NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard in Bangkok

I heard this hotel was renovated in 2024, so I expected a certain standard. However, upon entering, it felt like a typical old-fashioned lobby hotel. I had booked a deluxe room with a bathtub and requested a king-size bed, but at check-in, the staff told me I was getting two single beds and no bathtub, which was quite disappointing. After I pushed back, within three minutes, they said they had a room with a king-size bed they could arrange for me. They ended up putting me in room 608. Upon entering, there was a strong, musty smell, like it hadn't been occupied in a long time. The children's room also had a balcony, but to my surprise, there was a short sky bridge leading directly to the back stairwell entrance of the adjacent building. There were also some 'monsters' (insects) on the wall. Since I was in a rush to go out, I didn't pay much attention then, but the next morning, I immediately went to the front desk to complain. Without much discussion, they transferred me to a room on the 9th floor. This experience tells me that countless other guests must have had the same issues with that room. The only good thing is its proximity to Nana station, just 3-4 minutes away. However, the surrounding area looks like an old district, predominantly populated by people of Indian or Middle Eastern descent. Most eateries serve Indian food, so I didn't eat any meals in the vicinity. I hope the hotel seriously considers not letting other guests stay in that room.

Only one down negative side
This hotel has hidden policy that you can't invite more than one registered guest during your entire stay
If you want to have a different guest they will unfairly charge you 1500bht which doesn't make any common sense
If the room is booked for to adults I believe I have the right to invite whom I want every single night regardless whatsoever

The place was very good. It was very luxurious, but the staff needs to be a little bit up to the park when it comes to hospitality service management.

Absolutely amazing hotel in the heart of Sukhumvit. This was my second stay here. Very clean, great staff, pool area has limited sunbeds & took a while for us to get one but plenty of seating areas (we had 2 rest days in Bangkok before we moved to another city). Highly recommend

Location : little bit far from NANA BTS station but acceptable
We needed to wait for Check-in about 10-15min and the room was not ready at 4pm (needed to wait another 10-15min)
Breakfast is excellent!
Check-out was very smoothly.
There were enough complemental bottle water supplied in the room everyday.
Evening/night was rather noisy (outside hotel)
However generally satisfied with the stay

Very nice hotel got a great room high with amazing views of the city-elevators a bit slow . Reakfast many variety and good selection. Staff professional and polite . Close to nana station and good food and and clean massage places for remedial massages around.
