They cancelled my request just a few days before checking in claiming they were fully booked. Looking at other reviews it’s common for them to do this kind of scam, so beware. Totally untrustworthy, stay away.

We booked and prepaid for a hotel on Phi Phi Island, Thailand, but our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the bathroom in our room was soaked with dirty water, and we soon discovered that all the water in the hotel was contaminated—coming out brown. We complained, and staff assured us it would be fixed the next day. However, it wasn’t, and we later noticed a notice dated November 7 on the wall saying the water issue would take 2-3 days to resolve, even though we stayed from November 13 to 14. After reporting the water issue, the owner suddenly claimed there was a stain on the sheets and tried to charge us 500 Baht, which then changed to 1000 Baht, as if part of a scheme to deflect our complaint. We have since seen that other reviews from 2022 and 2023 mention the same water contamination issues, which appear to be an ongoing problem at this hotel. This experience made our stay very uncomfortable and prevented us from even being able to shower. We strongly advise against booking this hotel.

Upon checkin, we were put in a different 2-star property , apparently owned by the same person. Theres no staff support there or intercom to the reception, so we had to walk 200m for any needs. After our first night, we were asked to shift rooms due to AC repair. Our new rooms were worse with broken shower, flush and wifi not working. Although we complained to staff multiple times, there was no support given. Upon checkout, the receptionist named Dee was very rude. She started yelling at us and banging the table. She had given us a lead on a day tour in phi phi island. There was miscommunication due to which we couldnt pay the entire amount. She said theyll collect the money at the boat, but they didnt collect the full amount, which we paid her when she told this, during checkout. She denied to give breakfast even though she said breakfast is covered for both days and denied staff service like luggage carrier. She didnt let us speak, swore at us in local language and threatened to call the cops if we dont leave their property.

I have been going to phiphi quite often the last year and I always stay at the Chunut House. It is a bit "far" from the center, meaning literally a 5 min walk but it makes the place a nice refugee from the loud /busy center and people partying at the beach. It's amazing because you can party (within 5 min) and also get away from it if you want. The staff is really nice, not everyone speaks english but there's always someone around or a way of communicating. The place is really clean, affordable, nice and big swimmming pool, honestly one of the best options for that price. So if you want to experience PhiPhi, the party an the quite/relax in a clean nice place that is affordable, this is your place to stay!

The hotel is not bad for the money.
They helped bring things from the pier to the room.
They treated us to breakfast, eggs, coffee.
The staff is friendly.
Disadvantages: the bathroom is always damp, when you take a shower, water is everywhere, you need a separate drain for water. There was no mirror in the room, there was nowhere to put things, the room was dark.

Lousy experience. When we arrived they told us that the air was bad and they put me in another hotel further away and still under construction. Also, I was only "entitled" to breakfast for 1 day, the next day I didn't have it anymore... go figure

Stay here way exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was home cooked and absolutely delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Also have day trips around the island that leave right from your hotel. Will definitely be staying here again next time in Phi Phi.

Be carefull before you book!
We have booked a room and when we arrived we received a different one from the one we saw in the pictures. Room was extremely smalland shower was disgusting. The hotel itself is located very far away from the center and the beatches and is located near a water desalination facility, so the entire area smella like a sewerage. The staff were also very rude.

They wants me to pay for using Visa card 200 bhat. Then give me a standard room while I booked and paid a luxury bungalow. No trust this place.

Beautiful little bungalow, air-con works well, rooms were clean, bathroom was outside with a little roof on, so expect bugs when going to do your business! It's also on the same road as a water treatment facility (poo farm) so when walking to and from this place can be a bit smelly! Wi-Fi was a little hit and miss, but every cafe/ bar offers free Wi-Fi so isn't a real issue. Also our lock they gave us didn't look very safe, luckily I had brought my own! Guy that have us our keys was hilarious, really friendly. Overall had a good stay here, was cheap and cheerful.
