Overall, it's pretty good and quiet. There's a songthaew right outside the door, which is super convenient. It's also very close to the Lan Po seafood market, and they even offer free breakfast from 6-10 AM!
The room is spacious and comes with several pillows. There is a large 55-inch smart TV. The water pressure is strong and the air conditioner is cold. The food selection is varied considering the price.
The hotel is clean and has good amenities, yet some of their receptionists can't communicate in English very well.
I originally booked four nights at this hotel but only stayed for two before moving to another one. The room was clean, and the environment was decent, but there was an odd smell coming from the bathroom
Great value for money, but don't expect much from the food. There are a lot of Chinese tour groups, so every morning you'll see buses checking out, and every evening buses arriving
The water pressure was unstable when showering at night. And just look at the pipe next to the toilet – I was genuinely worried it might burst at any moment

Very nice hotel. Bed super comfy. Breakfast intercontinental and Asian - very good with nice views. Pool refreshing. Gym equipped very well and professional. Would recommend!
A special shout-out to the dark-skinned, big-eyed gentleman at the front desk who spoke Chinese; he was exceptionally polite and even helped me book a restaurant – thank you! On the first day of Chinese New Year, there was even a lion dance performance
The location is quite convenient, and overall it was a good stay. The breakfast at the high-rise restaurant had a fantastic ambiance and a wide variety of options, though the food quality could use a slight improvement
I was very satisfied with my first stay at this hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The rooftop restaurant had a great ambiance, and all the staff were incredibly warm and polite
Great experience at Ascott Embassy Sathorn. Front office & service staff were so attentive & efficient, probably one of the best Ascott properties we had stayed at so far. Loved the gym!
I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit! If I had to pick a fault, it would be the location; Sathorn Road right outside the hotel is incredibly congested, but that's not the hotel's fault
The hotel is just gorgeous! I think he's the best, or well one of the best in Bangkok! Well, the staff is sooooo friendly. Thai, Chinese, etc well, very big. There is a pool I do not remember on what floor
Direct, level access via a bridge from the hotel elevator to the MRT. The infinity pool is lovely with shaded seating areas. Pleasant pool bar, good service. Good breakfast buffet with a wide selection
We loved the location; just one MRT stop away, you're on the Chao Phraya River with either express boats or tourist boats, which offer convenient access to many attractions
Good hotel with a great pool with views. The water could be a little bit warmer.
The room was spacious and had an amazing view. Would definitely come back.
Fitness: The hotel's swimming pool is my absolute favorite. Surrounded by skyscrapers, it's shaded in the morning, perfect for lounging on a chair and enjoying the breeze – that's what a holiday should feel like
Another highlight was the pool area: it was never crowded, and we could always find available sun loungers, both in the morning and evening

The room with pool view is big, and the balcony is large with a sofa for sitting. I can't recommend staying here enough
The room was a bit small, but the hotel environment was great. The pool was huge and not too crowded.
The only downside is that when you walk over the bridge to your room, you have to walk over the sewage stream. This is obviously out of the control of the resort, and does it's best to mask the sight and smell
The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, which makes it feel calm and relaxing despite its central location near Walking Street and the beach
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, with comfortable beds and nice balconies. The swimming pools are large and perfect for both adults and children, and the garden area is beautifully designed
Breakfast offers a good variety of Asian and international dishes. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help

Very nice pool with direct sunlight. The staff is so helpful and always try their best to accommodate our requests.
My kids loved the hotel pool, and the food at the poolside restaurant was delicious. The hotel also has a tennis court, but it's hard to book a slot
The room service was prompt and efficient however the flavour was somewhat lacking. The breakfast buffet was reasonable however not the best that I’ve had would stay again simply because of the price and service
Valet parking is also available, making the arrival experience smooth and convenient. The room was very spacious, with a large and comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep
The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained, and the service is quite good. There are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient
The facilities were very good with a special mention going out to the gym which was huge for a hotel gym and had a lot of new Technogym equipment
There is a wonderful pool on the property with areas for both children and adults. I think I was lucky with my hotel choice, and considering the price is reasonable, I will stay here again
It's a beautiful hotel by the sea. It has a wonderful garden and a large pool. The location is peaceful and quiet. There's no annoying loud traffic or bar noise. The staff is friendly and helpful
A nice hotel with a beautiful area and its own excellent beach. The breakfasts are good, with a choice of Asian and European cuisine, as well as fruits, greens, and pastries. There is a wide selection of juices
Pool is good and the gym is well-equipped. Great sea views and sunsets, breakfast buffet very good. Decor is a little dated but the price is fantastic for what’s provided
Nice place for staying. This time I stayed for several days on Christmas time. The hotel was full of visitors. I liked their beautiful garden and the beach in this season.
