Green Palace Hotel in Chiang Mai City

This is a scam and unethical hotel!

I had reserved a deluxe room, but I was given a standard, budget room without my consent or any updates until I reached the room. They downgraded my room without any prior discussion, citing the reason that the deluxe room did not have WiFi and fully booked. I do not recall requesting a WiFi has to be downgrade, so that means a cheap room has a better service than a deluxe room

And the price does not match the description in the photos.

Subsequently, I requested a deluxe room to inspect however what i found that it was identical to a standard double bed room, without selling the room photos as description despite being labelled as deluxe.

The establishment provided no reimbursement, refund or apology for this discrepancy. Their response was simply to acknowledge the situation without taking any action, behaving in a deceitful manner.
Despite having paid for a deluxe room, the customer service was even lacking.

They believe that tourists are easily deceived. Just wait for the booking platform to contact you soon. Lets report this hotel and see how much they can take in the future before the accommodation provider closed their business.

This is ridiculous, right.

The worst hotel in my life. The cleaning staffs threw my retainers to the garbage and they lost it. So i reported to the hotel manager and they said very very politely to me that they would take a responsibility by paying me for half price of a retainer. 2 months later, nothing transferred to my bank account. I tried to contact them on the LINE application but no response. I called them and they told me that don’t contact them again because i don’t have a proof. It sounds like they’ve planned it to be ended up like this😥 this is very bad service and poor manners. Also the hotel is very old and dirty. There are so many hotel in Chiangmai that have the similar prices and much better service, manner, responsibility, cleanliness, and better room in Nimmanhaeminda.
