I arrived around 11 PM that evening. The receptionist spoke excellent English and was very friendly. There was also a security guard on night duty, so although it was a bit dark, it felt safe. It was about a 5-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which was very close. The hotel facilities and cleanliness were quite good. The sheets were indeed a bit damp, and the room had a musty smell, but I quickly got used to it. After visiting several hotels, I think most in Chiang Mai have this damp, musty smell problem. The evening was quite quiet, but the biggest problem was the chickens! They started crowing around 4 AM and continued until about 8 AM. However, the hotel provided earplugs, which helped a bit.

The room can be checked in early, the design is beautiful, very clean, the service is good, and the breakfast is delicious

Pros:
Nice and clean hotel with small pool.
The staff very helpful and serviceable.
Located close to the south east of the old city, it's easily accessible to many places.
The double room is big and comfort.
Happy hours afternoon is nice.
There is no desktop in the room but the staff brought me a table and a chair from the dining area.
Cons:
The bathroom had only shower head without a pipe.
Hot water was something not really hot.
There is no real closet so few hooks in the room to hang the coat could be appreciated.
Breakfast had choice of several options but was disappointing, without single vegetables except of one single cherry tomatoes with the scrambled eggs.

Simply lovely property. Great value for money and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they helped us book a trip to Chiang Rai.
I would definitely book again and highly recommend it - everything was perfect!

Great location , walking distance to Big C supermarket and eateries. Away from the husle busle ! Our second stay at this cosy resort !

Before booking, I saw this hotel not far from the old city. It was called Chiang Mai Grand Hotel. It sounded like it should be a very big hotel.
Unexpectedly, the gap between reality and ideals was still quite far away. I took a taxi and took a roundabout way to a very secluded alley. Then the driver pointed to a small door and said, this is your hotel.
I'm dizzy, is this Chiang Mai Hotel? The staff is also relatively indifferent. Although there is a swimming pool, it is really not big. It feels like two or three people can fill the swimming pool.
The key point is that there is nothing to eat, drink or play nearby, not even a 711. The cloth in the room was also quite average, and the bed grass on it was stained. The only thing worthy of praise is the toiletries used inside, which smell very good. 😓
If it costs more than 300 yuan, it is not recommended that you book this hotel.

The hotel staff was very friendly. I had to go out at 6:30 in the morning to join the tour. I told them the night before that they had a takeaway breakfast ready when I left. It was a reception! The room was nice and no one needed it. There is a small terrace and a swimming pool for $200. The location is close to the city center, but it is quiet and dark. It is recommended to call grab back to the hotel at night.
