Elba Sunset Mallorca Thalasso Spa in Palma Nova

Spending the holidays at the Elba Sunset was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is spectacularly perched on a cliff between Magaluf and Palmanova, and the sea view from the Deluxe Artemis-category room was simply breathtaking. Sunsets right from the balcony – priceless.

The room was tastefully and modernly furnished, very clean, with a comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, bathrobe, and slippers included. The breakfast buffet is a highlight: a huge selection, all fresh and high-quality. The rooftop pool is an experience in itself!

The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. The only slight drawback: the spa is nice, but a bit small for the price. And beach lovers should know that the nearest sandy beach is a few minutes' walk away – there's only a rocky access to the sea directly at the hotel.

Enjoyable stay and very good sea view!

The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The setting was beautiful. The breakfast offered a wide selection and was very good. The parking was too expensive, so finding a space nearby wasn't easy.
The soundproofing in the rooms was average, and the bathroom and shower were too small. A second sink would be better.
Overall, it was clean, but the cushions on the outdoor chairs could use a wash.

Overall a great stay at the Elba Sunset hotel. The view is great and staff are friendly. The layout of the toilet and bathroom is a little bit off with doors blocking each other if opened. The hotel has a stunning view of the sea but a little far off town.

The sea view is nice and the facilities are relatively new. The toilet is too small and the door design is unreasonable. The room cleaning is also average. The toilet paper ran out on the first day and was not replenished for the next three days, and no water was provided. It is far from the city, suitable for self-driving and lying flat. There are no buses nearby, and the transportation is not very convenient.

Wow, where to begin. My husband and I brought our 3 year old to Mallorca after moving half way across the world. It was our first break from craziness in a year, and we were lured by the direct flight from our city to visit Mallorca for a week after Christmas.  I found the Elba Sunset after doing a bit of research on where to stay on the island. First, and most importantly, I want to say an immeasurable thank you to the entire staff of the Elba. When I say, I could not have imagined how relaxing, joyful, kind, thoughtful, and generous the staff of this establishment could be, I mean it. They are all truly, truly amazing. (Apologies in advance if names are spelled incorrectly!).I specifically want to thank Marta, Elise, Adrian, Christiane, Henry, Paula, Pedro, the whole cleaning staff, and truly every person I encountered there, for making this vacation, one we really desperately needed, so wonderful. Our son Hugo was embraced and coddled by everyone he met, and was completely accepted and showered with love wherever we went in the hotel. Speaking of the hotel. We were there in the off season, and I cannot recommend it enough. The stunning location, the sun, the bright spacious room with a beautiful sea view, the pool (albeit freezing...not that my husband and son cared!), the spa, and the restaurant overlooking the water. 100 out of 10 for the people who make the Elba Sunset the magical place that it is. This hotel is stunning. Its so bright and is surrounded by the sea. We had the best view from the jr suite. Watching the sunrise and set was breath taking. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and there were loads of shops, restaurants and bars around the hotel.

The hotel was fantastic, new, modern and clean! We had a Sea view room, which was incredible with amazing views. The room was cleaned and tidied every day, and was always spotless. The pool area is huge, with plenty of sunbeds. Bar staff friendly, and great cocktails. The hotel is in a great location, as it is only a 10 minute walk into the busy area of Palma nova, where there are plenty of great bars and restaurants. It is a bit of a steep walk back up the hill when you return, but nothing too strenuous! The hotel had ocean access via some steps, which was beautiful. We had a dip every day, and the water is crystal clear, and a great spot for snorkelling. Breakfast was great - huge selection! sweet, savoury, full English, Omelette station... it will not disappoint! We had rented a car for our trip, and always found space along the road outside the hotel, so never needed to use the hotels parking facilities which are charged at €17 a night! The only negative I could think of, which other reviews mention, is the lack of privacy in your toilet in your room, as it is just separated from the entire room with a frost glass door. no biggy, and certainly didnt put a dampener on our stay. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, we will 100% be coming back!

Amazing hotel with fabulous facilities. We took room 752 overlooking the pool and seafront. The room was spacious, spotless and had every need we could think of, especially the Nespresso coffee machine which went down well. We just loved sitting on our balcony watching the sunrise/sunset. We were b&b so couldn't comment on evening meals. Breakfast was plentiful, our favourites were the omelette and coffee stations. There is no way this is a 4 star, 5 star at the least.

Would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful hotel. You will not be disappointed.
