Really a nice place to stay in Zermatt. Free local electric bus and a five minute walk after that will get you to the hotel. Rooms are nice. Staff is respectful and breakfast is good. It is a good place to stay and see the sites in Zermatt.

Rooms are cozy and homey. Bed linens are very warm and comfortable. Shower was excellent water pressure and very hot water. Room was perfect for two people. Please note that there is not a hot water kettle and the room safe is too small to hold a laptop Computer. The breakfast crew happily filled my thermos with hot water for tea later in the day. I was in the region on a hiking holiday and the Hotel Rhodania was a perfect resting place for a long weekend. The staff is very nice. The room has a terrace. There are boiled eggs and fruits for breakfast. The baguettes are also delicious. You have to order coffee, chocolate, and tea with the staff, and the staff will make them for you.

It is convenient because it is close to the bus stop of the circulation bus. Walking is no big deal. Google Maps recommends stairs, so if you ignore it and go along the river to the Japanese bridge, there is an elevator, which is convenient. I booked this Swiss hotel because it was close to the station and included breakfast at a reasonable price. The bed was soft and I fell asleep quickly. Breakfast was provided and they also offered luggage storage, so the service was good. However, due to the structure of the building, there is no elevator, so it was difficult to carry heavy luggage up and down.

The room was small, but the location was great. I booked two rooms, and only one had a balcony, which was very comfortable. I could watch the people going by on the street, or look out at the clock tower and listen to the chimes, which was very romantic. The other room was just average. The breakfast was very good, and I loved the bread; it was delicious.

I came to the hotel for two nights with my mom and sister. We loved the location, the rooms and the garden. We really appreciate the room that they gave us, we had a direct view to the Matterhorn.

Love this place. Just a short walk from the train station and very close to all shops. There is a small backyard to have picnics and eat your meals. Would definitely return to stay again. Be warned, there is no elevator so you'll have to haul the heavy luggage up a small stairway.

Very nice room with amazing view of Matterhorn, very cozy in the hotel in general, but extremely cold in the night. I had merely fallen asleep because of the low temperature. Also the shower was a bit odd to me: you should have press a button every few seconds in order to get water while showering. I would come back, but maybe in a warmer season.

I have stayed this hotel several times. It is cosy and clean. Down stairs is big kitchen and lounge. There is also possibility to wash your laundry and store items while you are at mountains. Hotel has very good price and value ratio. Service has been good every time I have stayed there. A front of the hotel there is nice tables to sit on.

The scenery is amazing. You can see the Matterhorn from your room. Remember to book a room with a view. In addition, the hotel staff are very considerate and will explain the hiking route and travel guide when you check in, which is very helpful. It was very cozy and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming from beginning to end. It felt like home. She actively helped to solve any problems. You can see the blues of the Matterhorn directly from your room at night. The morning sun shines on the golden mountain without any obstruction. The breakfast is also very rich.

Very nice room: two large bedrooms and two clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, living room with cozy couch, and wide balcony to enjoy view of Zermatt. We stayed at the 22 Summit Apartments for a week during high season. The location is very good and super close to the gondola. Pretty big and nice apartments! Why did we only give 3 stars? Incredible stay at Casa Vanessa. Staff was always warm and welcoming. The reception had short, limited hours but the phone line was always available for any needs.
