Only after I complained was I moved to a better room the next day, which raises the question why I wasn’t given a proper room from the start.
There is construction outside with drilling noise early in the morning and poor window insulation.
Breakfast was weak — not tasty, little variety and very bad coffee, so I skipped it the next day.
The staff are kind and the place is clean, but this feels more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. For the same price I moved to a five-star hotel nearby. I regret not leaving after the first night.
However, the next day, just after 12 PM, they called our room, urging us to check out quickly. I reminded them that we had arranged a late checkout the night before, but the hotel staff claimed they had no record of it in their system and that rooms were in high demand, demanding we check out within 10 minutes.
Seriously, do not choose this hotel. They have absolutely no credibility.
