Hotel is in a good location with paid parking. You can either park in the hotel parking (subject to availability and small) or park in the shopping mall in front of the hotel. Price is 18 EUR per 24 hours. My room wasn't very clean as I could still see lady hair on my pillows and its missing some amenities such as a kettle for water to drink tea.

Literally across the Old Town, its location is ideal for travellers with no car. You can explore the city on foot, plenty of restaurants, shops and of course, the famous Catedral de Santiago.

I have nothing to say. The cleaning, tidying, and front desk were all excellent. There was also a bathtub, which was perfect for soothing your tired body. It's close to tourist attractions, so it's convenient for getting around anywhere. Arranging a taxi 🚕 in the morning was also smooth. Thank you very much.

Lovely service at the front desk - they gave us a map and showed us the sights on it, recommended restaurants, and were wonderful when I lost something important in the room. Nice comfortable rooms and just steps from the old town. Also highly recommend a post-Camino massage from Iria!

Pretty nice hotel with good sized rooms for our one night visit to Santiago de Compostela. The manager was nice enough to accommodate us even though I made some booking errors online. Paid underground parking garage was one minute away but tricky to get in and out.

While largish chain hotels are not usually our thing, this hotel does well.Junior Suite for 2 nights, very comfortable. Cathedral view, great for the fireworks on St James' Eve. Not too difficult to drive to, with good parking, and only 10 minutes walk (approx) to Cathedral.

Good hotel not far from the center of Santiago de Compostela. Clean room and a 24/7 gym and pool. Great architecture and great staff. Also has a nice breakfast buffet.

I love hotels that keep as much of the original building in tact and this hotel did just that. The room was large with a comfortable king bed and dark wood floors. We did have a problem with the upstairs room as the people walked so heavy it sounded the horses stomping on the ceiling. Also, the bathroom needs updating but worked just fine. Great place to end my vacation! The bed was perfect, the room spacious, especially loved the little sun room. And the location is excellent for strolling the waterfront, access to good restaurants, and just relaxing. But the true stars are the people. Everyone here is so warm and nice. They made me fall in love with this hotel and this city.

We enjoyed our stay. The shining part being the front desk staff (beds and shower were great too.) We felt immediately welcomed and was given detailed information about local sites and restaurants.

The hotel is very well located. That is the only good thing, as the facilities and furniture are not in line with the stars or price. We were unable to sleep at all due to the discomfort of the beds and pillows. The price paid does not match the facilities.

The place was nice and the pool was great to have for the kids. We didn't get to experience any of the spa services b/c we didn't realize the time zone difference driving from Portugal. The location is pretty far from the city center, but it does have it's own beach access which is nice. Room was spacious and clean, bed and pillows super comfortable, bathroom large with both shower and tube and all the amenities provided. We just missed a chair or an armchair/sofa to be given 5 stars.

This place is a gorgeous restoration of a "Galician pazo" (a rural residence of the nobles in the Galician region). The main entrance depicts many armory shields (escudos, as the name of the place), 101 of them according to the details i found. The hotel counts with rooms, restaurants, event rooms, a pool and many green areas and gardens. Also the views to the ria are beautiful.

Great hotel in A Coruña, very clean spacious room. Comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was great. Not too far to walk into the main shopping area - about 10 mins, and an interesting 45 min walk to the lighthouse.

Front desk not always staffed. Our room not cleaned one day. (We returned late afternoon for a rest and the room had not been made up). Cheap carpet tiles in corridor.

The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. Expected a bit more. This did not feel like 4 stars. The pool was very small and closed while it is almost June. The hotel interior felt dated, lots of things like curtains and room furniture was worn out. The hotel is an okay option if you want to be relatively central and have low expectations.

After staying at 35 different properties throughout Spain leading up to this visit, I was disappointed in the service. The communication regarding my luggage and booking a spa treatment was non existent. The service at breakfast was dismal. There were cobwebs hanging in my bathroom ceiling. If you want to go shopping, it is quite convenient, in a large shopping mall. It is a bit away from the city center, the room is relatively large, and the breakfast is not too rich.

Alright hotel. If staying in a shopping mall rather than the historic centre is your thing. Got dumped there by Vueling when a flight was cancelled. Breakfast was a highlight amongst a rather surreal experience. Pity the meal that was supposed to keep us going for 8 hours wasn't as good as breakfast. A bit of luxury on our Camino walk! Stayed here during a stop along the Camino. An excellent choice as they treated us well! From check in to check out, we were given excellent service, with clean rooms and great facilities including the restaurant. A lovely location too in a beautiful neighbourhood. Would go again!

Staff were friendly and helpful, even though i didn't speak Spanish the lady on the front desk spoke English. I arrived quite early and a room was available for me. It was very clean with a large hot shower and a comfortable bed. I only stayed for 1 night checked out the following morning, they kept my case for me as i was off sightseeing. With a late arrival by train we selected it because of its proximity to the station (and also to the bus station), but it proved much better than expected. I stayed in the Avenida hotel from April 9 to April 15. The hotel staff was as friendly and helpful as possible. The food in the restaurant was just amazing. This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.

This hotel told me it was full even it accepted my booking. I was sent to another hotel without shuttling service, I paid for the taxi. It’s not a common experience like this. The other hotel, Eurostar Gran has good service, but indeed too old to be fresh.

A short walk from the cathedral and behind the local market. Quiet and comfortable away from the beaten path. The best breakfast in town served from 7-10:30 am. All the modern comforts and amenities at a very reasonable price. Very well decorated. Friendly staff. Reservations advised. Highly recommended

To see the censer at Santiago Cathedral, my original hotel was sold out, so I booked this place. The hotel is across the street, uphill to the ancient market, and a few minutes further to the cathedral. The room I was given was a semi-basement suite at the very end. I stayed here at the end of my Camino walk and it was a real treat! Less than a 15min walk to pilgrim office and the cathedral. Wonderful staff, I arrived late the first night and I was still able to get a light meal and glass of wine before bed! Breakfast is also delightful don’t miss it. This is a perfect destination to finish in the Camino! The antique yet well maintained hotel is just perfectly matching Santiago De Compostela! A perfect spot to explore Ourense , the hotel was comfortable with a great breakfast, the room was comfortable and large with a vi of the street but it was quiet, the staff are very friendly, the location is great for local restaurants.
