it's fine loved the snack bar and the breakfast and lunch were good dinner at night could do with a bit more choice, great location for beach shops and bars.. would definitely recommend, my only moan would be a bit more storage needed in toilet for toiletries ( I know there's a bit of space behind the mirror) we can't wait to come back..

I had a fantastic stay at Globales Cala Bona in Majorca! The staff were absolutely amazing — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel was spotless at all times, from the rooms to the pool area, snack area, and reception. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and the harbour, with bus stops and a taxi rank nearby, making it super convenient for exploring. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

Stayed at this hotel 11th/18th September. Hotel was spotlessly clean , staff were so friendly . Food was amazing , the room was huge All rooms face the pool which was lovely to sit out in the balcony. We stayed on a ground floor so would imagine the higher you went you would get a pool and sea view x I have never been to a hotel where everyone is so friendly and chatty . Met some lovely people while we were there x Booking again for next year x

First time visit to this hotel, we had a wonderful time. Hotel was spotless and smelt lovely as you walked into reception. We had a nice room on level 2. The bed was huge and comfy and there was a separate sitting area with a sofa and a tv. My only negative for the room was lack of drawers and also there wasn’t a mirror on the table making it difficult to do my hair. Had to sit on the chair in the hallway and attempt to do it from there! The food in the restaurant was really tasty always a good temperature and the selection of desserts were incredible! We definitely indulged!! The pool area was great and never had a problem getting sun loungers even mid morning. On our last morning we came for breakfast early at 8am as our pick up was 9am and we saw people queuing for the doors to open to grab a lounger! There really was no need for this as it wasn’t a problem getting a lounger! Every member of staff we spoke to was polite and friendly and the waiting staff cleared tables promptly and always with a smile.

Me and my wife stayed here for a week Overall 10/10 Hotel nice Rooms nice big ! Very clean Pool was great nice and warm I thought the food was 7/10 on the basis that whilst being a very fussy eater Breakfast and lunch were ok Entertainment not a fan but I’m no singer but listened to it on balcony Location brilliant Shops bars etc all within a short walk Recommend Maria’s next door lovely woman Both of us would stay here again Hotel staff very friendly and hard working People stayin there were friendly as well after a day of bein the newbies lol

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights at the end of July into the start of August. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 1am on the first night, the receptionist told us that the hotel is fully booked for this night and that we had to stay at the hotel down the street (a Cabot Hotel) just for that one night then come back the next morning. He walked us over to the other hotel, explaining it is also a 4 star and pretty much the same. Luckily, we are two younger, more able people, so this walk (out of our hotel, down the back road to the other hotel, then through the other hotel and upstairs) wasn’t the end of the world. However, at 1am, after a day of traveling and this unexpected disruption, we weren’t too happy, but just wanted to sleep (we were not informed of this until our arrival). The hotel we were sent to (in our opinion) was not 4 stars. It was more like a 3 star, with awful beds, we did not hardly sleep. We went back to Globales first thing the next morning, and they said our room was ready - which we were glad of. After this initial bad start, the rest of the stay was great: the rooms were spotless; the beds were super comfy, the balcony and rooms were spacious and cleaned daily! There was a bit of competition for subbeds however, we noticed at the start of our trip, we were able to find a couple of spare sunbeds and use them around the pool. But towards the end of our trip, the hotel must have gotten busier as there were no sunbeds free after the pool opened (around 9am). I would stay here again, maybe getting in earlier to the hotel to avoid the first night disruption.

5* review is not really enough for this hotel, I was going to single out certain members of staff but that would not have been fair as they were ALL exceptional. The rooms were very well appointed and spotless with maid service everyday. The pool ares was well kept and their no towels on sun beds until 09.00 ensured there were plenty of beds to go around. We went for 5 nights all-inclusive and every meal was excellent with so much choice. If you are looking for an exceptional holiday very nicely situated I think we have found you the ideal place. We have just returned from a great 4 night stay at the Globales Cala Bona. It was myself, partner and 6 month old baby. Location The location is great. Walking distance to the nearby centre where there are lots of bars, shops, restaurants etc. All relatively flat which is great for a pram. Food We felt the food was great quality and plentisome. Some reviews are critiquing the lack of choice etc but we found there to be lots of choice (as long as you're not an overly picky eater). Presented lovely. We had breakfast, lunch & dinner. Room The room was beautiful and immaculate. The whole hotel is immaculately clean. The room was spacious. We asked for a lower level room as we had the pram and this was honoured. I emailed the hotel beforehand about providing some bottled water as we were arriving at 12am and I'd need to feed the baby and they very kindly provided some for our arrival. Pool The pool does get busy but we had no trouble getting beds (in fact we had the same beds for our whole stay). The beds open at 9, and even though lots to queue, you don't have to. The beds didn't really get full until gone 10/11. I did queue for beds about 8.50am but this is only because I wanted to get beds near the baby pool and on the end (space for the pram). The baby pool was lovely. The pool area did lack atmosphere though. Vibe I would say the hotel is suited more towards older guests, or families. There isn't very much there in the form of entertainment (3 times a week) but it didn't bother us too much. If it was just me and my partner or if I were with friends I'd have wanted a little more liveliness. Staff We found on the whole the staff to be friendly and attentive. The reception staff were exceptional (Kasey who checked us in was great). Some of the bar staff weren't really very friendly and sometimes felt as if it was a chore to serve you. The dining staff were great, cleared plates immediately and were friendly. Service As we arrived at 12am we were very happy to be served a cold plate of snacks which was much appreciated after a flight. This was also the case when we were leaving the hotel at 6.40am for breakfast. All in all we had a great stay and we would return with our baby, but maybe not as a couple.
