Kervansaray Bursa City Hotel in Bursa

No air conditioning in the rooms; dirty carpet in the room, stain on the bedsheet, unclean toilet.

This hotel looks very nice but I was really disappointed with their service. One good point about this is the location right in the city centre if that's where you want to be. We asked for an extra bed which they charged 35 euros but was just 2 mattresses Had a nightmare experience here. We checked in at about 4 pm. . Went straight out. Came back 3 hours later and bathroom was flooded and the bedroom carpet also got wet. Told the hotel guy they sent a cleaner who said it was my fault because I had a shower with the door open. But he cleaned it up with the towels that were there and left the towels in the bathroom. Went to sleep and woke up at 6 am. Bathroom was flooded again. The phone was not working so couldn't ring reception. Went down and told reception. He said hell send someone. He did same thing and left towels there. After he went I realised there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling which would suddenly start to pour out. So I went to reception again and he told me because we're checking out today he can't do anything. He said theyll send a technical support after 8 am. I asked to speak to manager and he wasn't there until 10. So when he came he said he couldn't do anything because if he gave us a discount the guy at the reception would have to pay for it because it was his fault! He took the full amount and was quite happy to accept a bad review for the hotel. Luckily we had booked another room in the same hotel so we could share their bathroom. But this did ruin our bursa trip as I had to go out wearing wet socks because of the soaked carpets! Athar. UK

I read the two other reviews of this hotel and have to wonder if we are talking about the same place. This hotel is right on the main busy street in Bursa, about a 5 minute walk from the old market square. The reception staff insisted that it was a 4-star property. It has 6 or 8 floors and a very small pool on the top deck. The staff was surly at check-in, and if we hadn't driven all day and been so doggone tired we would have walked out. But, we didn't. We ended up in a "standard" room with twin beds, pillows like rocks, and a window that looked out on the crumbling concrete facade of the building next door about 10 feet away. We checked in around 3 PM and our room was blistering hot. We tried to turn on the A/C but couldn't get it to work. When we asked the front desk about it, we were told that the A/C would not be turned on until 4 PM. The bathroom was so tiny you had to sit down on the toilet to close the door. The room was terrible, and it was one of the most expensive of our entire trip. I snapped a photo of the room as we were getting ready to check out. This is NOT a 4-star hotel room.

it was not wise of me to select this hotel.the room is very small & dark and the A/C wasnt working well, the beds are so hard . the bath room is so tiny with disgusting mold. Although the hotel has lots of rooms yet the receptionist gave us room on an alley & rudly refused to change it although the hotel was empty of residents. The breakfast was so disapointing,there was plenty of food yet it wasnt fresh & with no variety, even tea & coffee were tasteless. I don't recommend staying at this hotel.
