Hotels on first line in Salou

Recently got back from this hotel last week, the rooms are clean and dining area is clean! The only bad things are that the pool area looks nothing like the pictures, there is too many chairs next to the bar area then there is sun beds all seemed all over the place and was hardly anywhere to go in the sun

Pool is fairly small but the area around it is quite large and always found sunbeds or tables and chairs. Bar was never crowded, helped by being able pour your own drinks

Room overlooking the pool was large considering previous reviews saying how small they are. Thanks to Alicia on floor two for keeping our room clean and refreshing towels etc

Those made in front of customers were mostly realy good and hot. Those displayed in containers were mostly cold. Very good seafood and freshly made salads. In general, the food very bland

All in all a very nice stay, and would definitely return. But maybe not all inclusive, the only reason being the incredible amount of places to eat and drink in Salou

All inclusive was great, food selection I thought was really varied to be honest with plenty of choice and something different everyday

There are no Uber taxis here and the local taxis are more expensive than other parts of Spain, I’d say twice as expensive but the bus is a very cheap way to get about

Absolutely fantastic hotel,the rooms are spotless all the staff were fantastic entertainment 10 out of 10,and the food is litrualy amazing!ohh and the the pool on the roof terrace and the summit terrace bar is litrualy spectacular,it's luxury is a I personally think this hotel should be a 5*

There’s a pizza restaurant straight across the road that does take away pizzas and today we tried the gluten free one, it was delicious so I recommend going sometime

I travelled with my teen and felt very safe. I wish that I’d booked for two weeks but we will definitely be back again soon

and when we reported it to reception they investigated it but the cleaning staff just denied it. The receptions solution to the problem was we you should put all valuables in the safe

but if you notice I only give it 4 out of 5,purely because the house keeping staff stole money that was actually in a hand bag in my room

But not cheap if you travel ex-package. Only downside was pricey unsecured parking. Fantastic location, just by the sea

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Blaumar in Salou. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean, which made for a really comfortable stay

I liked this place as a family oriented, clean, fresh and roomy hotel

That said, there are plenty of staff on hand to help, and the beach is very close by, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a good hotel with just a few minor things that could make it even better

We travelled with a 2 year old, the hotel kids swimming pool was very shallow, what gave us a lot of peace of mind, we are dairy intollerant and the breakfast was fully well stocked with Oats milk, dairy free and Soya milk options

Nicely laid out and well oriented, with nice spacious rooms, but please note I took the suite option with balcony terrace, so please check your room choice. Buffet wasn't just varied, it was well presented and prepared

The food was good with a decent variety, which worked well for both adults and children. Snacks available at the bar under the all-inclusive package were a bit limited, but still perfectly fine overall

The rooms were fairly basic, but they were spotlessly clean, which was the most important thing for us when travelling with young children

All of the staff were friendly and very helpful whenever we needed anything, and the local businesses in the area were also lovely and welcoming

Rooms are good enought,nice and clean with good swimming pool view. Staff are very friendly? Food-amazing? Loads of attractions for kids during the daytime and for evening also? Close distance to the beach,shops nearby

We stayed here last summer for our first family holiday with our 5 and 2 year old and had a really great experience

Snacks for all inclusive consist of cheese and ham or plain cheese toasty, chips, crisps, hotdog, burger, ice creams and nuts! The pool bar staff were amazing! Please ignore reviews saying otherwise… if you’re nice and polite to them then they will be the same back and vice versa! A lot of people were quite rude to them so I’m not surprised they get a frosty reception! We’re English and found the other...

