Hotel Club Calimera es Talaial in Cala d'Or

Family friendly hotel, had a great time here. Good value for money.
Food as you would expect for all inclusive. Rooms in need of some TLC.
Swimming pools were fab.
Shout out to Jimmy and Leni from the animation team and Ramon at the bar.
All staff very friendly and so helpful.
They even sorted out a birthday cake for my nephew and we had a reserved table for the evening meal, decorated with balloons.
Would definitely return and recommend

Affordable hotel with amazing staff. For the price that we paid the food was tasty and everybody could choose what they like. Only two small points for improvement the breakfast could be more varied and the bedrooms need some maintenance. We spent really great time with my family in this hotel.

We just got back from vacationing at this hotel and we had a great time. The pools were great, especially the adults only chill out pool. The staff were brilliant and always happy to help if required. The food was typical all inclusive. We would definitely come here again.

We had a lovely stay at Club Es Talaial. Staff were friendly and the cleaning was always on point. Food was very good with plenty of choice, and the team were excellent when we asked about avoiding pork for our family. There were lots of alternatives, including turkey and chicken, so everyone ate well.

Special thanks to the chef who found us a ready-made spicy sauce in a bottle. One small suggestion: add a fresh spicy sauce at the buffet. Some of us like a little kick, and a small “spice corner” would make us very happy.

The pools and splash area were clean and fun, with kids’ refreshments available through the day. It felt easy with children and worth the money.

Even when our Friday plans were disrupted by a shuttle error for Saturday’s airport transfer, the hotel reception team were very helpful. They kept chasing the transfer company and helped us get it sorted, even though it wasn’t the hotel’s mistake. We appreciated that support.

Overall, a very good family hotel. We would happily come back.

Myself and my family have just returned from a one week stay in your hotel. We had a really lovely time and hope to return next year with some of our friends and their families. I am on a list waiting to receive availability for next year. I could not fault the hotel or staff, everyone was friendly and happy to help when needed especially the reception staff! The hotel itself is spotless and the rooms are cleaned regularly. We landed the perfect apartment on the bottom, right facing the main pool which was ideal for us to keep an eye on the kids as we could see the tennis court/football pitch and playground from it. The food options varied but we always found something we liked, the pancakes at breakfast were a hit! The animation team are a 10/10 they kept the kids entertained all day long with numerous activities. I only had one issue and it was with the gym onsite, it is not clear that the gym is closed to the hotel guests on a Monday so I went to train as I did every other day and a rude women who I think is the floor manager came over to me and embarrassed me in front of her gym members, stating I should read the website beforehand rather than just assume. I didn’t question for one second that the hotel guests would not have access to the gym for one day a week (Monday) of all days! I was embarrassed and had to leave the gym. I just don’t think there was any need for her to approach me like that. I got the impression over the week that I trained in the gym that she did not like or want the hotel guests using the gym as I did see her be rude a couple of times to other guests. Other than this issue we had a wonderful holiday :)

Just returned from a 6 day trip 2 adults 3 children . We had the most amazing time.we had 3 children with additional needs so booked a private transfer 1 hour with roig taxis 125 euros .waited at airport . We are a happy go lucky family and to be honest we just want a clean bed to sleep and good food !! Apartment, 1 triple bed 3 single couches only sheets for duvets which now I understand is because of the heat 🥵 Me and my best friend loved the food put 3 stone on in a week lol 😆...fresh meat fish everyday and puddings and salads 🥗..the food was incredible and the puddings,especially breakfast pancakes ect.....however not for neuro spicy kids ...they always have pizza chips nuggests at meal times so there never hungry 😋 just not much variety . However from 11 to 5 they can have pizza toasties hotdogs burgers chips ice creams and slushies. THE STAFF ARE AMAZING 👏 🤩 DINNER POOL ,ENTERTAINMENT, THEY WORK SO INCREDIBLY HARD...you can always get drinks food n alcohol any time just from different areas !!! And the beach is 30 seconds away ,not much sunbed wars to be fair We went to cala grand beach ⛱️ 8 euros each way was beautiful. We're booking next year It all depends on expectations..they exceeded our expectations and for what I paid ...I feel the staff do not get paid enough...we're a haven butlins sort of family ..but never again Thankyou to all the staff we had an amazing time you all work sooooo hard and are always happy 😊 Evan exhausted xxxx

Just got back from a lovely week with my husband and 3 children, 9, 6 and 2. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you have children, the pools were amazing! There is a splash pad, a small pool with a slide, a bigger pool with small slides and another big pool for swimming with a slope built in so there is a shallow part. The only negative about the pool area is the floor is very slippy, especially by the splash pad, we saw a boy slip and cut his chin open, my youngest was fine with her pool shoes on and my other two were careful not to run. The staff were all very friendly, the entertainment team were great. There is a kids disco at 8.30pm, followed by a different show/quiz, this is on every night apart from Mondays. The all inclusive was great, we all found something to eat each day, some of the food was really good. The kids loved the pancakes and fruit at breakfast, plenty of selection each meal time. They also loved the snack bar throughout the day and ice cream machine. The cocktails were good as well! We had a standard apartment which I was worried about after reading the reviews but it was perfect for us and clean and tidy when we arrived, only complaint was the floor felt a bit greasy when we arrived, could have been cleaned better but didn't look dirty. We didn't spend much time in the apartment though. Great location, beach is just over the road and town is a couple of minutes up the road. We also caught the ting ting train to Cala d'or which was about €14 each way for all 5 of us and there is the marina which is a 10/15 minute walk away. Overall, we all had a great time and the kids didn't want to leave!

We came for a family holiday with our 8 and 6 year old sons. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone having a holiday with children! There is plenty of entertainment for the children with 3 swimming pools, sports pitches, a play area, and a number of lovely beaches in close proximity. My children were never stuck for other children to play with and it was wonderful to see them all playing football together. There's also a lovely adult-only chill out area and spa. The absolute icing on the cake though is the amazing staff! Everyone is wonderfully friendly and happy to help. We look forward to repeating our trip in the future!
