Globales Palmanova in Palma Nova

My wife and i went to this hotel last year (2025) and had a great time so we booked for this year .The hotel is clean and well represented and the staff are polite and cheerfull.But this year the hotel was invaided by large hen parties and birthday groups .These groups were loud ,day and night and took over the dinning areas and pool areas there was constant noise all the time due to them all being drunk . Shouting in the corridors at 2 and 3 in the morning .We will not be coming back again .We aired our disapointment to jet 2 also.

Not 4 star .. overall the hotel was ok but it definitely is not 4 star. Arrived to find room not ready ( ok I can accept that as check in was from 3 pm). Lift was painfully slow so we ended up lugging 2 heavy suit cases up to the 3rd floor. The room was nice but on closer inspection still dirty I ended up cleaning tea stains off the wall myself which then ment I went and wiped other surfaces down. The cleaning did improve over the week. We realised that night the walls between rooms were paper thin. We were next to a young family whose youngest ( about 3) was screaming the place down most nights at 3am!! I am a Nan so I don’t mind kids but this was a joke I realise kids on holiday can be difficult but every night and the parents didn’t seem to be bothered about it.. this is not something I wanted to hear… lesson learnt will be going adults only next time… The food was normal all inclusive type so I would say it was acceptable. But the dinning room is more like a cafeteria and really nosey with tables to close. We had the VIP upgrade which was worth it as it was adults only. Palma Nova is a nice resort and I would recommend using public transport to go into palma and other destinations on the island..but if u want a peaceful break don’t stay here.. but I suppose if u have a young family it’s ideal

I have just returned from this hotel after 5 nights. The rooms are very clean, and pool area is lovely, and location to the beach, shops and restaurants is really good but I encountered several issues during my stay. First night I had a cockroach run out from one of the towels in bathroom. The walls are so thin in this hotel, could hear everything in the next room, from music playing loudly, talking and what they had on tv. The doors along corridor was constantly banging, or people knocking on people's doors next door. My friends were also stopping at this hotel, and also had problems with noise through the walls. I didn't really get any rest, and was glad to come home. Food - I am not fussy about food, but this hotel food was not 4 star standard, I stopped in a 3 star in ibiza last year and it was so much better than here. Hardly any food was labelled either, so you didn't know what some of it was. And food was only luke warm, not hot enough for me. The one day I went to eat a chicken skewer from the grill but didn't look cooked properly, so never ate it. I found the lack of information around the hotel annoying, I didn't even know where the restaurant was the first day as no one told me, and there is no signs to say either. Pool bar - the queue is ridiculous for drinks, only 1 person serving, but be awful in higher season. The soft drinks machine needs to be on self service , which would eliminate some of the queue. The food at pool bar was acceptable but always had birds on it where the salads and dessert was. Entertainment programme needs to be improved too. So overall not a great stay and I personally wouldn't go back, but I spoke to loads of people who were returning customers.