The only downside (and that is the reason my rating was less-than-excellent) is that this affordability attracts loads of buses loaded with tourists from various countries and that can create a kind-of-chaos (including noise)
We enjoyed the outdoor pool and other hotel facilities. The location was amazing - very central, in the heart of the shopping district. But above all, it was the staff at the hotel who made us feel at home
Our hotel stay was exceptional!! The staff went out of their way to ensure it!! The hotel itself is beautiful - traditional thai architecture, with a very warm feel. Our room was spacious and clean
Its one of the best hotels in the area. Well kept and clean. Also a great location if you are in bangkok for the markets and shopping
Great place right in the heart of Bangkok very clean and quiet with pleanty of markets and food every where
I think this place is underrated
It seems to have been built a long time ago and is not popular anymore, but I really liked it
The staff are so sweet, and there aren't many guests, but I liked its vibes
A fine hotel but one day the shower was only luke warm . And didn't get any better after running for a long time as the staff recommended we do. Not good enough for a otherwise fine hotel.
Very good hotel for families with kids. Great variety of pools and super diverse and rich kids club. Breakfast is good but not the best, same for the experienced in other hotels along the trip, probably Thai standards
We had a pool access room this time which was lovely. So nice to have a quieter swim in the afternoon after the mayhem and fun of the slides etc. This was our second visit and we had a great time
An amazing hotel with great staff.
The restaurants are just great
The pools and the beach are so much fun
The spa ....oh what a relaxing place
I just wanna go again and again
Love it ❤️
We have an enjoyable stay in The Sands. This is a kids friendly hotel, my son love the water park, pool, room. Environment very nice, breakfast have a lot of choice
They could make small adjustments such as not putting all the kids plates and cutlery underneath the drinks station at breakfast creating quite a bit of congestion but obviously that’s just a small detail
Hotel is Hugh, there is a lake with fishes and birds which the fed every day for kids experience
Traveling solo, I'd really recommend this hotel. Even though the facilities are a bit old, the environment is nice and the room is very spacious. I suggest everyone book their rooms through Trip
The floor-to-ceiling windows are also very comfortable. The hotel charges 249 Thai Baht per day for children's breakfast. A deposit is required upon check-in
Staff are wonderful, room was nice but basic. Cleaned daily, fresh towels and water daily. Pools are lovely but no handrails for
easy access. Lovely place but not suitable for mobile disability
The hotel's location is good, within walking distance to Kata Beach, and there are many foreign residents around
The hotel breakfast is average; I've been to Phuket many times, and for this price range, this hotel's breakfast is the worst, though it's still edible. The hotel's environment and hygiene are good, very clean
Friendly staff with good facilities. Provides beach/pool towels for your use and conveniently located at Kata area. Don’t provide toothbrush and toothpaste but you can buy them at the 7/11 nearby
In addition to delicious cuisine and a perfectly equipped gym, my personal highlight was the rooftop with pool, restaurants and bar
The hotel needs renovation, the rooms are outdated, the breakfast for Europeans has no choice and every day the same meal. Great location. Welcoming staff Great swimming pool, great view from the room
The infinity pools on the 24th and 27th floors are absolutely stunning; watching the sunset there while lounging by the pool is incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was also very rich and highly recommended
The hotel was really clean, the staff was friendly and the food was good. I really love the ambiance at the pool side
Great location! From the higher floors, you can see the coastline, and the rooftop pool is very photogenic.
