Reviews
All the staff are amazing - too many to name them all but Nikki and Celio were extra helpful.
The pool is wonderful, the restaurant has great food again with amazing staff and after a few days here you feel like you’ve been on holiday for weeks.
We absolutely loved it 🥰
Apparently other people are having similar experiences. Crazy that management trows out names disregarding peoples privacy. But that’s why this is not even worth 2-stars. Like person mentioned we also felt watched by management on there many camera’s around the hotel, also employees where watched and clearly felt uncomfortable at times we spoke to them, so after all our feeling was true.
Also a lot of the positive reviews feel fake after visiting the hotel. The way management handles things they probably made a lot of the reviews theirselves.
But the best part? The staff. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for booking day trips and restaurants. They were above and beyond your average hotel reception staff.
Highly recommended
If you don’t want the big chain hotel but still want quality and the perfect setting for an island holiday experience, Blue Turtle is the one.
Its location is peaceful but still within walking distance from the hustle and bustle of central Chaweng.
The staff are all super friendly and cannot do enough for you. ❤️
Second, there is no in-room phone to contact the front desk. For any issues, we had to physically walk down to the reception, which involves going through an outdoor area without air conditioning or elevators.
Third, there were no basic amenities provided, including toothbrushes. There were no signs indicating where to get supplies or how to request them. By the time we realized this, it was already late at night, and there was no staff at the front desk.
Overall, I feel this hotel is absolutely not worth the price and should not call itself a star-rated hotel. At best, it could be considered more of a guesthouse.
It has just 20 rooms. It's very recently been refurbished to a very high standard, which, along with the fabulous staff, means it's a brilliant place to stay. The 4 and 6 person rooms are great for families, nice and spacious with amazingly comfortable beds. Fabulous pool too - it's been difficult to drag the kids away.
The restaurant is lovely too, even if you're not staying. I'm surprised it's not busier. The food and service is great. And you get a good view of the fire show at the bar next door.
We loved it so much that we left another hotel so we could return for the last 3 nights of our holiday.
