This hotel is spotless. The rooms, the pool areas, the common areas, the toilets, everywhere is spotlessly clean. Not even a blade of grass out of place. There is an onsite spa, and the location is a few moments walk to the beach. We originally paid for a b&b stay but after arrival paid to go half board. The food is magnificent! Plenty of choice, full of flavour and replenished often. The staff...
Just back from a short stay at this beautiful place. Needless to say, how lovely the CM Mallorca Palace is, as it is already fully booked a few months ahead. Wonderful staff, everybody speaks at least two languages. Professional and courteous. You can never see the cleaning staff, but the place is in perfect condition, clean and has a really relaxing feel to it. Rooms are spacious and immaculately...
We booked this hotel as a treat to ourselves and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were met by a member of staff who took our cases and brought them in to the hotel for us. Check in was great, asked to sit in the lounge with a drink and another member of staff came to us to check us in, another lovely touch! We were over the moon to know our booking of a double room had been upgraded to a suite...
CM Mallorca Palace is a fantastic hotel and definitely worthy of 5 stars. The location is great, a few minutes from the beach and local shops. All staff are friendly and helpful and the food really good quality. The hotel is so clean and the entertainment in the evening excellent. There are also exercise classes you can take part in and I particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics. Really enthusiastic...
Good hotel food, rooms and the staff make the holiday, also no fully inclusive so no drunks or noise. The young lady in charge is on the ball.
A wonderful quiet oasis of a hotel. Stayed for 1 week. It's adults only so the atmosphere was calm and sophisticated. The Hotel staff were amazing. Extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Excellent food with a wide variety of dishes. Excellent hotel, excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Wonderful. The room, the service, the view- the special anniversary champagne! Beautiful
Really beautiful old hotel with gorgeous views. The rooms are a bit dated but still clean and comfortable with a great shower. The balcony was a little disappointing - just two little metal chairs and no table. Some other balconies had tables but some looked broken; a lot of mismatched furniture. We walked everywhere from the hotel, but be warned it is a top a very big hill! Worth it for the views...
Check in staff very helpful
Room very nice
Went down for dinner only to be told that the restaurant was. Loses and we could have a Bar meal! Not what we expect from a 5 star hotel which it’s clearly not as there are no leisure facilities and only food available is bar food - very disappointing
The hotel and property were spectacular. I would highly recommend! My only issue was I wasn't able to set the thermostat to blow cold air; I tried all the settings and even placed it in auto mode. The room was a toasty 24 and it never went down from there, even when I tried setting it to 15. My wife also could smell cigarette smoke coming in our room when we had the windows open, clearly from other...
Amazing hotel
Amazing hotel with an amazing location. The room with an ocean view is worth the extra price. And the breakfast buffet is outstanding.
This was a lovely historic and very well appointed five star hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it. The breakfast was delicious too. The common rooms of the hotel are stately. And the bedrooms were very comfortable with gorgeous modern bathroom.

Went to Bankers Bar on Christmas Day. Freddy and team looked after us really well. Very friendly and helpful re choice of drinks and supper. DJ played cool music. It wasn't busy but for us it was great. Thank you Freddy and everyone. Fabulous service. Feliz Navidad and see you again. Cheers.
We had an amazing brunch at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambience was beautiful, and everything was perfectly done. Katherine was our server, and she was truly the best — attentive, kind, and made our experience even more special. Outstanding service all around. We can’t wait to come back.
Spectacular all around. Service as good if not better than any MO I have stayed at and MO sets a high bar in that category. Also the suites themselves look more like a high-end Manhattan condo than a hotel so the hard product is fantastic too. The best MO I have stayed at and easily one of the best hotels in Europe. I want to specifically thank Lucia and her team at the front desk for making what could...
We have had a wonderful stay at the hotel, which is a highlight in Spain. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming (always with a big smile), trying to understand our preferences and making our stay special! We could feel their care and thoroughness through the efficient services and some extra surprises e.g., a lovely paper craft flower with room service, a little cable tie, extra body cream...
The rooms are stylishly designed, the location is excellent, and it's connected to an art exhibition space. The public facilities are also quite good, and the breakfast is plentiful.
The room was rather small, and the window wasn't in a good position. The reason I felt it was just average is probably because others could get this room type for less money. As for the service, it wasn't as outstanding as typical Asian hotels. I had to manually pull out the door next to the Concierge room, and the Asian female staff member there didn't budge at all; this attention to detail was quite...

A top hotel in a top location.
The hotel is located on Plaza Cataluna: many shops, restaurants and souvenir shops nearby.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The room is great: spacious, beautiful and very luxurious.
The bathroom has a very spacious shower, a separate toilet and a sink with two faucets.
Security seems a bit lacking: we were able to walk straight to our room without anyone asking...
What a great hotel and attentive staff!
I stayed at a Deluxe terrace room, and it was the dream! Waking up to views of the iconic plaza Cataluña, Barcelona's modernist and Gothic quarters, Monjuic, and even the sea, whilst enjoying my morning coffee was priceless!!
The rooftop terrace was really good, and the hotel has all the amenities I needed and more!
Really nicely decorated rooms too, and super...
The hotel’s location is excellent.
The food is great.
The room size is excellent.
There is a bidet shower in the bathrooms 👍
But the room insulation is very bad and you can hear everything around you.
The elevator is extremely slow.
The bed was dirty, and they don’t change the bedsheets.
The air conditioning is a disaster and doesn’t work properly at the current temperature.

