We stayed here from 22nd December 2025 until 12th January 2026. The check-in was very friendly and attentive with a nice glass of cava on arrival. We had requested a high floor and west (sunset) facing room, we were given a high floor but an East facing room overlooking the Children's pools and slides. The food was very good. The staff were also good. The room and facilities are very dated - in urgent need of renovation and not what I would expect from a 5*. Our room had multiple issues including leaking shower and loose bathroom fittings.

The room was spotless and the staff did a fantastic job. However a big tree took much of the seaview in room 3112.

Fine and clean hotel with great views, good food, and a pleasant staff. Ideal for a relaxing break. Our only negative - the sunbeds were wet one morning and remained so during the day. But all else was great.

The accommodation was nice and beautiful, close to various places and convenient for travel. The only downside was the breakfast; there wasn't much variety, it was repetitive. For the last two days, my boyfriend and I didn't go down for breakfast. We ate outside instead.

The resort was lovely, and the staff made the experience even better. As vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety at the buffet and how accommodating the chefs were. Beautiful area for walks, and with plenty of activities, we were never bored during our 7-day stay.

We’ve had an incredible week stay. The facilities are great with lots of things to do. The big pool and gym were particular hits. Second time staying here and room is spacious and well designed. Facilities are a bit aged but well maintained. Swimming pools are clean and not crowded in February. Plenty of restaurants in the hotel and nearby. Friendly staff and decent services.

The place is good. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities a good for kids and families. It is a distance away from central Marbella which is both good and not-so-good if you don’t have your transport. Taxis could be good option if you’re not renting a car (which we did). Parking is free for guest which is a big bonus.

It was our third stay at the hotel. Unfortunately on this stay we had cockroaches in our room. Our room was on level 1 (Ground Floor). I spoke to the hotel manager who said he was aware of the problem and he had employed a pest control firm to try and eradicate the problem. Shame they don’t supply complimentary water in the rooms, plus slippers would have been appreciated as nights were pretty cool and walk across cold floor was not that pleasant! The highlight of my stay at the hotel was having night drinks at the hotel bar, where I was served by Carlos. I tremendously enjoyed our conversations and the drinks he prepared. When I asked about the origin of some of the gin, he immediately brought out a beautiful book on the subject, showed it to me, and answered my questions as I flipped through it. This hotel is very nice. It has a big swimming pool which is indoors and outdoors ,and since we were travelling with kids it was a favourite for them. The buffet is worth it because of the great food and chef making food like eggs right in front of you. Great comfy rooms with large king bed. Plus one for amenities generally. Minus point for shower button which was broken and service staff which we found to be not too hospitable when we inquired about why the rooms were 19 degrees C and were freezing. Little far from centre but there’s a nearby bus stop for convenience.

Nice break with good service Clean and comfortable. The Royal Level separate areas were really nice and had great service with a really good choice of drinks on all inclusive. Only downside was that the drinks fridge wasn’t refilled at any point and the other restaurants weren’t included on the all inclusive package.

We upgraded to a junior suite which made our stay. Staff are really friendly and everything was spotless. Although there were always sun beds available we noticed people had their favourite spot by the pool so would often ‘save’ their sun beds from early in the day. Second visit to this hotel. Reception facilities and check out all good. Used the Iberostar ap whilst there and found it very good. We could keep a check on our additional spending, check activities, look at all the restaurants and bar menus- so very useful. We are in all of the restaurants except the Cartaria. Good location, 10min walk to the park entrance. Gold river is 5min closer but seems services in this one are better. Good value for the breakfast buffet. Big rooms for families.

We stayed at this hotel with our family as we visited Port Aventura park. The hotel bed linen smelled very bad and the towels in the shower were not extremely clean as someone would expect. Very, very nice place for family with kids but not only. If you plan to come, buy entrance at least for 6 days. We all had so much fun.

An amazing adventure park compared to American amusement parks. This one was large, clean and well maintained! Rides were fun but I do recommend buying the PortAventura Express pass to skip the lines!
