We stayed overnight at Zermatt at this place. Our rooms was warm and cosy as the temperature outside was -10°C.

The room offered great views of Matterhorn peak and the valley.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were limited but sufficient.
Considering the Zermatt valley is usually cold, it would be good provide a kettle and a couple of cups to enjoy a hot cuppa in the room.

Bit of a hike from train station. Took a while to figure out city bus pattern. Zermatt is car free but they have many small vans running around town - pedestrians beware. Liked room very much and when construction next door finished view will be improved. Breakfast was excellent as was house staff.

When we arrived, Diana quickly guided us to the lower floor for the lift as we have heavy luggages. Diana and her teammates always make us feel very welcoming to the hotel and to breakfast. Always offering us with few choices of coffee. Beakfast was good and always have good choices of fresh fruits.

Rhodania is about 10 to 15 mins from Zermatt Station, but with a mere 3 mins walk, you can reach the bridge where you can have the spectacular view of Matterhorn.

Love this hotel! Staff is delightful and so helpful in every way. Breakfast is hearty. Rooms are comfy and showers are easy to figure out. Central to town and lifts. We did not have a view of the mountain but the clouds were out anyway. Did have a nice small deck with views of flowers . We would stay here again. The staff was a real bonus !!

Really a nice place to stay in Zermatt. Free local electric bus and a five minute walk after that will get you to the hotel. Rooms are nice. Staff is respectful and breakfast is good. It is a good place to stay and see the sites in Zermatt.

This is a great hotel. We stayed here for two nights (Fri & Sat). It's approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and a nice short walk into the main street for food, drinks, shopping, etc. The staff were very polite & helpful, our room fob was waiting for us upon arrival. The room was clean and ready. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was warm, with extra blankets if needed. Flat screen TV mounted on the wall and easily viewable from the beds, with remote too. Local Swiss-German and English language channels available. The ensuite shower room was very clean and well stocked with fresh towels and basic toiletries. Good pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower too. We had the breakfast package too - the breakfasts were really good, setting you up well for the day ahead.

If we go back to Zermatt in the future, this will be our first choice of accommodation. Highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are cozy and homey. Bed linens are very warm and comfortable. Shower was excellent water pressure and very hot water. Room was perfect for two people. Please note that there is not a hot water kettle and the room safe is too small to hold a laptop
Computer. The breakfast crew happily filled my thermos with hot water for tea later in the day. Otherwise super stay and will definitely book again.

Great location, really good size room, comfortable and clean. Really good service. Our room had a nice balcony with a superb view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was very nice and the three members of staff gave a really good service, attentive to all hotel guests and ensuring we had what we needed. My only criticism which was why I gave a four was the layout of breakfast. The meat selection was placed directly behind the cheese, the guests were using the same cutlery to pick up the meat and then the cheese. For those who don’t eat meat it’s very off putting, the meat and cheese, vegetarian products should be separated. Other than this a huge thanks to the three staff pictured.

I was in the region on a hiking holiday and the Hotel Rhodania was a perfect resting place for a long weekend. A warm welcome by the staff, very comfortable rooms and an outstanding breakfast with convenient location. This place is an excellent value for Zermatt if you are travelling solo or with a family. Thank you!

The staff is very nice. The room has a terrace. There are boiled eggs and fruits for breakfast. The baguettes are also delicious. You have to order coffee, chocolate, and tea with the staff, and the staff will make them for you.
