Shanghai Mansion Bangkok Hotel in Bangkok

Stayed for 2 nights, wish it had been longer. Probably the best hotel that we’ve ever stayed in. The room (205) was beautiful and spacious. They had thought of everything. Although my wife did say that they could have done with a light over the mirror.

Service was outstanding and they couldn’t do enough for us, we felt like royalty.

Bar area was lively with live music every night and the cocktails were fabulous. Not the cheapest but well worth it.

Would we stay here again? Without a shadow of doubt of course we would

The Mu Dan suite was spacious and the A/C worked really well. Breakfast had a nice selection of fruit, and the complimentary 2-3 pm afternoon tea on Thursday was a pleasant surprise .

The location is located at the hear of Bangkok China town. So happening here and nice. No need to worry about food.

The location of the Shanghai Mansion was perfect for exploring Chinatown. The room was very spacious and decorated to fit the old style Chinese vibe. The Red Rose lounge on the first floor plays live jazz music in the evenings. The staff was also very friendly. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing I would note is that the room did get warm, and the AC was not very powerful. Also, the restroom area of the room had a strong sewage odor.

Spent 3 days there at end of 3 month vacation. Location in heart of Chinatown. Great jazz bar. Excellent service..... do not expect early check in. It met my expectations and my favorite

Brilliant location for a fantastic time in Bangkok in the centre of China Town. The service from check in to check out was first rate. Whilst we stayed there was a private function that we were told about including drums and lion dancers. We were invited to enjoy the spectacle alongside the guests. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a great choice. Our room was very clean and the Maid who was called Smile left us little notes and an elephant made out of a towel on our arrival. We were 15 minutes walk from the river taxi.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shanhai Mansion Hotel. At first we were given a room that was too small and less comfortable for us. We contacted Paula, the manager, and we felt that she was trying to do everything she could to help us. Despite the busy schedule, she managed to find a great solution for us and we got a great room, one of the best, and even a discount voucher for cocktails in the lobby. Many thanks to Paula and all the hotel staff, who were all very pleasant.

Beuatiful hotel to stay …location perfect to explore chinatown & nearby seafood restaurant.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for six nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a refined and peaceful atmosphere. The entire hotel had a very elegant and well-maintained feel to it. What made our stay even more special was the staff — they were consistently polite, warm, and genuinely helpful. No matter what we needed, they were always ready to assist us with a smile.

We stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious, beautifully arranged, and clearly prepared with great care. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and every detail — from the decor to the amenities — made us feel relaxed and well taken care of.

One of my favorite parts was definitely the breakfast. The variety was impressive, with plenty of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their hospitality and kindness. We would gladly stay here again.
