Robinson Khao Lak is a beautifully landscaped beach resort 1. 5 hours north of Phuket International Airport. It's "out of the way" of the heavily touristed Phuket island and that's the main reason I selected it
Great resort with lots of activities and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Was low season so was not busy but still there was lots of activities on offer each day
Fantastic resort with wonderful facilities extremely good staff right on the beach beautiful to And fantastics sauna
Our stay at Robinson the was great. It was the end of our trip with two sets of parents, and the perfect place to wind down and relax on a beautiful beach. The staff was excellent and made us feel immediately welcomed
The biggest positives in our view: Staff, cleanliness, immaculate grounds, breakfast, gym/basketball/sports courts, and the great beach
Outstanding hotel with the best food we have ever enjoyed in a resort and top class sports facilities. Evening entertainment is a little limited but tjat wasnt pur reason for booking.

We made our reservation only about 30 minutes before arriving, yet everything was perfectly arranged and prepared for us. The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive
A wonderful hotel in a minimalist style, everything is white, clean, beautiful, excellent breakfasts with a large selection, beautiful pool areas, the hotel staff is very friendly, smiling and attentive
The high tea was absolutely superb. We visit England often and have enjoyed many high teas there, but we have never had one as good as this
This is the best resort we have ever stayed at. Everything feels so luxe, from the rooms, the pools, the service to the buffet breaky! When we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, cold towels and a welcome drink
There was also an issue with pool towels — one day there were no towels available at all. We were told that the supply vehicle had been in an accident, but there had already been a shortage the day before
One important thing to note is that there is no elevator to the rooms. We were on the third floor, which can be inconvenient if you have strollers, heavy luggage, or when going up and down from the pool
Great resort. Thai Village rooms are very nice. Great pool by the beach. Good buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
The resort’s beachfront location means you can enjoy sunrise walks or evening strolls with ease. In terms of location, it’s hard to beat
Not too far from main area, within walking distance but quieter. Room is a bit old. The pool and facilities are well maintained.
The resort I itself was good and full of amenities and well located as its quiet but close to many places as well, however the service was lacking as there was barely any attention paid to guests
For more extensive shopping, Central Koh Samui is just about 20 minutes walk, making it incredibly convenient without being noisy or crowded
The property is within walking distance of Chaweng’s main street, where you’ll find lively restaurants, bars, and shops
Good rooms with everything you need. We had a small balcony with the view over the pool and to the (not so romantic) beach
Great hotel with friendly staff and great services. They have a great breakfast area and two pools with Seaview, a downstairs gym and a steam room for males and females
Very nice and comfortable hotel 🏨, it located near the beach 🏖️ and easy access to attraction places in Pattaya.
The pool area made me feel a kind of sad over the lack of charm, but the water was nice and clean like the hotel in general. Breakfast was a good standard with nothing missing and the staff was service minded overall
Queues apparently took 45 mins to 1 hour, we didn’t have to wait to check in at Way Hotel. We could also see the beach party set up at Zign hotel from our balcony
The location is within walking distance to Mars Pattaya Cafe and close to sanctuary of truth, a short driving or grab distance from central Pattaya but located in close proximity to a lot of delicious local Thai restaurants

Pattaya Discovery Beach Hotel is a beautiful beachfront property offering stunning sea views, spacious rooms, and excellent amenities
Well located right on Beach Road and a short walk from the sandy beach, the hotel was well placed for my stay and in a lively area. My room was spacious and clean and had a nice view of the bay from the balcony
