We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. Although the service was not included, we received fresh towels every day upon request. We were also allowed to check out later when we asked. Top - highly recommended!🫶🏽✨️

I was quite satisfied with The Deer Resort. Its location in Hang Dong is very convenient, and since I booked a family room, having a balcony was a great bonus. If I visit Hang Dong, Chiang Mai again, I would definitely choose The Deer Resort.

Extremely comfortable, with great views and a delicious breakfast. My daughter had an amazing time! The female staff member who spoke Chinese was incredibly warm and attentive. There's also a kids' play area in the lobby with LEGOs. When we checked out, they even gave my daughter a My Little Pony doll. She was absolutely thrilled!

The environment here is absolutely wonderful. Waking up early to the sound of birds and seeing the sunlight stream into the wooden room is incredibly relaxing. It's a really laid-back vibe. You can just chill on the balcony and chat with friends.

All the staff are super, super nice, with excellent and gentle service. The whole place gives off a very relaxed feel.

However, there were a couple of minor issues. First, the toilet paper supply was definitely insufficient. One roll was very small, and two people using the bathroom morning and night often had to grab tissues from the living room. But they did bring more quickly when requested, so hopefully, that'll be improved next time I visit.

celebrated my dad’s 73 birthday here!
he said out of 10 hotels we stayed at this is “Heaven on earth”. The pool is HUGE, the area is immaculately cared for, rooms are spacious and the LEGO and wide selection of books in the lobby, make me wish we stayed here for the whole month!

During my stay, afternoon tea for two was only offered once: I didn't get to use it, even though I was told the time was 4:04 PM.

One airport pickup (9 AM to 9 PM, book one day in advance with the hotel): Didn't use it. A large taxi van from the airport cost 600B.

Mini-bar provided on check-in day: Didn't touch it. It was just two Cokes and two bags of chips, roughly.

The location is way too remote. I saw reviews saying it was far when I booked, but I didn't expect it to be *this* far. I've spent almost 1000 RMB on taxis these past few days.

All the female staff inside were incredibly nice, and their Chinese was excellent 👍

The hotel looks nothing like the photos they have posted. It is not a 5 star hotel. For the price that we’ve paid, it was very disappointing to arrive at the hotel to see the run downed property located in front of a housing compound.

The staff showed us to the room and when we asked if there was a room on the second floor, she informed us that the property was full, however, since arriving, we’ve only seen 3 guests in the property.

We stayed for 1 night as I am in town to for personal business, but we woke up at 6.30am to leave right away due to how uncomfortable it was to stay in the room. The bed was old and hard, and starting to bend in the middle. The bathroom had a strange smell, and you could see black mold forming around in the shower.

The hotel uses the “leave a review, get free coffee” tactic to get good ratings.

Least to say it was one of the most disappointing places I’ve stayed in.

Overall, the facilities are good, but the location is too remote. It's suitable for guests who don't plan to go out much from the hotel or who have rented a car for convenient self-guided travel.

**Facilities**: The room is quite spacious, and the air conditioning is very strong. However, there's an issue with the shower water not being hot. Luckily, the weather was warm; otherwise, it would have been unbearable. Also, the drainage is poor, and the shower water takes a long time to drain.

**Hygiene**: It's okay. The pool water is quite clean and clear, but unfortunately, I didn't get to swim.

**Environment**: Secluded and quiet.

**Service**: The service attitude is quite good, but there's a significant problem: the breakfast variety is very limited, and there are no warming measures. Eating at 8 AM, everything is already cold. That's quite a letdown.

This Chinese-friendly hotel is perfect for Chinese travelers on vacation. Not only does the front desk speak Chinese, but the hotel also offers airport pick-up service. Seeing a driver holding a sign right after getting off the plane felt incredibly welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, each a standalone villa. The hotel boasts a large swimming pool and a Chiang Mai-themed photo wall. It's ideal for a trip with friends or a family getaway.
