Such a great hotel! Everything you need! Great bed, stunning pool and breakfast. Staff were lovely!! Highly recommend.

This is the hotel I stayed at for 0.5 nights.
If you walk down the alley from Chala Number 6, you'll find Chala Number 2.
I tried to check in late at night, but there was no staff, so I almost had a bad experience. ㅠㅠ
Luckily, the WhatsApp number was posted on the door, so I sent a WhatsApp message and the Chala Number 6 staff came. Just for reference~
They provide free snacks and other things, and there's even a space for playing pool. Haha
I didn't try the pool,
and the room wasn't that great. However, considering the price, I think it was just okay.
The only downside was that the window was small at the top, and the blackout curtains didn't cover it properly,
so I was left with the morning sun overhead. ㅠ
On the plus side, I stayed at Chala Number 6 right afterward, and the staff helped me move all my luggage there. ^^

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Chala Number 2! We stayed for 6 nights, and our room was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for restful nights. The staff were genuinely kind and went above and beyond to be helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable.

Each morning, we looked forward to a delicious, full breakfast, and our in-room fridge was restocked daily with complimentary snacks and bottled water. A thoughtful touch we loved was the afternoon snacks set out in the lobby—it made us feel truly pampered.

Our bathroom was perfect—spotless and well-equipped with high-quality amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, all with a lovely fragrance. While we had read reviews mentioning a smell, we didn’t notice anything at all.

We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool, which was a perfect retreat. If you're looking for exceptional service and a boutique hotel experience, Chala Number 2 is the place to be. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of everything in the historic center.

A special shoutout to the team for their kindness—I accidentally left my AirPods in the pocket of a hotel robe, and they went out of their way to track them down and send them back to me by courier. Such a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture!

Room and bathroom so badly designed , impossible to use tiny sink , shelf over it makes it dangerous.
WC too cose to shower, no bed side locker … would never stay again because of bathroom.
Nice staff. Terrible building design.

Good location, great service/people, clean, free bikes, included breakfast and tea time snacks.
Not too good: smell in the bathroom, tiny sink not easy to use, pigeons in the pool area, small high windows in room

The hotel is very close to the temple.
But the water in the room is either very hot or very cold.
Then the room charges for slippers, remember not to take them away.
The hotel provides toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap.
