Walked in from street while looking for a place to dine. We chose a table on the beach. I had the catch of the day, it was sublime! The fish was so plump, fresh & cooked to perfection

The room could use a few minor upgrades here and there, but the location is really good right on Fisherman’s Village and just steps from the beach, which made it super convenient for walking around, grabbing food, and exploring

The staff were incredibly kind and the views from the room were spectacular

this is an amazing venue to bring the family definitely recommend to everyone amazing food and amazing service host is lovely and very the passionfruit honey soda is one of the best drinks ive ever had

Good hotel, delicious food and drinks, lovely pool by the sea. Don't expect anything outside the resort area; you'll need a scooter. The locks on the front doors of the villas are a nightmare, but you get used to it.

I didn't stay there as a person who was relaxed, but as someone who came for a truly pampering day. The place is simply wonderful. The pool blends in with the sea in a magical and endless way

I would like to recommended 'Baan Sala lungdam homestay'. Here, they will take care you as member of their family. You also can enjoy traditional food, fisher man village and fresh seafood!

The super nice girls who run the house are always there for any information or help. The B&B is located 1 minute walk from the fishing village, although the street and the nearby center are not very noisy

We loved our stay at Baan Sala Lung! Great location, a 5min walk to fishermen village. Includes AC, warm shower and off street parking. The staff had an upbeat attitude and are full of information (food, sites, history)

The location is excellent, with a beautiful terrace upstairs and incredible fresh air. Even when our taxi dropped us at the wrong place, she personally came to pick us up without hesitation

We loved our stay here very much. We had the Seaview Room on second floor and the view is nothing less than mindblowing. We also loved that they have free kayaks and stand-up-paddle boards.

PERFECT! Localized 200m from beach which you can reach by walk throught another resort in 5 minutes. Our apartman was clean and without any problems. Stuff cleaning room and changing tovel daily if you want

You have to walk a little to go to the beach. Maybe around 200m or bit more. We didn't find out too inconvenient though

The host is amazing! She is really helpful and friendly. The first floor is the co-working space during the daytime which is really useful. They have Filipino foods every Friday which is really tasty

Admittedly the room could have been cleaner - bed and bathroom was clean however floor needed a mop. The resort itself is very pretty with access to the beach and a decent pool. Breakfast is available but we never had it

As for the location, the hotel, both in terms of Beach road or the beach itself, for me it is the best one. Certainly I would stay there once again if the prices were similar to what I paid this time

If someone wants to snorkel, then this beach is not for you. Sun loungers on the beach are free for guests of this hotel. You need to take a taxi to the shopping center (300 baht one way)

BUT, I didn't like the beach: because of the silt at the bottom, the water is muddy, low tides in the morning (were in mid-June), very shallow, the water is hot

I stayed here for 10 days and it was awesome. It was low season so very quiet. The place I had was spacious and clean, decent bed. The staff is friendly and quick to reply on WhatsApp. I wish I could stay longer.

A really fantastic location, right on the beach and with your own beach bar and restaurant. We didn’t know what to expect of Cheong Mon and it became one of our favourite locations on the island

Facilitate guests and courteous as well. Including the chef was cooking very delicious, clean rooms and facilities for the key is to have peace, not chaos. Bang Po beach , although not comparable to Chaweng

Located in perfect spot by the chaweng beach. I didn't even moved 20 feet from the resort since everything was so close by. Rooms have tasteful decor, the pool stays open till 10 pm and staffs were very warm

Room size ok - everything available what you need. Beds are partly saggy (Not for elder people!), no noise protection, wifi ok, pool is large. The hygiene of the breakfast buffet is marginal (Don't try fruits and salad)

Nid made some of the best authentic food I had during my 3 week stay in Thailand, and Alan was so welcoming and kind to me. We even sat together an evening and had a few beers and watched Australian sports together

You can even rent a moped directly at their property for a really good price. I've seen a few low rated reviews here bashing at the dogs at the property and the cleanliness of the place

Staff too! Breakfast is great, laundry service is cheap and very fast and at first it seems a bit out of the way but get your bearings and you’ll notice it’s actually really central

**Please read this before booking** I stayed at Nid's Bungalows for a week in June 2024, and absolutely adored my stay there - probably the most memorable part of Thailand for me

Saw some negative reviews on here about bugs etc. if you’re not into those then Southeast Asia may not be for you anyway. Will be coming back here next time I come to Koh Samui

The dogs, ducks, cats and birds at the property perfectly encapsulate what life in SE Asia is like - and they are all super friendly - albeit they do bark a bit

Photos from other reviews are real, mold covered with a curtain, peeling walls, pillows like stone, a sagging mattress. But the beach is within walking distance, the room is quiet, the refrigerator works

Good location, not far from the beach and everything. Rooms are very simple, but you get what you paid for. The main issue is that the staff very rarely can be in a hotel especially in the evening

The room is clean and spacious, with air conditioning and hot water. There is a night market next to it, where you can eat seafood. The supermarket is very convenient for dining

I didn't like that at first they wanted to give me a room without air conditioning, but then they apparently changed their minds. The hotel is for 1 time no more
