Hop Inn Chiang Mai (SHA Extra Plus) in Chiang Mai City

I had a pleasant stay at Hop Inn Chiang Mai. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around the city and access nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants.

The room was simple but clean and well-maintained, which is exactly what you’d expect from this brand. The bed was especially comfortable consistent with Hop Inn’s standard making it easy to get a good night’s rest after a long day out. The room also comes with essential amenities like air conditioning, a smart TV that allows you to connect to your own streaming services, a small fridge, and a work desk, which are more than enough for a short stay.

In addition, the hotel offers free parking and reliable Wi-Fi, which is a big plus for both business and leisure travelers. Even though it’s a budget hotel, the security system and keycard access made me feel safe throughout my stay.

Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers looking for a budget-friendly hotel that delivers reliable comfort, cleanliness, and a convenient location.

The room was spotless. Value for money

Check in was smooth. The room wasn't cleaned properly. There was still hair everywhere on the floor. The room gets really hot but the AC worked well. Good shower and hot water. The bed is soft. Wifi was good.

There is a music restaurant and bar that is opposite of the hotel, I love it!

At front desk, they have snack, beverage and a lot of amenities for you to buy ( in case you forgot to bring them with you and don’t want to go to 7-11😅)

I enjoyed my stay here as it was a clean and modern room with not a single bug, even when I opened the window. Towels were very clean and they left bottles of water and toilet paper as I didn’t want my room cleaned daily. Receptionists are very helpful when I had problems. It’s close to 7-eleven, Maya shopping centre/Nimman area and the airport.

Cons
People were very loud walking through corridors and slamming doors close (due to the door locks). There is some loud traffic outside too so bring earplugs. No hairdryer or security box.

The accommodation is new, clean, and well-maintained, meeting the Hop Inn standard.
The front desk staff are friendly and provide standard service.
The housekeeping staff are very attentive. When we didn't want our room cleaned and happened to encounter a housekeeper, she thoughtfully asked if we needed anything extra like drinking water, tissues, or fresh towels.
Behind the hotel, there's a motorcycle rental shop, and in front, there's a night hangout spot. The distance to walk out of the alley is not tiring.

Overall, I'm impressed and might return if I have the chance.
