Hotel O7 Colombo in S'Illot

We stayed at Hotel O7 Colombo last summer with an all-inclusive package, and I have to say it was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The rooms were old and in poor condition, with furniture falling apart and the air conditioning barely working, making it uncomfortable to stay, especially during the hot afternoons. The bathrooms were especially bad, with no proper ventilation. Every time we used the toilet, the smell spread into the rest of the room, which was both unpleasant and embarrassing.

The food was another major problem. Most dishes were undercooked, and there seemed to be little care taken with hygiene. The drinks were terrible, tasting almost like sewer water, which made the all-inclusive aspect feel pointless. Even the supposedly “fresh” options at breakfast were unappetising and stale.

Not worth the money or time. The combination of poorly maintained rooms, disgusting food and drinks, lack of ventilation, and malfunctioning facilities made our stay miserable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even as a budget option, as there are far better alternatives in S'Illot that offer a safe, clean, and comfortable experience. This hotel needs a complete overhaul before it should accept guests again.

The only possitive aspect was the location.

- The food it was very bad during the first days. From one day to another they try to change but still not as expected for 3 stars all inclusive hotel. The guy in the reception called “Dani” is simply unprofessional and quiete rude. The mattress is not too comfortable and I can hear the springs when I move on it. There is no animation and the space on the bar area is really to small. Internet is necessary to pay and even if you buy in the website that mention free Wi-Fi if you discuss too much they offer Wi-Fi but define a velocity limitation for 4mb/s is just to shut you up.
