While largish chain hotels are not usually our thing, this hotel does well.Junior Suite for 2 nights, very comfortable. Cathedral view, great for the fireworks on St James' Eve. Not too difficult to drive to, with good parking, and only 10 minutes walk (approx) to Cathedral.

Excellent location and accommodations - runs with calm and serene feeling despite being busy with cruise arrivals, weddings, and more. Breakfast is out of this world! Good hotel not far from the center of Santiago de Compostela. Clean room and a 24/7 gym and pool. Great architecture and great staff. Also has a nice breakfast buffet.

We stayed here at the end of our Camino from Lisbon. All of the staff were nice and attentive. My wife came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for 5 days, causing us to delay our flights home. I love hotels that keep as much of the original building in tact and this hotel did just that. The room was large with a comfortable king bed and dark wood floors. We did have a problem with the upstairs room as the people walked so heavy it sounded the horses stomping on the ceiling. Also, the bathroom needs updating but worked just fine. Aside from the location being fairly convenient, there really isn’t much else to praise. It’s a hotel with no facilities at all , not even a bottle of water is provided, so you’ll have to buy your own from the supermarket. As for toothbrushes, slippers, shower caps or kettle, those definitely aren’t included either. One thing worth mentioning, though, is the very friendly male staff at the front desk...

It's within walking distance, making it easy to get there by bus and lug your luggage. It's also not far from the cathedral. The facilities and service are relatively satisfactory. The only downside is that the bathroom lacks shower amenities. Otherwise, everything was good. There are also two large supermarkets nearby, making grocery shopping convenient.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, without breakfast. We really liked the hotel's location – close to the city center and the train station, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. There's paid parking across from the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We highly recommend the hotel.

Perfect place to stop on the Camino. The rooms seem to have recently been remodeled and are relatively modern looking and spacious. The bathroom in the room was very clean and modern. It is a good place to stop on the Camino as it is right on the route and is a very good price (I paid 56 euros for 1 night for a single use room with a queen bed). Of my 8+ stops on the Camino, it was definitely the best

The room was spacious and well-decorated. The location was in the city center, conveniently within walking distance of attractions, and not far from the station. The town was very pleasant, and the hotel breakfast was also excellent and plentiful.

Suave and sophisticated, Barcelo is smack in the center and convenient in every way. The views are beautiful, the city is literally at the doorstep. Everything is close by, El Paseo and Parque San Lazaro is right outside and Los Cinos are a ten minute stroll. Shop, eat, walk by the river, hot springs are a short hop away. Highly recommendable.

The hotel is artistically yet modernly furnished, with a plentiful and incredibly varied breakfast for €13 (booked directly at check-in) – classic dishes as well as healthy options like spirulina. The parking lot was tight (as in most hotels), but otherwise great. The sauna was a good size, and there was a modern little gym.

After a major renovation, the hotel looks brand new. Located right on the pedestrian street, transportation is very convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was hearty and satisfying. I was very satisfied.

Good quality hotel, excellent pool area with nicely kept terraces with sun loungers. Room bit dated and bathroom smelled like it had been smoked in, but otherwise bathroom good sized and shower good. Breakfast was good, buffet style. Room a bit tired and air-conditioning bit noisy but worked well to keep room cool. Bed was comfy but no kettle/coffee maker in Room. It was 1.5km from the Cathedral of Santiago, a quiet 20-minute walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and while eating, I could see the beautiful pool next to me. The view from the embankment was great, with a view of the entire city of Santiago.

Great hotel in A Coruña, very clean spacious room. Comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was great. Not too far to walk into the main shopping area - about 10 mins, and an interesting 45 min walk to the lighthouse.

Front desk not always staffed. Our room not cleaned one day. (We returned late afternoon for a rest and the room had not been made up). Cheap carpet tiles in corridor.

The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. Excellent location, breakfast, free park and friendly people

Everything is as expected, except for one small improvement: the outdoor parking lot should be reserved for hotel guests only, because everyone outside the hotel parks their vehicles there, leaving guests without parking. The indoor parking lot has few spaces and no reservations. This is a negative.

It was a family trip with a long journey. We couldn't find a good hotel with an affordable price. But it is quite distanced from the city center though, the hotel was quite nice. The room was spacious (it was a bonus) and the bed was clean and soft. The room service was perfect, nothing to complain.

Modern hotel with olde world touches in the rooms. Lovely fountain and open plan vista on the inside all floors can be seen from the ground floor and downwards from the top level (breakfast room) with an array of real plants hanging down from each level.

Not a 4 star hotel, first is has mold in the bathroom as seen in the photos. In desperate need of updating. I do need to say the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. This is what is missing for me for 4 star rating: face/hand towels in the shower, coffee maker, bathrobes, slippers, water to drink, extra pillows, shoehorn, ironing board. This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.

The hotel room is spacious and warm, the bedding is comfortable, the faucet in the bathroom has plenty of water, and the bathroom is large with four faucets, which can accommodate two people to take a bath at the same time! The breakfast is rich and the coffee is very good! It's a pity that the facade was under repair when I went there, so I couldn't take pictures of the beautiful scenery.

It was an OK stay. Room 320 had a very distinctive smell of cigarettes paticularly early morning and evening. Other guests were noisy but that not hotels fault. Staff were helpful though the breakfast man didn't particularly like English people. The young evening bar man was fab. Nice and modern hotel with rooms big enought.We were missing only the fridge (but you can use fridge on reception).If you have a luck, you canpark in front of the hotel free, otherwise they have underground parking for €10/day.

Enjoy your stay at Zenit in the city center I always stay at Zenit hotel , it is located in the heart of city and very near to ocean . You can walk near the ocean and enjoy and relax at the bars near to the hotel. The hotel is clear and the price of the hotel is reasonable.

After staying at 35 different properties throughout Spain leading up to this visit, I was disappointed in the service. The communication regarding my luggage and booking a spa treatment was non existent. The service at breakfast was dismal. There were cobwebs hanging in my bathroom ceiling.