You were able to swap lunch and dinner around so the nights we were going out for food we just had our lunch there which was good too. There were maids coming in the room everyday to clean up and provide fresh towels

Brilliant 4* hotel with fantastic buffet choices for food, Brilliant selection of snacks throughout the day and drink is all brand named so for a Perfect hotel in the all inclusive range is the absolutely stunning Salou this is you're hotel

I absolutely loved my stay here and was meant to return this year but sadly chose Benidorm. This year I'll be sitting with a absolutely beautiful Calippo slushie as I walk down the stunning beach

Hotel is within walking distance, and pretty much flat, to the following: Supermarket/shops (5-10 minutes) Beach (15 mins) Portaventura/Costa Caribe (20 mins) Cambrills (30-40 minutes) Rooms: Can be doing with a little updating

You are allowed Floaties/pool noodles/balls etc. When pool gets quite busy they asked you not to use very large floaties, which is understandable. Salou is a beautiful resort with lots to do if you want

Always plenty to eat with good variety. Sometimes food not as warm as I would like (I like food roasting hot). there is a microwave behind counter for use. Area around pool cleaned every morning

He is an absolute credit to your team. Wonderful people lovely rooms and atmosphere. Food was really great although the dining room can be very busy at times, we paid for full board and was so worth it

If you’re working with a budget don’t pass this place up it’s worthy of more than 3 stars

We had the big room with the terrace, it was spacious, and the view was great, it's top floor, but we still could hear the neighbors

I genuinely cannot give this hotel enough thanks for our stay, cleanliness is top tier

The staff are beyond incredible my partner was feeling under the weather one dinner time and I came down to have some dinner the gentleman who works in the restaurant Alex, noticed my partner wasn’t with me and he let me take up some food up to the room for him

Lots of lounge areas, everything is clean and air-conditioning in common spaces is great. Air-cons in the rooms are not so great, but still kinda ok

Convenient and quiet location. Super abundant breakfast with sweet and savory. Outside with swimming pool and sun loungers.

Food nice (2 fussy eaters and a vegan and catered for us all) rooms basic but cleaned daily. Great location if looking for a quiet spot

The entertainment was great and there is a lot to do during the day. The beaches aren’t dar but the nearby towns are quite a distance but are worth going to see

Hello! The hotel is old; it's located on the Cap d'Salou; the pool and bar are OK; it's clean, with a terrace. We only stayed for a few hours.

Staff so friendly lots of activities during the day including shooting, pool, water sports, yoga, table tennis, darts. Swimming pools big and lifeguard on duty

There is a bar by the pool along with pool tables, table tennis etc and served snacks all day (apart from lunch and meal times) and the staff were great! Entertainment: The entertainment staff were the best! There were different activities around the stage and pool during the day that catered for adults and kids

Had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Best Mediterraneo, From check to check we had nothing but an amazing time, Staff were absolutely fantastic during the whole stay, fresh food always on offer throughout all the dining times during the day, we booked to stay with our 6 month at the time and came prepared with a travel crib as we had heard no cots were provided, to our surprise a Crib was all made up...

If there was one thing that could be change would just be the pool being heated slightly, granted we visited back end of September through to October so wasn't expecting baking temps but the pool was an ice block at times xD

Everything was clean and nice, room was comfortable with a balcony and chairs to sit. Swimming pool was nice and we always could find beds to lay and tan. Good in the restaurant was fine

The staff are friendly, welcoming and approachable. The hotel was clean, modern and we had a great pool view room. We didn't try the food here so I can't comment on that but the hotel in general I would highly recommend

Overall would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a budget friendly hotel with excellent services and amazing facilities will definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks to all the hotel staff

5 mins walk to the beach. And the shops. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Pool is small but to be honest most hotels pools are small. Friendly staff. You will not be dissapointed

Only 15min from airport Reus by taxi €32 for 4 person.Good food and drinks, friendly staff,near sea 250 yards.

I booked this because it’s simply a room with a bed/shower and a balcony. I was there for a long weekend, and it was exactly what we needed. There was no hassle, and they kept us topped up with towels and it was clean

The location is superb, a few minutes from the lovely beach & or the main strip. TIP : We flew into Reus airport, just a 10 minute drive to Salou. saidnthe transfer from Barcelona was bit of a nightmare

I enjoyed my 4th night stay, the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable 5 minutes walk to the beach, beautiful surrounding atmosphere

We have just got back from a 4 night stay here and we had an amazing break ! The place is super clean, and for a 3 star we were impressed

We have just had 10 days at this hotel, when I read some of the reviews I was a bit sceptical as some of the reviews were not good!! I cannot believe what some people want !!! Yes it’s a 4 star which I would only give it a 3 star, but theses stars are given for facilities not standards

!! Cleaners come every day except Sundays , they did not replenish our toilet roils. I would come back again but select a different room

Central location with a generous sized room. The pool area is not fully exposed to the sun ( until later in the day) so lots of choice for a sunbed

Lovely hotel just off the main promenade. Food is above the normal standard I found with nice big croissants and a good selection of food. We stayed in a studio which had a kettle, hob and fridge. Would stay again.