I would like to start with thanking the great staff at this hotel “front desk, room service, sky bar” for their hospitality and understanding. When I checked in my room, it was near the elevators which I did not like however they changed it the next day. The room is big and clean.
The hotel is well decorated and we enjoyed the stay.
Parking fee is expensive for the location, you can find a free parking spot outside and it’s safe.
Lovely hotel only a little far from the city. Would return.
Classy hotel, located in a quiet location. It features big rooms, big bathrooms and a nice eating area. Only 3 stars because of the paying parking (11 euros per day) and rather high breakfast price (20 euros per person).
Positives:
- The hotel lobby is very luxurious!
- pool is nice.
- room is spacious
- very friendly personnel.
Negatives:
-Location is far from the center with very poor bus connections.
- Very basic amenities in the room, if you need extras you have to go to the reception.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service in the Face of the Unexpected
My stay at Hotel Villa Real in Madrid was nothing short of impressive, and what truly sets this hotel apart is how they treat their guests when things don’t go perfectly.
During my visit, there were unforeseen construction issues and road work outside the hotel, which were completely outside of the hotel’s control. Situations like this...
Beautiful hotel with super welcoming staff. They have gone above and beyond to meet our needs, moving my parents into less noisy room due to nearby construction and upgrading them with no cost. They also welcomed us with beautiful chocolates and water out of a a glass bottle in our rooms, which I really appreciated because of the dangerous from microplastics in plastic bottles. The bathtubs are amazing...
This was a great place to stay! In the heart of the museum triangle and walking distance to the Literary District and Plaza Mayor. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly (you can even borrow a plug converter when you forget yours). Will be staying there again the next time we visit Madrid.
Great Hotel in a very good location close to good stuff. Great restaurants, museums, walking areas, downtown, embassies, etc. staff is attentive & welcoming. The Sweet corner was a big hit for my daughter. She absolutely loved the pillows in the room & bed was comfortable. Will be back if visiting Madrid.
In 50 plus years of traveling. Our stay was the finest experience ever. This is due in great part to the amazing staff who continuously go above and beyond to address the needs of guests. The family room was quite nice except for the steps, not recommended for those with mobility issues. Derby hotels has a clear winner with villa real. It made our Madrid experience all the more special. Thank you
We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little overpriced, but that is to be expected. The location was excellent. It took about 5 minutes to get from the train station by taxi. Everything was easy walking distance, especially the Prado and the Royal Palace. Don't miss the hotel museum, it's right behind the front desk. Great...

The room was very noisy i can hear everything outside the room, i requested i big taxi from the hotel to pick me up to the airport and it wasn't there the day of the flight, ordered the bell boy to take my luggage down and didn't arrive so i took them down by myself.
The service on the rooms was a little slower than usual, no turn down service on the whole stay
Bless is a wonderful hotel and centrally located. Always love staying there. The staff is welcoming and always help you with questions or suggestions. I highly recommend staying there when visiting Madrid.
Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Will stay again next time in Madrid.
Many problems , first the room I was put initially was the bathroom full of insects, the rugs and sofa dirty, the second one they said was an upgrade witch I know it wasn’t , we did not like the service terrible staff the same , will never go back.

Great location, only a 7-8 minute walk to the Alhambra. The restaurant also has beautiful views and the hotel has an Arabian feel to it. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are showing their age. The restaurant staff were very friendly, but the front desk seemed a bit indifferent, possibly due to a high number of guests checking in.
So, so satisfied! Definitely book a city view room; the view alone is worth the price. I initially booked a larger, newly renovated room, but when I got in, it faced the street, and the bathtub was visible to passersby. I negotiated a change to a smaller room with an older bathroom, but the city view was amazing, and it even had a small balcony where you could stand outside and look around. It was...
overall, it is a 4 out of 5 experience
Overall, the property is beautiful and the old palace aesthetic fits perfectly within Granada. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, pleasant views, and high-quality, upscale bathrooms.

This is a 5 star hotel on all aspects other than 3 very important ones.
1: There is no gym or weight room. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this size.

Excellent hotel, in a great location. All staff a very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds and choice of pillows. Will definitely choose Vincci again.
The staff were very patient. When we checked in and found the heating wasn't working properly, the front desk immediately arranged for staff to help us move our luggage and change rooms. Furthermore, breakfast was available à la carte without extra charge. It's a hotel worth recommending.
The hotel has a good location, and the breakfast is decent.
The location is excellent, the balcony is a highlight, and the room is well-ventilated.