The breakfast buffet was tasty and had plenty of variety. I loved the main pool, which is large, clean and nicely kept, with plenty of loungers and shade
There’s also a smaller pool near the tower building that’s a bit quieter if you prefer somewhere more peaceful
right along Beach Road, close to Walking Street, shopping areas, and local restaurants. Guests can enjoy a large outdoor pool, fitness center, and a relaxed tropical atmosphere
Pattaya Discovery Beach Hotel is a Domestic 5 star hotel situated in the north of Pattaya. A beautiful beach stretches right in front of the hotel just across the road
I enjoyed the hotel for the second summer. It is so cozy, close to the beach and quiet at the same time. Simply happy! Thank you! Staff is really friendly and helpful, they solved all the issues occurred rather quickly
Hotel was great, good selection for breakfast. Walking distance to the beach and surrounding restaurants and public transport. Room services daily and received 2 bottles of water daily
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great New Year’s stay with a lovely surprise upgrade
I stayed at Andaman Seaview Hotel from 31 December to 1 January with my mother to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Karon Beach, and overall it was a very pleasant experience
The hotel has 2 pools and across the street from Karon Beach 🏖️
Special thanks to the Hotel Manager for her professionalism. PS: the cat name is Misha please give her some love ❤️
Hotel has 2 nice pools ans rooms are spacious. They have a decent breakfast spread. Not very vegetarian friendly but still good. They provide beach towels and beach bag
Only issue I had was the shower head lacked pressure, preferred the bathtub as it has better pressure and the air conditioning did stop working a few times during my stay, was easily fixed once reported it to reception though

The room is delightful, has a modern minimalistic feel/look. Is very spacious with plenty of storage spaces. With its 2 terraces, it affords excellent views over the city and across the bay to the town
The rooms are a bit old and the facilities are showing their age, but the view is nice and the service was great. There's a shuttle bus to Terminal 21, and the overall service is quite good
perfect place to relax by the sea , spacious rooms, and a peaceful private beach.
The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset .
Highly recommended for a luxury getaway in Pattaya
I was pretty satisfied with this hotel. It's great for a vacation, with a swimming pool and a beach. There's also a shuttle service if you want to go out
However, Terminal 21 shopping mall, which everyone online recommends, really doesn't have much to see. So, I think just staying at the hotel is a good option
The hotel views are indeed great, but there doesn't seem to be much else around
Karon, 558/1 Patak Rd, Karon, Amphoe, Mueang Phuket 🧭 Map
The hotel is not far from the sea, and you can see it from the rooftop. There's a swimming pool on the roof as well. Breakfast is a buffet with very delicious food.
The rooftop pool is a highlight, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding landscape. Additionally, it’s just a few minutes' walk from Karon Beach
Everything was great! The rooms were clean and cozy! The location is superb!
Great hotel ! Very clean, spacious room , nice location clase to shops and beach, kind staff and nice view from pool.
Highly recommended!
Enjoyed our stay here. No complaints. Nice view from rooftop pool. Bathrooms were very big & accessible. Comfy & Big bed
The pool uses a lot of chemicals you can taste ,
Location was great , breakfast was so so , Thai variant on a western diet. So far the only place on the trip I would not return to
Moved to the Premier Deluxe zone, much more comfortable and with a partial view of the sea. Service was exceptional (as usually is in good level hotels in Thailand). Very nice breakfast with a lot of choices
Our only small quibble was the lack of sunloungers, though we appreciate the high occupancy whilst we were there. Nice room, some small plumbing issues though. I guess island amenities!
Overall an excellent stay
When I arrived, the location they gave me was indeed good, the second row from the sea. Let's talk about the pros:
1. **Price**: It's the cheapest among all room types
The second time I booked a premier room for 2 nights in the Sai Kaew Resort. You get into the hotel and just feel well. It's modern, clean, quiet. Good breakfast (please offer bananas and nutella in future).
