I 100% recommend this hotel, I had the most lovely experience in there (travelling solo)!! Starting by the room, it was modern and well equipped (nice big tv, iphone and usb plugs, good shower, lightening regulation, heating for towels, big sink, hangers..) looking new, with a cozy alpine decor, comfy bed and it was pristine clean! The staff was incredible to me, so kind, sweet and helpful. They helped me with everything I needed (information, help with ski rental issues, called a taxi, remembered how I like my coffee, and much more), I am so thankful for everything and so glad I chose this place for my stay. Breakfast had fresh options and covered all the basics with quality. Also, I enjoyed the location, literally 7 min walk to the center of centre, 10 min walk from central station or Sunnegga station, but still it was in a quieter place, felt very safe and peaceful. Amazing place for a much better price than most of the resorts around. If/when I go back to Zermatt I’ll be choosing Basecamp again. Thank you everyone!

We got fall weather, winter weather and perfect view of Matterhorn direct from our balcony! Room was large and with two twin beds we could separate them for more room! Staff were amazing and really good breakfast is included! Walk to village in 5 minutes and 10 minutes to train station. skylight in bathroom was a bonus! Thankyou, Base Camp

Fabulous views from this apartment of the Matterhorn. Perfect location to see the Matterhorn all day but especially at sunrise and sunset, The apartment is very spacious with lots of room. Three good size bedrooms with comfortable beds. The host was fantastic and arranged for us to be picked up and dropped off at the station. Easy walk into the town center and also for the mountain railway lines. The apartment was fully equipped. If you are visiting Zermatt would highly recommend this apartment.

Excellent hotel! Room and bathroom were modern yet comfy and very clean. Bed and light down comforter was wonderful! Staff at the front desk was very helpful with recommending things to do. Breakfast was very good and service was excellent.

A hidden gem, the BaseCamp Hotel is absolutely brilliant. Perfectly located with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. The rooms are generously spacious and clean, and the staff were wonderful. Caroline in particular couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating us and for advice on local restaurants and activities — both in advance of booking our trip, and also during our stay. The perfect Christmas break – Thank you!

Stayed on the 4th floor and had perfect views of the Matterhorn. Relaxed on the balcony for hours enjoying views and snacks, beverages from the convenience store just down the street. A lot of creative climbing themed details throughout the hotel and in the rooms. We thought this was really cool and visually appealing. Front desk staff and breakfast wait staff are very friendly. The breakfast was outstanding. Great muesli, breads, jams, and hot options. Loved the rhubarb jam. Great location and experience all the way around. Would love to stay here again.

The views, the food the staff, the room, the decor - all absolutely fantastic. Whole room was very clean, heating worked great.
I was so positively surprised and impressed! Coming from UK - this hotel would exceed 5 stars here! Easily! Absolutely fantastic.

Great place to stay. Would book again. All staff great, special mention to reception manager. Jump in taxi from train station. Tea and coffee in room. Lovely Lounge with open fire. Good breakfast. Great advice.

The room was large with a great view of the Matterhorn and a balcony. There was a comfortable seating area and an excellent bathroom. Wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
