I loved my stay at the Hotel Botánico. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive at all times. We had a lovely room on the 10th floor overlooking the sea. We found all the staff to be very friendly. The restaurant staff worked extremely hard to clear tables and maintain the buffet. What can I say, another wonderful stay at the Santa Maria. All the staff offer first class service and nothing seems to be too much trouble. It's an old building with an old building feel. Cleanliness is good with cleaners working 5/7 days pw. Towels and bedding changed every 3 or 4 days. Room facilities are excellent with everything you need to cook basic meals. Shampoo and soap provided.

We had a lovely time here. We were upgraded to the presidential suite from our My Favourite Club suite that we had booked and the room was amazing! We had a sea view, which was nice but I think if we came again we would book a Teide view as the scenery looking in that direction was breathtaking. Overall good ,the hotel is large yet ,they look after you well food OK although we were disappointed the speciality restaurant wasn’t available during our stay. We have been to other resorts in the same group and standards are equal.

Hotel was very clean and fairly quiet as no kids. Originally B+B but we upgraded to half board for 4 nights for 12€ per night per person which is extremely good value as 3 course buffet and limited drinks. Try eating out for 12€! This is the second stay at the hotel. Love the beautiful grounds and the location. The buffet food was of a high standard. The only disappoint were chilly pools It's a shame they can't use some of the solar power to heat the pools. We would definitely return.

November 4th 2025. Lovely hotel, 90 mins from the airport. It is clean, the food good and very nice friendly staff. The TUI rep was there a few hours each morning but no welcome meeting( so no trip selling, there was a brochure book only) as maybe 5% English mostly German with maybe 25% Spanish. We have had three lovely weeks in this great place. The surrounding was beautiful with a lot of space to stroll around in. Big and spacious room with balcony and nice see view. The restaurant delivered food with a great variety of dishes. Convenient with shuttlebus to town. The staff were polite and service minded.

Exceptional stay! The hotel offered impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and a prime location near major attractions. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and elegantly designed. This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but inside the rooms are modern & clean. The staff are friendly & helpful. I had breakfast every morning & there was a great choice ( I'm vegetarian) . There were lovely small but thoughtful touches like water containers infused with fresh fruit.