Firstly, I would say this hotel is on the lower end of 5 star and isn't on the same level as some of the other nearby luxury hotels. However, it is priced considerably cheaper so I would consider it more of a great 4 star. It is not fair to compare it to other 5 stars in the area that are charging 500+ a night.

Our stay at Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur was mixed and, unfortunately, fell short of what we would expect from a five-star hotel.

Luxurious hotel in a perfect location. The staff is very kind and helpful. The buffet is amazing, specially the breakfast. There are also good restaurants nearby and many shops. We enjoyed the room “in the Villa”. The balcony and the terrasse are perfect for watching the sunset. It is definitely the place to stay in Costa Adeje.

Rooms were big and fairly clean. However lacking in a lot of amenities such as tissues (they give you a small packet with about 3 tissues!), no garbage can in room (just a tiny one in bathroom), no courtesy bottled water. The breakfast was average but only one coffee machine so there’s long line up’s.
We had a wonderful visit. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, in particular Christian Perez who was the receptionist on duty when we arrived. Despite not having booked, and they were hosting 2 different events at the time of our arrival, the reception staff managed to organise with chef to provide dinner for us.
The Hotel Alameda Palace in Salamanca is an old and very opulent hotel in the heart of the city. While most of the hotel is very beautiful and opulent, small things like door locks and lifts are not up to scratch. There are plenty of attentive staff and rooms are clean.
The Alameda Palace was a downhill, 11-minute walk from the station and, generally, offered a great location. Entering the lobby is like stepping into the Ritz Carlton: Lots of gleaming brass, deep red and black tones set the mood of an old-fashioned hotel, accented by chandeliers.

The room size didn't match what was advertised when I booked, but the front desk said it was the same room type, just a different room. I didn't have time to wait at the hotel for a room change, so I ended up not switching. The hotel's location is great, making it easy to visit all three Gaudi masterpieces. However, the bathroom drain was slow.
Facilities: The shower design is truly something else. When I walked in, I noticed the wooden floor was already warped. Sure enough, after a shower, water flooded everywhere. Everything overflowed. It would have been a disaster if I had left my luggage nearby. Also, previous reviews mentioned the hotel provided slippers and disposable toothbrushes. We stayed in February 2026 and only found slippers...
Great location with its own parking. You can even catch a glimpse of the Sagrada Familia's spires from here. The only minor drawback is the lack of opening windows and balconies. It's very close to Casa Batlló, just a few minutes' walk away.
As the last hotel on our Spain trip, the Eurostars hotel was unfortunately very noisy, probably due to its location at a crossroads. It wasn't just the traffic outside; the sound of guests walking and talking in the corridors was also loud, and the soundproofing was poor. I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers. The room windows couldn't be opened either, but luckily I brought my own humidifier...
The location is perfect, with excellent security and within walking distance of major tourist attractions like Casa Batlló. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and I really loved it. The shampoo and conditioner provided were also very good, which was a nice bonus.

A touch of luxury in a quiet part of the island. Everything you require is there.Transport (buses) within a few minutes of the hotel.
The hotel was beautifully renovated and are very pleasant. Big bathrooms with separate shower and toilet plus bathtub. We had a balcony with a lovely view too. Concierge team was helpful and responsive. Overall service at the hotel is consistently great showing that the property is well Managed. If you are looking for a nice break not too far from Palma but yet an easy drive to the pretty local...
We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The grounds are immaculate and you are literally steps away from a dip in the sea. Two beautiful pools. Always plenty of sun beds and a waiter service for drinks. The hotel is very cleverly laid out - every room overlooks the sea (the negative reviews are very pedantic) and are set back from each other and very private. Only two minor grumbles: we felt that...

V ery good localized hotel near golf course with tasty food and good kitchen. Friendly personal and good wellness. rooms are spatious an clean .
We had a wonderful stay! The service throughout the hotel was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the entire experience feel truly relaxed.
The golf courses were in excellent condition, beautifully maintained and a real pleasure to play. The only small downside was that pros can book tee times only one day in advance, which makes planning a bit challenging.
Overall, everything else was...
Room were a bit dated, but comfortable and had everything you could need. The pool and grounds were clean and very relaxing. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. What lowers the score was the spa. I had a pedicure which was over twice the cost of a pedicure at a good salon. She said she didn't have time for a gell pedicure so I went with the regular one. The end result looked like something...
We had a very warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival and throughout our stay all of the staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and happy. Our room was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay. The food in both restaurants at the hotel was to a high standard with more than enough choice on both menus. Well done to all the team members. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
Our stay at the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella was perfect from start to finish. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and had not one but two balconies! We had a lovely view of the pool and the perfectly manicured grounds, which made it feel like a true escape.
The hotel itself is upscale and elegant, with every detail thoughtfully cared for. The location was convenient, and parking...
A nice hotel in a relaxed neighbourhood with beautiful golf courses around. The staff were overall great. It was a shame that the indoor spa/pool was being renovated. Some of this construction work was happening right next to the outdoor pool of the hotel, so some days it did not make a relaxing experience.
The hotel can be improved with the following:
- the menu prices at the pool are extortionate...
