Good location and a lovely place.
However, check-in is self-service, and it may not be suitable for solo travelers as it doesn’t feel very safe or quiet.

I arrived quite late the first night and stayed in room number 4. This room was pitifully small, dimly lit, the sheets were patched up, and there were no slippers. The window wouldn't close, and the air conditioner was very noisy. Overall, the cleanliness was acceptable, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The next day, dissatisfied with the room, I contacted Ctrip, and they notified me in the morning that I had been moved to a room on the third floor. However, when I returned in the evening, I was told that the room had been changed again, and this time it was split into two rooms (there were no more twin rooms). I expressed my dissatisfaction, and the owner simply said that if we didn't stay, we could get a refund, which was very unfriendly. In the end, I had no choice but to stay in rooms 3 and 5. The windows and doors in these rooms couldn't be closed properly; they could be opened easily. Room 5 had the constant sound of a water pump running all night, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, the experience was extremely poor. I don't know where the 4.8 rating came from? The only good thing was that it was very close to Nimman Road, and the Thai breakfast was passable.

Very good location, human touch
There are only four flavors to choose from for breakfast, the portion is just right, but they are all delicious👍
Breakfast on the day of check-out, and a piece of cake was given as a birthday gift, it's really a thoughtful management ❤️
The only downside is that the electric water heater cannot provide enough water for showering immediately, otherwise the water will be cold; the mattress is deformed, so people who care should evaluate it themselves. There is no elevator, but a large staircase, and the highest floor is only 3 floors.
Overall environment: The human touch is really great, the location is superb, I hope I will have a chance to visit again next time

The house is a bit old, but the room is very clean and the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a very worthwhile hotel to visit

A gem of a place
Nice and cute hotel with amazing staff. Front desk receptionist was super cheerful and helpful and spoke good English. Location was close to many eating places and to two malls.

Hotel's owner, Manager,Housekeeper all have very much hospitality. We have very good time there. Plus they speak good Englush and Japanese also.Thank you.

I went to Chiang Mai for the first time, so I thought it would be safer to go to a place run by a Japanese person, so I made a reservation, but it wasn't there. I talked to you on the phone, but it feels like it's hard to get across?
The first room I was shown had a bad air conditioner. I was impatient because I also put cash. Before I move, I wanted to say something. It was a little disappointing.
