Globales Suites in Cala Bona

We're just come back from here & had a great time. From the reception to all the staff in all areas bar staff restaurant staff cleaners

5* review is not really enough for this hotel, I was going to single out certain members of staff but that would not have been fair as they were ALL exceptional. The rooms were very well appointed and spotless with maid service everyday. The pool ares was well kept and their no towels on sun beds until 09.00 ensured there were plenty of beds to go around. We went for 5 nights all-inclusive and every meal was excellent with so much choice. If you are looking for an exceptional holiday very nicely situated I think we have found you the ideal place. Cleanest hotel in Europe I've ever stayed in. Cleaning staff deserve a pay rise. Fab position, five minutes from the beach. Good food. Very quiet although only five minutes walk if you want to be in the heart of Cala Bona with lovely harbour. Only negative for me was lack of entertainment. Fabulous week with exceptional weather. Would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from a great 4 night stay at the Globales Cala Bona. It was myself, partner and 6 month old baby. Location The location is great. Walking distance to the nearby centre where there are lots of bars, shops, restaurants etc. All relatively flat which is great for a pram. Food We felt the food was great quality and plentisome. Some reviews are critiquing the lack of choice etc but we found there to be lots of choice (as long as you're not an overly picky eater). Presented lovely. We had breakfast, lunch & dinner. Room The room was beautiful and immaculate. The whole hotel is immaculately clean. The room was spacious. We asked for a lower level room as we had the pram and this was honoured. I emailed the hotel beforehand about providing some bottled water as we were arriving at 12am and I'd need to feed the baby and they very kindly provided some for our arrival. Pool The pool does get busy but we had no trouble getting beds (in fact we had the same beds for our whole stay). The beds open at 9, and even though lots to queue, you don't have to. The beds didn't really get full until gone 10/11. I did queue for beds about 8.50am but this is only because I wanted to get beds near the baby pool and on the end (space for the pram). The baby pool was lovely. The pool area did lack atmosphere though. Vibe I would say the hotel is suited more towards older guests, or families. There isn't very much there in the form of entertainment (3 times a week) but it didn't bother us too much. If it was just me and my partner or if I were with friends I'd have wanted a little more liveliness. Staff We found on the whole the staff to be friendly and attentive. The reception staff were exceptional (Kasey who checked us in was great). Some of the bar staff weren't really very friendly and sometimes felt as if it was a chore to serve you. The dining staff were great, cleared plates immediately and were friendly. Service As we arrived at 12am we were very happy to be served a cold plate of snacks which was much appreciated after a flight. This was also the case when we were leaving the hotel at 6.40am for breakfast. All in all we had a great stay and we would return with our baby, but maybe not as a couple.

We recently visted Globales Cala Bona Suites, checking in on June 21st 2025. We'd booked a Suite Terrace and were allocated room 122. Although the room was spacious, clean and modern, the balcony was minute and was in full shade by 3PM, much to our dismay. We spoke to Reception who to their credit were able to offer us an alternative room, although it meant a 4 day wait to switch (to room 123). Food - we spoke to numerous people who told us the standard of food had dropped from recent years. However, my fianceé and I both found every meal to be tasty, plentiful and well cooked. Drinks - the strength of the drinks was found to vary widely from day to day depending on who was serving. The system ran by the hotel worked well, with customers having to take their empty beakers to the bar to claim another drink. Staff - the majority of staff were found to be really pleasant and smiley. Rooms - as stated, the room we were initially offered was unacceptable. If you have the option, go for room 124 - the balcony's amazing. Summary - Globales Cala Bona Suites is well situated, well appointed and ran by nice people in the majority. The levels of cleanliness are superb. However, Cala Bona isn't the prettiest of resorts in our opinion and certainly not the cheapest, very much on par with the UK. Would we return? Probably not.

Exceptionally clean hotel lovely big rooms variety of lovely food all staff very friendly and helpful would definitely go back and would recommend to family and friends

Cannot believe the negative comments some people you will never please. Lovely clean hotel lovely friendly staff. Rooms and towels cleaned daily. Pool lovely and warm. Entertainment twice weekly . Food was lovely a good variety prawns fish meat etc. I had a bottle left in my room for my birthday lovely touch. No entertainment for kids. A lot if middle aged people here but also families. Close to beach and shops but quiet. Short trip to cala minor we walked it 8 mins. Went to caves but not that good . Overall would recommend the hotel only negative was drinks were not cheap if not all inclusive and a/I did not get many drinks either I heard some complain !!

I visited in June with my partner and family and had a great experience. The food was great and the room was very spacious. Both the hotel and the room was also spotless during the whole stay. All hotel staff where very friendly and I couldn't find a fault. After a successful engagement proposal a bottle of champagne was left in the room and was very appreciated. I would definitely return.

We have just spent a week at the Globales Cala Bona and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. All the staff are friendly,courteous and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. We chose the all inclusive package. Meals were served in the light & airy restaurant which offered a variety of food options to suit most palettes. The Suit Terrace we had been allocated was huge. It included a separate lounge area large terrace with a whirlpool,day bed & sun loungers. Dressing gowns & slippers plus the replenishment of the mini fridge with soft drinks & fresh fruit delivered every day was much appreciated too. There was entertainment provided in the lounge area on several nights and there is a indoor pool sauna & steam room downstairs. All in all the Hotel is a marvelous choice to enjoy all that the beautiful resort of Cala Bona has to offer

Having arrived on the 21st of April and with our departure on the 28th fast approaching, I can wholeheartedly echo the sentiments of the previous review. The Globales Cala Bona Suites continues to impress. Its location truly is a gem, with the inviting Cala Bona beach just a short stroll away – we've certainly made the most of it! Our suite is just as described: spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. After a day of exploring or relaxing, returning to such a well-maintained space is a real treat. The pool area remains a tranquil haven, exactly as pictured, and has been ideal for unwinding in the warm Spanish sunshine. The staff continue to be a highlight of our experience. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request have truly enhanced our stay. It's clear they are dedicated to ensuring every guest has a wonderful time. We've also been very pleased with the variety and quality of the food on offer. There's always a tempting selection, catering to different tastes, and we've certainly enjoyed some delicious meals here. Our time at the Globales Cala Bona Suites has been absolutely fantastic, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Majorca. We're already looking forward to the possibility of returning in the future!