Your room key is on a wristband and is a bizarre feature - the only disappointing element of the hotel

This is the only negative fir me, but it wasn't busy, so I followed the sun. Entertainment was great, pool games with both kids and adults through the day on and off, evening entertainment (a singer) in the evenings

The hotel (Best Los Angeles) generally looks good, 3. 5 star category, is located in a beautiful and quiet location, and all activities are close by as well as the beach, everything is a 5 minute walk

Room and the rest of the Hotel was spotlessly clean. We went on the last week of the season so the Hotel was quite quiet but there was some night-time entertainment still on

Ideally placed as you are 2 minutes away from many local bars and restaurants. The Beach is within walking distance as well even for someone with poor mobility like my Wife

I will write once again, this kitchen is a SHAME for the group of best hotels. This hotel is declared as a 4-star hotel, this is unacceptable, the food selection and quality are for a 2-star hotel

Cleaners are on it; room is spotless and fresh towels and bed every day- 5 star for the cleaning staff. Pool bar staff are friendly, snacks included are hot dogs, chips, ham & cheese toastie and burgers

NEGATIVE: the kitchen and the food!!!! That was ridiculous, and for a hotel from the Best Hotels group it is also SHAMEFUL!!! The breakfast was very very poor, and it was terrible that only one person works on the large 10 meter grill, and to get a simple omelette you have to wait 20 minutes

I was there 4 last nights untill it was closed for the end of the season. Food was good and not only cold as someone wrote. Everything is good with this hotel and I'm looking forward to return there next year

Rooms overlooking road were shady most of the day. Only criticism was our air con although working didnt throw out cold air. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Doors opened to pool area so towels werent on sunbeds at 6am

Hello! We stayed at this hotel from July 25th to August 5th, 2025! The hotel is very conveniently located, both to the beach and to the Bus Plana bus stop! It's also very easy to get to the amusement park and the airport! The service is also excellent! The staff is friendly and quickly resolves issues! Everyone goes out of their way! I definitely recommend it! A solid 4-star

The only thing to keep in mind is that if your room faces the pool, it can be a bit noisy in the evenings due to the music, so going to bed early might be tricky

Still had the problem of people laying towels out and disappearing for the day. Good entertainment throughout day and during evenings poolside with decent priced bar. Decent lifts in hotel, totally accessible throughout

Bus stop immediately outside hotel which takes you to Salou, Cambrils, Reus and Barcelona Airport. Great location hotel with eateries within 2 mins, shops and bars 5 mins walk and beach 10 mins walk

Pool - big pool with loads of sun beds, never had to fight for a space (we did go end of September so not sure if different in peak summer) our little one loved the little splash park

All inclusive - never waited more than 2 minutes for a drink, good selection of soft drinks and alcohol. Includes ice creams too which is great for the kids

Rooms - cleaned daily, modern, lovely bathroom, pushed our 2 double beds together so had a massive bed for the stay which was lovely! Cot for baby too

Food: worst part of the holiday was definitely the food, by day 3 we couldn’t stand the smell of it and had to eat out for the rest of the holiday

Cons!! Check in: 2 buses arrived at the same time so check in was at least 45 minutes long, no one extra on desk to help busy period

If your room isn’t ready, it’s 6€ per suitcase for a locker (people just leave them outside in the hallway to save paying)

Great hotel with lovely room's fabulous pool area, aways plenty of sunbeds never have to do the early morning dash as nobody puts towels on bed's to reserve, very quiet pool area to sit chill read & enjoy the sunshine

I had a fantastic time, can't fault it I had room 108 which was a single corner room lovely balcony overlooking the pool, shower red hot, bed very comfy, so clean and quiet, some guests were complaining about noise, I never heard a thing, reception staff very friendly, breakfast was typically Spanish the worst bacon I've ever tried to eat and all luke warm, substitute then bacon with ham stick it in...