The whole travel to and from the island via the ferry and cars where your luggage is delivered to your room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent
If you rent a scooter, getting to the beach is incredibly fast, and it's only about a ten-minute walk. The hotel is also very, very close to a street food area where the snacks are cheap and delicious
The price of this hotel varies greatly between the off-season and peak season, but the hotel facilities are truly excellent. The rooms are laid out with a separate kitchen, living room, and bedroom
The hotel itself has three swimming pools, and the reception hall is very spacious. The breakfast in the morning is also quite good. The location is also very convenient
In the evenings, there's a lively bar street nearby. There's also a highly-rated and very clean 'The One Thai Massage' shop (Branch 1) near the hotel, which offers purely green services
You need to book your massage in advance, otherwise, you'll have to wait a long time. I recommend the 300 baht an hour option; it's very relaxing and stretches you out nicely
A very nice serviced apartment, very comfortable, with an excellent location. There's a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and a pedestrian street nearby, all within walking distance.
Good location nearby the patong beach and the facilities also good with children ..the pool is suitable for child and adults..the breakfast seem bit pricey thb3xx per pad with limited choice
Very close to every spots in Pa Tong area. All walking distance for sure. Hotel offers beach towels and bag as well for you to enjoy the moment in the beach! I felt room was little humidity.
The pool was very nice, building works is happening around which was a shame. The room was large but no view unfortunately on most rooms.
Good location near to beach and restaurant. Hotel bed is very comfortable. Overall everything are good. Very satisfied. 👍👍👍
Lovely experience staying at Beyond. So close to the beach! Many restaurants, bars, massage places close to the hotel
Red Planet Hotel Pattaya - near the city center & beach; shopping, restaurants & bars nearby and also close to Walking Street.
Very basic room. Not even a glass to put your tooth brush in; both soap dispensers were broken. However, location is great, walking distance from the all the nightlife/beach
The room is small but modern and cozy. It smells good and I like that it has both a/c and a ceiling fan. They don't provide water bottles but you can fill up your own bottle downstairs or get hot water
Accommodation Quality
Cleanliness and comfort of the room. Modern or luxurious furnishings. Great amenities (comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, quality toiletries)
I really appreciated her kindness& concern. ( Finally I got public motorbike from an Transport App. )
CON: a little far from Pattaya beach
They also had 2 computers in the lobby for anyone to use. Never seen that before at a hotel. The location makes it easy to get anywhere on the baht bus
The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, with the beach just a few steps down from the property. You can enjoy your meals at the restaurant while admiring the sea view. The rooms are also very spacious
Our room was spacious and spotless. The hotel boasts a beautiful setting, a massive swimming pool, and a tennis court. They even offer a complimentary buggy service to take guests to play
Great experience. Love the pool, it goes around the whole resort. The breakfast is fantastic. The staff are really kind and always happy to help. Would recommend coming here 👍
The underlying quality and grand design are clearly still there, which is truly impressive! A big plus was also the horseback riding available right on the beach
We have our best memories here the staff was super super cute and humble and helpful I've for the room set up for our honeymoon and it was 0 fee charge then they were even provided cake for our special day moreover the night we spent i got food poisoned like really bad and stay up all night guest what when I was back from hospital and arrived at the front desk they provided me late check out for 2...
I first stayed here over ten years ago and just revisited. While the hotel now shows its age a bit, its facilities and garden design are still absolutely impeccable
There hotel provided clean towels and pool towels, bottled and filtered water and amazing to use a dehumidifier in the room as the last time we started in Thailand, there was so much moisture in the room which led to the dampness and damp smell
Location - it is a little drive to the main party of town about 10 minutes but amazing to have beach side restaurants and shops just outside the hotel
Luxurious resort, with great staff and friendly service. Mohan shone as an exemplary employee. Say 'Hi' to him of you catch him at 'The Bar'. Plenty of restaurants offering a full array of Thai and Western foods
We had a swim out room and that was amazing to have! We went with family so it was great to just swim to their rooms. The hotel is a little tired but overall was a nice hotel and staff
From breakfast to dessert the food was delicious and plentiful. I had a chicken parmigiana and my daughter had a carbonara pasta that were easily the best that we have ever had
Selection at times were limited and after a while you tend to have the same things but more reason to try the restaurants in the area
The only minor inconvenience is the lack of power sockets near the bed. Toiletries are decent, and they provide extra towels for the pool or beach
This place is located on the main road in Kata. The rooms and swimming pool are well maintained. The breakfast buffet was decent as well. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.