The hotel provided ear plugs for everyone though
The roof top pool need to pass quit a busy bars
Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Great food, awesome swimming pool, great & fast service, clean rooms, courteous staff
Best hotel the hospitality was good the pool was good and we enjoy every moment we love to come bako
Like this place a lot, room is big and clean and the bed is so comfortable
We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel automatically upgraded our room — such a lovely and unexpected gesture!
This trip was to celebrate my birthday, so I’m truly grateful for the extra care and kindness
Nice 4 star hotel with fantastic location. Can get everything within walking distance.
But, no king size bed. Just combined 2 single beds. Like the 2 swimming pools , so that not crowded
A 7-Eleven is right next door as well, which makes everything super convenient. The only small downside is that you’ll need to take a taxi to get to the beach. Other than that, everything was great
Stunning rooms, a really cool pool that runs throughout the hotel, and the best breakfast we’ve ever had traveling. This place also has the nicest gym I’ve ever seen in a hotel
Love this hotel! I really love the environment — very natural and calm. The room looks a bit old, but it’s big and I like that it has a bathtub and direct pool access
None of the TV channels are in English but you’re on vacation so you should be watching tv anyways, and almost all the staff speak perfect English (a few exceptions that are still learning English)
It’s not right against Kata beach but it’s an easy walk and they offer a shuttle every day
The staff named Wee (not sure if I got the name right) was very kind and took good care of my baby. She was lovely and my baby enjoyed it so much
Gym room is well-equipped with machines. However, improvement need to be made on the housekeeping part. Our room didn’t refilled with enough towel and toothpaste. Even we made request by phone, we didn’t get new towels
We will come back again!
The only small issue was there was some sand in front of the door and on the table. Even after cleaning, it still appeared, and I’m not sure where it came from

Wonderful hotel, location perfect, loads of choices of sunbeds, getting 2-3 towels and fresh water and icecream, nice nearby places to have wonderful food, staff extremely friendly, breakfast over the top (including everything one can possibly think of!)
## Room:
The room was spacious enough. We booked a pool access room, which was indeed much more expensive on weekends, but perfect for families with children. ## Facilities:
Overall, the facilities were great
## Service:
The beach chairs came with towels already laid out, and free iced water was provided and refilled continuously – a nice touch. ## Stay Experience:
Overall, it was very good, meeting Marriott's standards
On the day of our arrival, when we wanted to take a shower, we noticed that only one clean towel had been provided. The other towel in the bathroom was used, wet, and dirty
The hotel has three different pools and easy access to the beach. It’s also very quiet and peaceful. There was one minor issue that slightly spoiled our stay
The adult pool had good vegetation coverage, ensuring plenty of privacy. The circular children's pool was a highlight, with multiple play areas for kids

The free weight area and the machines are in two separate spaces, and there's even a fantastic ab machine! It's a dream come true for fitness enthusiasts! They also provide free bananas for a quick carb boost
The Chiang Mai Marriott is located outside the Old City, but the location is still quite good. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tha Phae Gate and Warorot Market, and about 15 minutes to Chiang Mai Gate
The hotel is right above the Chang Khlan Road night market, which has tons of street food every night. Getting around is super convenient, whether you take a tuk-tuk or a ride-hailing service
All the staff, from management down, provide excellent service, and many of them can speak basic Chinese. I would definitely choose to stay here again
The basic room size isn't small, and it definitely meets five-star hotel standards. It's not humid at all and very comfortable
The hotel's location is super convenient, close to everything with plenty of bars, convenience stores, and street food stalls nearby. The room facilities and cleanliness were also good
She helped us take beautiful photos and prepared a lovely anniversary cake, flowers, and even a teddy bear for our daughter. Her warmth and attention to detail truly touched our hearts
Facilities: Overall pretty good, just too short a stay to experience everything. Environment: Convenient for shopping and transportation, beautiful surroundings with lots of great food nearby
The hotel kindly upgraded us to the Royal Suite, the biggest room in the hotel. It was stunning and spacious, and it made our celebration feel even more special
Service: The staff were very friendly. The snacks in the room weren't clearly labeled, so my colleague thought they all had to be paid for! 😝😝😝
The hotel's location is very convenient, and the breakfast is plentiful. Among the hotels in this area, the value for money is quite good
A very special thank you to Beem, the Guest Relations Supervisor, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect

The hotel is a bit old, but everything else is great. The location is truly central, surrounded by shopping malls, and the service is excellent. The Erawan Shrine is right outside. Staying here gives you a real city vibe
The technician team was quick in resolving the issue about 15-20 mins later. It made our 21st wedding anniversary extra special, and we will still come back for more anniversary celebrations
The facilities are a bit old, but it's a well-established hotel known for its excellent service and quick response times, plus it's conveniently located
The Chit Lom BTS station is just a stone's throw away, making both taxis and the Skytrain incredibly convenient for getting around. * Ideal for business travelers, shoppers, and those who appreciate classic luxury
**Leisure:** The pool isn't huge, better suited for relaxation than extended swimming. The spa has an excellent reputation with professional therapists. The gym is open 24/7 with a full range of equipment
**Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel
Every member of the Avani team was so warm, accommodating and caring, those smiles always light up my day. Service in all areas is more than excellent. The bar by the pool, the staff was so nice
The housekeeper did a very good job in ensuring our room’s cleanliness throughout our stay. He folded my clothes and wound my charger wire so neatly. Good job guys! We will definitely come back again
The room was just right for two people. It's in Bangkok and very clean. The location is convenient, with direct access to the MRT station. There's an authentic night market downstairs
During check in, another frontline staff (I didn’t jot down her name) also upgraded our room to 29th floor corner room so we slept and woke up to Bangkok’s beautiful view
The frontline staff Ms Pui was very accommodating as to grant us complimentary late check out. Really appreciate it as our flight was rescheduled to late evening
The location of the hotel is very convenient. When you walk into the hotel check in, the personnel are very polite. The hotel room is clean and fully equipped
The location is great and is priced accordingly. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are tidy and comfortable. The pool area is fun and the pina colada was pina colada-ing
This is a top notch hotel with instant access to the pool rightbout your back door. Nice pool bar with happy hour prices. The beds here are so soft and comfortable. The shower is awesome and there is a large tub too
The hotel was great, with a swimming pool right downstairs and a very clean room. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was really noisy
I got a room with direct pool access on the quieter side, which was super convenient. The breakfast spread was plentiful
Some items, like certain beef steaks, require an extra charge, but things like chicken wings and roast chicken are included. It's not just pizza, as some reviews suggest, and the portions are more than enough
The breakfast offered healthy and nutritious foods and the seating was comfortable and plenty. Our only concern was the thickness of the wall between rooms. Our room had a connecting door to the next door
Additionally, there are not enough cooks – getting an omelet in the morning takes ages due to lack of staff. Pool & Sunbeds: I loved the lack of loud music at the pool. However, the "sunbed management" is poor
Breakfast had so many options & everything was tasty. The friendly restaurant staff are working hard to keep everyone happy. Pool & beach area & all the grounds were well maintained
My toddler loved the 2 separate pools that were perfect for children. Massages by the spa staff were really good too. Perfect retreat location to relax
The hotel is generally lovely with lush gardens and a nice pool, although the area right by the sea feels a bit bare of vegetation. The rooms are kept clean, but you can see they are starting to show their age
Guests start reserving spots as early as 6:30 AM. Overall, a solid hotel for families (good kids' activities) and those seeking peace, but the dining experience and sunbed availability need work
Stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. Special thanks to Ryan from the Reception who helped us find a room that was better suited to my toddlers requirements. This helped make our visit much easier & happier
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be struck by the resort’s inviting ambiance — lush landscaping, beautiful pool settings, and a sense of calm that feels worlds away from Pattaya’s bustling center
The hotel is very nice. Very big room and have a two pool. Easy to walk from the room to the beach the staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed to stay here and we're going back again.
Located along a quiet beach area. Pretty sunrise and sunset could be enjoyed. Love the plunging pool and breakfast spread. Will recommend!
The rooms are very spacious, and the pool is impeccably clean, even featuring a jacuzzi
The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport options
Guests consistently highlight how the team enhances the experience with thoughtful touches and sincere hospitality.
The highlight for many — and perhaps the highlight of your stay — is the Executive Suite
