Tropico Playa in Palma Nova

This is an unsafe hotel where they give out room keys to random people when you are in bed!

I stayed at this hotel last year and have been in contact with the hotel every since to try and get this issue resolved. Unfortunately, the hotel have not taken responsibility for their actions and so I have to now write this review and I will be seeking further legal advice.

I stayed over with last year with my 3 year old daughter. During our stay, we got chatting to two people by the pool. On our last night, after specifically saying good bye outside the hotel to these two people and going to bed, they knocked on our door waking up me and my daughter in the early hours. I did not open the door specifically because I did not want to see these people ever again.

They then went down to reception and got a key from reception made for them and themselves into my room! They said while on my balcony eating crisps which the receptionist had got for them from the buffet, that they had been flirting with the receptionist. So they essentially flirted there way to a key for my room where me and my 3 year old daughter was sleeping and let themselves in at 3 in the morning!

The hotel have confirmed that a key was issued after we were in bed but said as there are no cameras in the establishment, they cannot prove that it was not me who got the key issued! THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THE ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL to prove this so it is my word against theirs. Why on earth would I make something like this up?

It appears, all you have to do at this hotel, is to flirt with the receptionist to gain access to any room. Absolutely despicable!!! Is this the case too if someone wants to steal from another guest room?

This hotel is unsafe and they do not take guest safety serious!

I will be looking into further legal help for this unacceptable breach.