The pool is large and beautiful, especially at night with the decorative lights and palm trees. It’s quite shallow (about 1m deep) but great for relaxing
If something is finished, there is no refill. Specially this one who puts a lot of make up on. I speak Thai but she didn’t realize I do. The other one leaves me standing talking to her and goes to pick her grab order
3/5
The hotel has two pools, they are clean and well-maintained, but the pool bar has been closed for a long time. No entertainment in the hotel. 3/5
Rooms are cleaned every day, even if you don’t want it
Housekeeping knocks loudly even with a “SLEEPing” sign. And can enter in after a one knock. Rooms have Wi-Fi, safe, fridge, aircon, TV, shower, etc. 3/5
Staff at reception are very nice and helpful
Sunbeds can be an issue around the pool but the beach was our preferred choice which was really nice. Food on site was okay and the Club Lounge is also worth joining
Best hotel I have stayed in Hua Hin! Location, facilities and swimming pool area are absolutely stunning for a good afternoon swim.
Staff were very good. Large pool area to relax and swim. Breakfast was a highlight and we'll presented.
The proximity and access to the beach was amazing. There were no chairs on the beach like pictured but I believe a storm had recently come by
Not enough beach in the high tide to take a walk but they have a nice walking trail beside. Beds are comfortable, room was clean
Wonderful beach front hotel with magnificent views of the Gulf Of Thailand. Hotel is located no more than 5 mins by taxi just North of Hua Hin AIrport and 15 mins by taxi to the main Market Village Mall of the City
The pool on the floor above me was small with sunbeds but no umbrellas which was strange. It made a welcome change to sitting on the beach with the sand getting everywhere
Great location to the beach at your doorstep.
Both pools were fantastic.
Great stay.
Its location is excellent, being close to both the beach and a 7-Eleven. There are also many street food vendors selling delicious options right outside in the mornings and evenings, which was a huge plus
A very convenient hotel adjacent to the beach. The staff are very polite, active, friendly and service minded. I will definitely come back here again very soon.
Room was perfect, 17th floor pool and gym was just perfect. Just remember to bring your towel from your room
Great location, close to the beach, and excellent service. However, the room was a bit dated.
Great location and grounds with mature trees and well tended gardens. Pool and beach have plenty of seating scattered in the gardens. Food was good served in 2 restaurants
Rooms spacious and well equipped but chose carefully as some face into dark courtyards. Worth extra to get grounds or pool view
We always had enough space for our own, the rooms are big, there are enough seats at the beach and the pool and also enough tables at the breakfast buffet. We checked out very early and our luggage was picked up in time
We especially liked the balcony area, which was nice for sitting and enjoying the quiet surroundings. The resort has several swimming pools, and we enjoyed spending time by the pool and walking around the property
The resort is surrounded by nature, with lots of greenery, big trees, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately makes you feel calm. It feels very different from busy resorts, which is exactly what we were looking for
They made us feel welcome throughout our stay without being too formal or distant. Overall, Khaolak Merlin Resort is a great choice if you want a quiet, nature-focused stay in Khao Lak
One issue is sunbeds, get down to the pool after 9am and towels left out but no one visits all day. Staff try their best to manage this but unfortunately a lot of the hotel residents were very selfish and rude
That said, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Kata beach
The hotel was very nice and we had a pleasant stay. The only downside is that we were suppose to stay in a Seaview room, but I can only call the room that we got "partial seaview" at best
Almost had to climb out to see the ocean, because we could only see the pool from inside
We noticed that our room (on the second floor, at the furthest end) was the room room that did not have an additional windows on the outside wall either
The other rooms above us had a window so that it was easier to see the sea when you're on the balcony. Felt a bit cheated and scammed
