Went to wacth Celta Vigo play football. Hotel was lovely, Vigo is sleepy but pleasant
room is clean , nothing’s wrong but it doesn’t wow you either
Great location—just steps away from both the bus and train terminal. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Basilica Santa Maria and the Mercado da Pedra.
The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming, and always happy to help.
The only minor downside for me was that both pillows were a bit too soft for my preference. But overall, I...
Great location, nice sea view, and convenient car park. We had a great time there!
Nothing but positive feedback. Great location next to train and bus stations. Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety and great quality. I would definitely recommend.
Hotel is in a good location with paid parking. You can either park in the hotel parking (subject to availability and small) or park in the shopping mall in front of the hotel. Price is 18 EUR per 24 hours. My room wasn't very clean as I could still see lady hair on my pillows and its missing some amenities such as a kettle for water to drink tea.

Galicia, Santiago de Compostela, Calle Horreo 1 🧭 Map
Literally across the Old Town, its location is ideal for travellers with no car. You can explore the city on foot, plenty of restaurants, shops and of course, the famous Catedral de Santiago.
The location is convenient, and the staff are very friendly.
I have nothing to say.
The cleaning, tidying, and front desk were all excellent.
There was also a bathtub, which was perfect for soothing your tired body.
It's close to tourist attractions, so it's convenient for getting around anywhere.
Arranging a taxi 🚕 in the morning was also smooth.
Thank you very much.
Lovely service at the front desk - they gave us a map and showed us the sights on it, recommended restaurants, and were wonderful when I lost something important in the room. Nice comfortable rooms and just steps from the old town. Also highly recommend a post-Camino massage from Iria!
I don't usually write this kind of reviews.. but i had to.
Just so you know what are you getting yourself into. The location of the place was great. It was clean, But unfortunately the hospitality no so good. They sent you a super welcoming message that for the price of the hotel you are happy to get.
I walked the camino from Burgos to Compostela 500+ km. I wanted to treat myself with a nice place...
Pretty nice hotel with good sized rooms for our one night visit to Santiago de Compostela. The manager was nice enough to accommodate us even though I made some booking errors online. Paid underground parking garage was one minute away but tricky to get in and out.

While largish chain hotels are not usually our thing, this hotel does well.Junior Suite for 2 nights, very comfortable. Cathedral view, great for the fireworks on St James' Eve. Not too difficult to drive to, with good parking, and only 10 minutes walk (approx) to Cathedral.
Excellent location and accommodations - runs with calm and serene feeling despite being busy with cruise arrivals, weddings, and more. Breakfast is out of this world! Pool area is nice if a little small and on the cooler side. Very nice touches in workout area and nice room with tubs. Location cannot be beat for what you get inside + wonderful pastel de Santiago. Can’t wait to return, thank you so...
Good hotel not far from the center of Santiago de Compostela. Clean room and a 24/7 gym and pool. Great architecture and great staff. Also has a nice breakfast buffet.
Quite place in the heart of Santiago. Perfecto breakfast
We stayed here at the end of our Camino from Lisbon. All of the staff were nice and attentive.
My wife came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for 5 days, causing us to delay our flights home.
The hotel General manager extended our stay at a very generous rate and made sure we had everything we needed.
The most impressive piece to this was that every staff member from housekeeping to breakfast...
I love hotels that keep as much of the original building in tact and this hotel did just that. The room was large with a comfortable king bed and dark wood floors. We did have a problem with the upstairs room as the people walked so heavy it sounded the horses stomping on the ceiling. Also, the bathroom needs updating but worked just fine. It is a 10 to 15 minute to the city center and it’s uphill...

breakfast could be better. Restaurant was closed at 8:45 pm then I had to find a place to eat over raining outside
Great place to end my vacation! The bed was perfect, the room spacious, especially loved the little sun room. And the location is excellent for strolling the waterfront, access to good restaurants, and just relaxing. But the true stars are the people. Everyone here is so warm and nice. They made me fall in love with this hotel and this city.
We enjoyed our stay. The shining part being the front desk staff (beds and shower were great too.) We felt immediately welcomed and was given detailed information about local sites and restaurants.
From the moment we arrived, the receptionist told us, “You’re in the best location”—and he wasn’t lying. The hotel is perfectly situated: close to everything we needed, while still being in a beautiful, charming area.
The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and incredibly well maintained. Everything from the design to the cleanliness made it a very comfortable stay. The staff was also very kind and welcoming...
Great location, spacious room, comfy bed, modern looking & decoration, free parking in the basement. Breakfast at €15/person. Everything you need for a short trip. We just stayed 1 night and everything was working well, quiet so we didn't even interact with the staff. They seem friendly though.
Definitely will stay here again if we are back in Vigo.
The hotel is very well located. That is the only good thing, as the facilities and furniture are not in line with the stars or price. We were unable to sleep at all due to the discomfort of the beds and pillows. The price paid does not match the facilities.

