I have stayed at the Best Tenerife hotel several times and I am very satisfied, so when I found a hotel in Salou from the Best Hotels group I was happy to choose this hotel.
The hotel (Best Los Angeles) generally looks good, 3.5 star category, is located in a beautiful and quiet location, and all activities are close by as well as the beach, everything is a 5 minute walk.
The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms are solid and comfortable.
Thanks to the staff for leaving us a plate of fruit and a bottle of champagne as a welcome.
NEGATIVE: the kitchen and the food!!!!
That was ridiculous, and for a hotel from the Best Hotels group it is also SHAMEFUL!!!
The breakfast was very very poor, and it was terrible that only one person works on the large 10 meter grill, and to get a simple omelette you have to wait 20 minutes.
The dinner....terrible!!!
On the main table only 1-2 types of main course.
The first type is meat, sometimes delicious, sometimes not, and the second type was the same every day, DISGUSTING fish in sauce... they prepare the leftover fish from the previous evening and lunch that way, in sauce... :)))
Around the two main courses 4 types of bad side dishes, and on the big grill ONLY ONE MAN prepares one type of the same boring food every day, where you also have to wait 20 minutes.
Salads very poor choice and when something runs out it is not replenished.
Desserts with very bad taste, and there was no ice cream fridge at all like in other hotels that have several flavors of ice cream...
Here there was a funny ice cream in small plastic cups (such is available in hotels with 1 and 2 stars), ice cream that does not taste of anything....
I will write once again, this kitchen is a SHAME for the group of best hotels.

Was a hotel of horror, first of all our room was situated very far away from the dining area and pool leading to a negative experience traversing the hotel.Furthermore the food was sub-par and frequently cold or inedible with many added fees for drinks.As well as this the room was dirty upon entry. The beds where very uncomfortable and the staff were not welcoming.The one redeeming factor was the light up balcony, The pool was always packed beyond beleif, would not reccomend anyone to stay there. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!

First time in Salou, stayed here three nights early October, would happily stay at this hotel again, no problems at all.

As repeated by many others the main issue that lets this Hotel down is the food. I have a varied appetite but found a few nights nothing was appeasing to the point we would walk in and see what was on offer and then leave and go to one of the many restaurants near-by. Room and the rest of the Hotel was spotlessly clean. We went on the last week of the season so the Hotel was quite quiet but there was some night-time entertainment still on. Ideally placed as you are 2 minutes away from many local bars and restaurants. The Beach is within walking distance as well even for someone with poor mobility like my Wife. If the Hotel could improve the food on offer then i would definitely have given it a higher score.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at the LosAngeles hotel.in Salou. Booked for 10 nights half board. When we arrived at hotel, was put in a room.oppppsite a night club. Blaring music coming from there until between12.00 between 4 am to 6 am. It spoilt my holiday. I ended up feeling ill with a cold and a bad chest. Probably due to lack of sleep.which affected my immune system. Tried to change my room every day for first 5 days, but was told by reception staff it was fully booked..Finally, I was moved on the 6th day. It was a quieter room but without a balcony. Far from a 4-star hotel. Way too crowded. The rooms are tiny — there’s barely enough space for your suitcases. The shower head in the bathroom was broken, which is ridiculous since they’re cheap to replace. Taking a shower was uncomfortable too: the glass partition was in the way, and you have to stand awkwardly in the bathtub — and with a broken shower head, it turns into quite a challenge, haha.
The hotel is located right in the city center, literally in the middle of everything. But don’t let that fool you — it also means you won’t get any rest. All the bars and clubs are right around the corner, and the loud music doesn’t stop until 6 AM. You might even come across drunk or high people stumbling around and bothering passersby.
The food at the hotel is disappointing. It’s neither tasty nor varied. They serve the same thing every other day, and although it’s a buffet, the selection is really poor. I even ended up with an upset stomach from eating the same repetitive meals every day.
Also, don’t be fooled by the pictures online — they’re very misleading. Since the hotel is part of the “Best Hotels” group, which is anything but “best,” I noticed that many of their hotels look almost identical inside and out. The photos you see might not even be from this specific hotel but from another one in the chain.
Overall, my rating is below average. I strongly recommend avoiding “Best Hotels".

I arrived here to celebrate our anniversary. I was greeted with a warm welcome and checked in quickly with no issues. I entered my room which was spacious, clean and a few free welcome drinks. The hotel is in a perfect location for entertainment, beaches and for local bus travel. This hotel offers no quality evening entertainment unless you wish to watch you tube style videos as a main act. One night offered dancing show which I thought wooo hooo we could watch some traditional dancing but to be greeted with hotel guest dancing to requested songs. The drinks at the bar choice on tap are ESTRELLA or sangria. The local cocktails and spirits are local but plenty of international drinks available. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful when needed. I had a problem in my room which was fixed immediately. The restaurant was my big issue due to the lack of quality choices and poor hygiene. The food does come out quickly. My partner as an allergic reaction to crustaceans and noticed most dishes contained fish. Due to poor food we ate out regularly which stopped us from going out on trips. My advice is for uk travellers only do room only board basis

Current on holiday at Best Los Angeles hotel and it’s ideal. Very clean hotel.
Took some time to get used to how things work- main thing is to sit and wait for drinks at lunch and evening as it is table service for drinks.
Restaurant manager Reyonso is lovely, and hard working. Restaurant staff are hard working and the show chefs are very friendly.
Cleaners are on it; room is spotless and fresh towels and bed every day- 5 star for the cleaning staff.
Pool bar staff are friendly, snacks included are hot dogs, chips, ham & cheese toastie and burgers. Not all alcohol is included, and cocktails are extra (around €3 so not terrible), but if you know your cocktails you can likely make your own with the alcohol available.
Entertainment at the hotel is showcased more to locals but Salou offers something for everyone. 5 minutes walk away is a lively area, 20-25 minutes walk away down the beach front is a quiet old town.
With my partner, and as a gay couple we feel very safe and included here.
So much to see and do, haven’t squeezed it all in within a week therefore will be coming back. Highly recommend.

The hotel's location is perfect. A 5-minute walk from the beach and the town center. The staff is very friendly; some speak limited English, but we don't speak Spanish. You can get by with gestures and hands. The food is okay; don't expect the ultimate in luxury, but we've never had a bad meal. Just make sure you clean your plate... the staff member pointed this out, and it's been improved. They also have themed nights, which is great fun. Evening entertainment includes music. The all-inclusive plan is extensive for drinks, but a bit limited for snacks. We would definitely book again next year.

Right in the center of Salou, a decent hotel but not much more, on both sides a pool and a jacuzzi. Staff very friendly but the food was average. Breakfast was ok, diner for us was not so great, mainly because of the somewhat dirty kitchen ( we understand that it’s a busy time ). Room was ok, we had a nice balcony but the beds are very hard, showerhead was leaking unfortunately so a good shower was difficult.
Overall a nice stay but there are some things the can improve.
