Veritably a BRILLIANT refuge !
Will definately come again !
(they offered me to move, but it was already late at night and I was leaving very early in the morning for diving).
The villa was modern, spacious, and very beautiful. The bathroom was large and stylish, and the private pool was amazing. We spent most of our time in our villa and really enjoyed the privacy. We even ordered dinner to our villa in the evening, and the staff always delivered everything quickly. Everyone was super friendly and professional.
The hotel bar is wonderful and has an incredible view over Phuket. The breakfast buffet was very generous and delicious. The noodle soup in the morning was my personal highlight.
Some people might find the buggy service unusual, but we actually loved it. It was something different and fun. The buggies were always available within three to four minutes. Sometimes we also walked back to our villa after breakfast. It is a bit steep, but totally possible.
The hotel is in a quiet area, and there is not much around it. But this is perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation.
One evening we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, but it was surprisingly empty. We wondered if most guests prefer to eat in their villas or outside the hotel. It did not bother us, but we noticed it.
Overall, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. It offers everything you expect from a five-star hotel. We had an incredible time and would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked.
We highly recommend Noku Phuket and would definitely come back again.
Villa Mint is big and comfortable to stay with friends and family. It even includes snack, fruit and drinks in villa which are complimentary for us to enjoy when we stay by the private pool. Very enjoyable and pleasant! The breakfast at the hotel is a highlight during our stay. It was served in buffet style with egg and noodles station. Although the selection is not super wide, it’s more than enough to enjoy as the quality and the freshness of the food are above average, some of them even exceeded our expectations. Overall, we enjoyed the moment at the hotel so much and we will definitely coming back for vacation again ❤️
Rooms were all clean, 4 bedrooms with bathrooms. The pool was impressive since it was big and deep enough to swim well. Every detail from towels to drinks surprised me. The breakfast was also delicious and service was perfect.
The only difficulty was to get a taxi since it’s quite far from the city, but with extra charge, we were able to travel without stress.

I recently stayed at Noku Phuket, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
At first glance, the hotel looks impressive. The views over Phuket Old Town and the sea are truly beautiful and create a strong first impression. However, once you look beyond the surface, the reality is quite different.
The property is clearly very worn and in need of renovation. While it initially appears clean, a closer look reveals limescale stains, dirty windows, and generally poor maintenance throughout. The towels were stained, and all upholstered surfaces such as sofas and lounge furniture were visibly stained as well. The pool deck is in a deteriorated condition and feels unsafe and neglected. Overall, the hotel feels outdated and not properly maintained.
The service was also only average and did not meet expectations for a five-star hotel. Staff were not particularly attentive, and the overall level of hospitality felt underwhelming.
All in all, this stay was very disappointing. While the views are beautiful, the condition and service fall far short of what one would expect from a five-star property. Unfortunately, this seems to reflect what is sometimes considered “standard” for Thai five-star hotels — but it certainly does not justify the rating or the price.
Our room was clean and well furnished with a very large bathroom (albeit a little dark). We had a ground floor room with a view of the pond but didn't spend a lot of time on the balcony as the pond was a little smelly after a while. The TV is not a smart TV so only offers live TV & YouTube which was unusual to us. We had take-out in our room one evening and although the napkins, crockery, & cutlery were removed by the cleaners it was never replaced. Also, the under sink bin (where we had put food rubbish) was not emptied. There was also no full length mirror in the room. On the upside the free mini bar (beer & soda) was a nice touch!
Breakfast had a good amount of options but the hot offerings were underwhelming, the bacon for instance was very hard. We did like the health shots and the restaurant is very nicely decorated with lovely views.
The hotel offers a mini-bus to Kata Beach, Phuket Town, & Central Mall but considering the hotels remote hillside location we found the bus timetable very limiting (only 3 times a day out, and 2 times a day return). The bus has only 10 seats so you need to book a fair amount of time in advance and the first time we used this service the bus actually left without us ahead of schedule (our shuttle driver actually stopped the bus driver as we passed them to let us on). As an alternative we used "Grab" often to get around.
There is one bar by the lobby with stunning a panoramic view but the service was very slow even when not busy.
The main pool also shares the same view and is very relaxing however there are a limited number sun-loungers. We really liked the wet loungers in the pool, the only downside to those was there was nowhere to store personal items. There is no poolside service so you do need to go to the bar directly to order then a waiter will bring food and drinks to your sun-lounger. This wasn't the case at the spa pool which had no service at all.
One of our highlights was a lovely head & shoulder massage at the hotel spa. Overall we had a nice stay but would have expected a little more from a 5-star resort.
- I booked a HILL VILLA KING; I requested prior to arrival that I wanted a certain view and they replied we will try to the best of their availability (which is totally understandable)
- When I arrived the service was good and they were very kind and again I appreciated the birthday setup they did in the room
- After I checked in ROOM H11; which I saw was weird was there was 2 separate bed bases; and using common sense I thought why would a KING bed have 2 bed bases
- After trying to sleep at night I noticed that it was actually a 2 twin beds put together which explains the two separate bed bases; during the night the bed moved in the middle (with obvious two twin beds and the line in the middle) the bed sheets did not fit because it was two twins and they gave me two separate blankets (it was me and my girlfriend) so it is weird having two separate blankets
- I went to explain my situation to duty manager (AM is his name) he was very nice but very inexperienced I must say; I went to the front desk and I said “hi may I know what type of room I booked” then they said “king bed Hill Villa” I said perfect then I said I would like to speak to a manager (they knew what I was going to say)
- When AM came out he did not let me speak he just talked and said sir because you requested for a nicer view we gave you this room and because the king bed broke which is why we put two twins together. I asked if that is the case why did you not inform me at check in? He said oh we did not im so sorry; let me change your room for you and I will send a fruit plate as apology (TBH I don’t want a fruit plate I can easily get one for $2USD anywhere in Thailand) I said please I had lunch yesterday which was around $25USD pls waive that for me as courtesy and everything would be fine. AM replied of course that’s not a problem sir (I THOUGHT everything was resolved) not sure if he did not understand but I spoke slowly in English due to the language barrier
- We went to my new room at night and saw the fruit plate (thought it was a bonus) room was better and was a king bed which is what I wanted. I go to check out the following morning (I DID NOT HAVE TO) they do not take a deposit which is weird because I signed a lunch to my room so I could have just left. I met AM again and he showed me the map of the whole hotel; Pointed at H11 and you can clearly see that the room has two twin beds (So the BED was not broken they just put me in a twin bed combined into a King) He said yes lol not sure why because its not what he said yesterday that the King bed broke. Then he said oh sir you do have a lunch that you had to pay for (Yesterday he just said yes no problem I will take care) now I need to pay for it; I said did you not say you will take care of it he replied “sorry sir because this is another department” To me its one hotel; how you deal with costs internally is not my problem ( I WAS NOT GOING WRITE A REVIEW BUT AFTER THIS I HAD TO)
- Also just to add First day breakfast I asked for (ICE THAI COFFEE) they said they do not have and interesting as im in Thailand all hotels have this but it was fine; BUT the breakfast colleagues said at afternoon session they have so I said no problem! But one of the staff offered “sir tomorrow morning we can offer if you would like” I thought amazing that’s service; next day I went “SIR WE DO NOT HAVE THAI COFFEE” after the disappointments above I gave up and adding to the bill not being waived which is a fraction of the cost of the room I gave up
- All in all this hotel tries to be “high end” but there are many improvements that can be made
Sorry for the long review but I was not too impressed