Very comfortable rooms. Walking distance to the bus and train station. A lovely spoiling after your camino.
Lovely hotel to be at Santiago! Rooms were spacious, clean, nice and friendly staff at the bar! We will def come again ❤️
In the heart of Santiago de Compostela, Hotel Santiago Plaza delivers exactly what you’d expect from a Meliá property, excellent service, spacious rooms, and an overall experience that goes above and beyond.
We booked a room for ourselves and our child, and it was massive with plenty of space to relax after exploring the city. The staff were incredibly helpful, even going as far as mapping out lunch...

Hotel Pazo de los Escudos has many strong points: the staff are lovely, the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are very comfortable. Free parking is a real bonus, especially these days, and it makes a great base to explore Galicia.
That said, a few details kept it from feeling truly five-star. The bar area, with its white marble, felt a bit too clinical and unwelcoming, and its terrace sits in the...
The place was nice and the pool was great to have for the kids. We didn't get to experience any of the spa services b/c we didn't realize the time zone difference driving from Portugal. The location is pretty far from the city center, but it does have it's own beach access which is nice. But for someone looking for a quick stay in the city before going to the Cies Islands, there might be better options...
Room was spacious and clean, bed and pillows super comfortable, bathroom large with both shower and tube and all the amenities provided. We just missed a chair or an armchair/sofa to be given 5 stars.
This place is a gorgeous restoration of a "Galician pazo" (a rural residence of the nobles in the Galician region). The main entrance depicts many armory shields (escudos, as the name of the place), 101 of them according to the details i found.
The hotel counts with rooms, restaurants, event rooms, a pool and many green areas and gardens. Also the views to the ria are beautiful.
Beautiful spot with outstanding service for a relaxing break. Beach, pool, incredible breakfast, very good restaurant if you don't want to go anywhere.
A lovely, comfortable hotel which exceeded the expectations we had based on the online presentation. Our third (top) floor sea view room with balcony was delightful with views across the ocean to the hills opposite. Extremely quiet and peaceful (hardly any other guests on our floor, was June out of season?). Service generally good, though we made little claim on them. The local town-side not especially...

Great hotel in A Coruña, very clean spacious room. Comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was great. Not too far to walk into the main shopping area - about 10 mins, and an interesting 45 min walk to the lighthouse.
Front desk not always staffed. Our room not cleaned one day. (We returned late afternoon for a rest and the room had not been made up). Cheap carpet tiles in corridor.
I stayed here for a couple of nights in mid-August while traveling solo. I mainly needed air conditioning and a comfortable bed to recover from a long journey, and the hotel delivered on that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated.
That said, the room was smaller than expected and faced the rear of the building with no real view. I couldn’t open the curtains due to privacy...

Loved the calmness of the monastery. Dorms were comfortable and warm. Good kitchen facilities. Well worth the minimal price. Beautiful buildings.

Very interesting, nicely maintained old convent. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Close to everything.
The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. A former monk's refectory, for banquets and meals, serves us excellent breakfast and dinner! The best! Great parking lot for free. I highly recommend this hotel !
The hotel still functions as a spiritual house with 8 friars still living onsite. It is a gentle spacious. Grand hotel and our room was both spacious and elegant. Very good hotel at the entrance to Vigo. Convenient access, free underground parking. Very rich breakfast buffet and delicious dinner, although the dishes are few, but it is "gourmet" food.
Very comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. Excellent staff attention. Good breakfast.

Location near tourist attractions, stores, restaurant and train station
Very near to the central.
Comfortable stay.
Expected a bit more. This did not feel like 4 stars. The pool was very small and closed while it is almost June. The hotel interior felt dated, lots of things like curtains and room furniture was worn out. The hotel is an okay option if you want to be relatively central and have low expectations.

Very professional and high quality hotel. Nice and tidy room. Very good breakfast. Fast and stable WiFi. Great location.
Very good choice in Lugo, conveniently located inside the old walls. Parking is not super close, but doable. Room was clean, spacious and with 2 bathrooms. Good breakfast option, too, from the top floor (great view of the city).
Great location inside the old town. Basic but clean rooms. Very comfortable bed pillows. A good variety for breakfast. The roof top terrace is lovely ro visit for an evening meal and/or drinks. Friendly service.
Rooms and decorations are a bit tired for a 4* hotel. However the service is excellent and very friendly.
Outstanding location in the middle of the old historic town, closed to restaurants, main square. Very safe.
Front desk staff are extremely helpful.
Came for the Roman walls, stayed for the rooftop views and breakfast that made me question my life choices—why haven’t I been here every day? Staff friendlier than my own family. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys comfort, history, and a good laugh at how spoiled they’ve become.

After staying at 35 different properties throughout Spain leading up to this visit, I was disappointed in the service. Staff is really nice. We booked a triple room but we're given a quadruple room with a nice size. Everything worked fine. At check-in breakfast buffet was offered at a discounted rate, it was good and well served. Walking distance to/from train station.
Another hotel that proved to be a very fortunate “find”! With a late arrival by train we selected it because of its proximity to the station (and also to the bus station), but it proved much better than expected. Great location, service and quality. Breakfast is an amazing buffet for €16
This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom.
