Absolutely fantastic stay at Maya Resort. Perfect room at the back of the resort away from any noise. Very clean. Great facilities like. High chair and cutlery / bowls plates for little ones. Lovely clean pool with lots of toys and great kids club which was supervised by a friendly Nanny. Breakfast was a good selection and you can order from the menu or have the buffet so that’s great. Really recommend this hotel for families.

An absolutely wonderful hotel! We only stayed for one night as we were heading to Koh Phangan the next morning. The cleanliness was impeccable, it was quiet and peaceful, and the grounds were very beautiful and well-maintained. There's a new, nice 7-Eleven nearby, as well as a small street food court. A big thank you to the hotel owner, he's wonderful!

The property is well-maintained and shows great attention to detail. It's ideal for families with children, offering entertainment options and two large swimming pools. Excellent location. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week.
Pros:
+ The host is very responsive and helpful
+ The location is ideally located and easily accessible. It's 10-15 minutes from the airport, and only a few minutes walk to the Beach and Fisherman's Village.
+ Markets and restaurants are all within a 5 walk
+ The resort is VERY family-friendly, and made our kids very happy
+ The restaurant is fast, good, and inexpensive
+ The drinks in the restaurant are surprisingly good... better than what you'll get downtown.
+ The staff are extremely kind and gracious. Our kids loved the staff in the kid's club, and would prefer to go there than to use technology.
+ There are two community pools, which are great, but the 2-bedroom villa with private pool was fantastic! We would definitely do that again.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Maya Resort for 10 days! What can I say except: "absolutely perfect" - Check-in: fast and efficient, - During the stay: the entire staff was incredible! Infrastructure, hygiene, friendliness, everything is there... and if I had to add anything, I had forgotten my watch in the safe and realized it 4 days later... not only did they find it but they did everything possible to ensure I got it back before leaving for Europe. Thanks again and see you soon

good hotel especially for families

Overall 5 star stay. Super friendly staff, great location for families with kids, they have 2 pools, little animals (turtles). The food was great, it’s pretty central to walk everywhere. I also rented a scooter through the hotel - 300 bhat. Shootout to the owner, he let us stay longer in the room when we had to check out for a late flight. Fantastic kids indoor location with always smiling staff!

Great stay.. Quite focused towards families.. they need to fix their washing machine though. Very close to fisherman village which is not quite and attraction for young and active people(that would be Chaweng)

We enjoyed our stay at Lokah Sukhah. Grace was a great host, she was helpful and kind. The room is cute and it has all you need. The location is amazing, since it is very close to the Fisherman’s village. Great value for the price.

We had a great stay at Lokah Sukhah and we can’t thank Grace & Nut enough for their hospitality during our 4 night stay.
The room was as described and a great base in order to explore Fisherman’s village. All shops, bars, restaurants and the beach were all in easy walking distance.
Lokah Sukhah also offer yummy food & drink options at a reasonable price including Nut’s special Pad Thai!
We had a very special stay here and we will remember it for a lifetime. 333

Thank you Grace and M for making our stay at Samui so memorable. These two lovely people made our stay at Lokah Sukhah so nice, that we had to extend several times.

At Lokah Sukhah we did yoga for the first time, and we enjoyed it a lot. Grace was an amazing teacher and her positive energy really effects you. Beside great yoga, Lokah Sukhah servers the best chia pudding. We had it almost every morning.

Grace and M will make you feel very welcome and they also give good tips about where to go and what to see.

After three weeks at Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, we are heading back to Lokah Sukhah for a week before the journey continues. Can’t wait to come back!

My sister and I had an amazing Sunday morning yoga session with Grace. We were beginners having never done yoga before, we’d only heard of it! Wanting to learn more about the practice and begin to listen more to our bodies and breathing, we spent the lesson being taught different yoga techniques / practices as well as breathing exercises and some meditation/ relaxation. It was a very enjoyable experience especially with the one on one focus. We both came away having learnt so much and wanting to explore yoga further. We hung around for some breakfast which was delicious ! I would highly recommend the yoga and the food 💜

You won’t find a better practice on the island!
I spent 2-3 weeks looking for good yoga classes and after some trial and error came across Lokah Sukhah. The class was awesome. Intimate, energetic and educational. Grace is a true expert and shared a really enriching class with us.

If you have time you can also get a great breakfast there and chat with Grace’s partner M and their beautiful dog Mojo.
