FunDee Boutique Hotel in Patong

I only had one night to spare in Phuket, but my stay at the Fun Dee Boutique Hotel turned a quick stopover into a genuinely lovely experience. It felt less like a generic hotel visit and more like stumbling upon a friendly, stylish little oasis.

Fun Dee’s location is its superpower. I loved that I could step right out and be in the heart of it all—buzzing restaurants, local shops, and the vibrant energy of Patong were literally steps away. Yet, the moment I entered the hotel, the noise faded away. That balance of being in the center of the action but feeling peaceful is hard to master, and they nailed it.

This is where Fun Dee truly shines. The team wasn’t just professional; they were warm and personally attentive. The gentleman at check-in noticed my tired-from-travel look and offered a refreshing welcome drink with a smile that felt sincerely kind. Every staff member I passed in the hall offered a friendly "sawasdee." It wasn’t robotic service; it felt like they were genuinely happy to have you there and wanted to help. That human touch makes all the difference.

My room was a delightful surprise—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and smelled wonderfully fresh. The boutique charm came through in the décor, which felt modern yet cozy. After a day out in the humid Phuket heat, coming back to a cool, immaculate room where everything just worked perfectly (the blissfully strong A/C, the reliable Wi-Fi, the powerful shower) was exactly what I needed.

For my one-night stay, Fun Dee Boutique Hotel delivered so much more than just a place to sleep. It offered convenience without chaos, style without stiffness, and service with a real smile. I left feeling refreshed and a little wishful that I’d booked a longer stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends looking for a personable and perfectly located spot in Phuket.

Everything is good except for the bed.
The bed is sunken and the springs are poking my ribs, lol.
I woke up with a sore neck and a stiff neck, lol.
I recommend getting a new bed, it's probably past its useful life, lol.

A good hotel close to everything in Patong, and the staff are very professional and respectful.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room, I decided not to extend it and moved to another one, it is clearly harmful to health to breathe it in

Amazing location, but kind of old building and they don’t provide an iron which was weird for me! There is a bar opposite of the hotel and they play loud music till early morning and there is no sound proof for the room and it makes it a bit hard of you go to sleep early

The hotel is in a good location, with a bar just outside the hotel. The hotel is also convenient for shopping, the rooms are clean, and the service is friendly. The hotel does not provide slippers, and it is close to the street, so it is a bit noisy when sleeping at night. People with poor sleep quality should choose carefully

I can only say that it was unexpectedly good for the price. My family was staying at Patong Hospital and wanted to put their luggage closer, so I didn't have high hopes. It turned out to be very good. The room was large and clean.
I would also like to say a special mention to the little girl and boy at the front desk. They were very friendly and enthusiastic. The girl at the front desk was afraid that her parents would feel hot, so she blew the floor fan towards them. This little gesture was very touching. Thank you very much!