Does exactly what is says on tin and you get what you pay for. The staff are very pleasant and it has a lovely pool area that is very clean and very well maintained

All round a good value Hotel in a quiet part of Salou , but it's only about a 15-20 walk to the Beach although the main strip is about 35 mins on foot

I stayed at the Hotel California Palace for 10 nights half board from late August to early September 2025, and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful

The food was good with great taste and variety at both breakfast and dinner. Pro tip: it’s in Spain so expect elements of Spanish food on the menu

The location was excellent, a short walk from the beach and benifited from good shade and sunshine areas in the lower pool, with the rooftop pool was for the sun worshipers

First mention to young Marco at reception, very polite & attentive, Mika & Albert both ran the restaurant very efficiently, especially when busy with large tables on week 2, Jose the bartender was always smiling and good at his job, the table service was also good especially during the evening entertainment, which changed each week, the daily activities ran by Christian & Andrea were such great fun...

We didn't want to leave our gorgeous room but we were upgraded to the top floor with an even bigger room and free passes to the spa. Food was diverse and very tasty, especially for a small hotel

Here for 21 nights half board with Tui, from the moment we checked-in until we checked out we have loved everything, reception, dining, daily activities and the evening entertainment, our room was cleaned daily and the linen & towels were also changed daily, the hotel is spotless everywhere

From the moment we stepped through the doors we were welcomed, and throughout our stay felt accommodated. The range of drinks (all inclusive) was excellent and of good quality

Our hotel room had nice views. Nice sea air. The staff was not particularly friendly. Most rooms only had multiple twin beds. Good location to beach and promenade and shopping and restaurants.

The location is ok plenty of shops nearby and a good few bars/restaurants, however it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the centre of salou which is very uphill, which wasn't a problem for us just something to be mindful about

After reading all the bad reviews I was expecting the worst, the hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious only down fall is not having much room to hang coats or clothes but other then that the room was great, good size balcony also

A great stay for myself and my friend, the perfect no-frills, well-located place for our stay! I think the price per night is incredibly reasonable and if I were to return to Salou again, I would definitely consider staying here again

Booked this holiday last minute and decided to go self catering. Arrived at 12pm but was aware check in wasn’t til 4pm however our room was ready so was a bonus for us. We was aware before arriving of the €200 deposit

From hotel to the beach is hard work with loads of steps to go down then back up again. 4 very happy pensioners who came home 2 days ago and have already booked again for next year

Entertainment every night, we especially enjoy Suzzi and Graham, in fact they are the main reasons we keep re-booking, excellent singers who draw in the crowd. Thank you Albatros, see you next year

Salou is lovely, the beaches are amazing with super clear sea! 🌊 Albatros is a really good base to get around. We visited Tarragona on one of the days using the Bus Plana

Room was spotlessly clean and with 2 double beds and a sofa bed we wasn’t short of sleeping options. Room was well equipped and had everything you need for self catering

All staff seemed friendly and the cleaners did a good job. Local singers in the bar at night for entertainment. Pool area well maintained although I do think it could get crowded in summer as the area isn’t too big

Breakfast was good with a good choice. The dining room never to busy and always clean, The staff were great, secure parking and a great location. Great value for money and will return.

Great location, family and pet friendly hotel

The hotel states it is pet friendly but it clearly is not as you are expected to leave your pet in your room if you wish to dine as they do not offer food service on the terrace or offer room service

They only have 1 person with 1 computer at the front desk. Not acceptable for a 4* hotel. I tried calling them for 10min before arriving, no one would pick up the phone

The receptionist was rude and unhelpful and the manager no better when he arrived. Parking is restricted on height
