Buri Siri Hotel in Chiang Mai City

The hotel's location is very convenient, but the rooms facing the street were incredibly noisy at night. The bar across the street was open until very late, and the loud motorcycles were particularly disruptive; I was woken up in the middle of the night. I didn't get a good night's sleep either night.

While breakfast was a buffet, the offerings were very basic and uninspired, not particularly tasty. Furthermore, an incident related to breakfast left a very bad taste in my mouth. My reservation clearly included breakfast, but the front desk almost got it wrong on the first day of check-in. I thought they would correct it, but then on the second morning when I went for breakfast, I was unreasonably questioned again, told I didn't have breakfast, and asked to go confirm with the front desk. I immediately and angrily told the restaurant attendant that she should go confirm it herself, as it was her job. After she went to check, she didn't question me again, so it seems it was their mistake, but there was no apology or gesture of regret whatsoever. This gave me an exceptionally bad experience and completely soured my impression of this hotel!
