Overall, it's pretty good and quiet. There's a songthaew right outside the door, which is super convenient. It's also very close to the Lan Po seafood market, and they even offer free breakfast from 6-10 AM!

The room is spacious and comes with several pillows. There is a large 55-inch smart TV. The water pressure is strong and the air conditioner is cold. The food selection is varied considering the price.

The hotel is clean and has good amenities, yet some of their receptionists can't communicate in English very well.

I originally booked four nights at this hotel but only stayed for two before moving to another one. The room was clean, and the environment was decent, but there was an odd smell coming from the bathroom

Great value for money, but don't expect much from the food. There are a lot of Chinese tour groups, so every morning you'll see buses checking out, and every evening buses arriving

The water pressure was unstable when showering at night. And just look at the pipe next to the toilet – I was genuinely worried it might burst at any moment

A special shout-out to the dark-skinned, big-eyed gentleman at the front desk who spoke Chinese; he was exceptionally polite and even helped me book a restaurant – thank you! On the first day of Chinese New Year, there was even a lion dance performance

The location is quite convenient, and overall it was a good stay. The breakfast at the high-rise restaurant had a fantastic ambiance and a wide variety of options, though the food quality could use a slight improvement

Direct, level access via a bridge from the hotel elevator to the MRT. The infinity pool is lovely with shaded seating areas. Pleasant pool bar, good service. Good breakfast buffet with a wide selection

We loved the location; just one MRT stop away, you're on the Chao Phraya River with either express boats or tourist boats, which offer convenient access to many attractions

Good hotel with a great pool with views. The water could be a little bit warmer. The room was spacious and had an amazing view. Would definitely come back.

Fitness: The hotel's swimming pool is my absolute favorite. Surrounded by skyscrapers, it's shaded in the morning, perfect for lounging on a chair and enjoying the breeze – that's what a holiday should feel like

Another highlight was the pool area: it was never crowded, and we could always find available sun loungers, both in the morning and evening

The room with pool view is big, and the balcony is large with a sofa for sitting. I can't recommend staying here enough

The room was a bit small, but the hotel environment was great. The pool was huge and not too crowded.

The only downside is that when you walk over the bridge to your room, you have to walk over the sewage stream. This is obviously out of the control of the resort, and does it's best to mask the sight and smell

Nice place for staying. This time I stayed for several days on Christmas time. The hotel was full of visitors. I liked their beautiful garden and the beach in this season.

The only downside (and that is the reason my rating was less-than-excellent) is that this affordability attracts loads of buses loaded with tourists from various countries and that can create a kind-of-chaos (including noise)

We had a pool access room this time which was lovely. So nice to have a quieter swim in the afternoon after the mayhem and fun of the slides etc. This was our second visit and we had a great time

We have an enjoyable stay in The Sands. This is a kids friendly hotel, my son love the water park, pool, room. Environment very nice, breakfast have a lot of choice

They could make small adjustments such as not putting all the kids plates and cutlery underneath the drinks station at breakfast creating quite a bit of congestion but obviously that’s just a small detail

Hotel is Hugh, there is a lake with fishes and birds which the fed every day for kids experience

Traveling solo, I'd really recommend this hotel. Even though the facilities are a bit old, the environment is nice and the room is very spacious. I suggest everyone book their rooms through Trip

The hotel breakfast is average; I've been to Phuket many times, and for this price range, this hotel's breakfast is the worst, though it's still edible. The hotel's environment and hygiene are good, very clean

Friendly staff with good facilities. Provides beach/pool towels for your use and conveniently located at Kata area. Don’t provide toothbrush and toothpaste but you can buy them at the 7/11 nearby

The infinity pools on the 24th and 27th floors are absolutely stunning; watching the sunset there while lounging by the pool is incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was also very rich and highly recommended

A 7-Eleven is right next door as well, which makes everything super convenient. The only small downside is that you’ll need to take a taxi to get to the beach. Other than that, everything was great

None of the TV channels are in English but you’re on vacation so you should be watching tv anyways, and almost all the staff speak perfect English (a few exceptions that are still learning English) It’s not right against Kata beach but it’s an easy walk and they offer a shuttle every day

The staff named Wee (not sure if I got the name right) was very kind and took good care of my baby. She was lovely and my baby enjoyed it so much

Gym room is well-equipped with machines. However, improvement need to be made on the housekeeping part. Our room didn’t refilled with enough towel and toothpaste. Even we made request by phone, we didn’t get new towels

We will come back again! The only small issue was there was some sand in front of the door and on the table. Even after cleaning, it still appeared, and I’m not sure where it came from

Wonderful hotel, location perfect, loads of choices of sunbeds, getting 2-3 towels and fresh water and icecream, nice nearby places to have wonderful food, staff extremely friendly, breakfast over the top (including everything one can possibly think of!)

On the day of our arrival, when we wanted to take a shower, we noticed that only one clean towel had been provided. The other towel in the bathroom was used, wet, and dirty

The hotel has three different pools and easy access to the beach. It’s also very quiet and peaceful. There was one minor issue that slightly spoiled our stay

The adult pool had good vegetation coverage, ensuring plenty of privacy. The circular children's pool was a highlight, with multiple play areas for kids

The free weight area and the machines are in two separate spaces, and there's even a fantastic ab machine! It's a dream come true for fitness enthusiasts! They also provide free bananas for a quick carb boost

The Chiang Mai Marriott is located outside the Old City, but the location is still quite good. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tha Phae Gate and Warorot Market, and about 15 minutes to Chiang Mai Gate

The hotel is right above the Chang Khlan Road night market, which has tons of street food every night. Getting around is super convenient, whether you take a tuk-tuk or a ride-hailing service

All the staff, from management down, provide excellent service, and many of them can speak basic Chinese. I would definitely choose to stay here again

The basic room size isn't small, and it definitely meets five-star hotel standards. It's not humid at all and very comfortable

**Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel

Every member of the Avani team was so warm, accommodating and caring, those smiles always light up my day. Service in all areas is more than excellent. The bar by the pool, the staff was so nice

The housekeeper did a very good job in ensuring our room’s cleanliness throughout our stay. He folded my clothes and wound my charger wire so neatly. Good job guys! We will definitely come back again

The room was just right for two people. It's in Bangkok and very clean. The location is convenient, with direct access to the MRT station. There's an authentic night market downstairs
