The room was tiny and had an overpowering perfume smell.

First time in Türkiye and stayed 4 nights here. It was a wonderful stay! Service was excellent and welcoming! They offered umbrellas to borrow on days that rained and held our bags on last day for free after checkout so we could enjoy rest of the few hours before airport outside comfortably. Complimentary tea and coffee as well.

Location to everything is great. It’s very easy & quick (within minutes) to get to all transportation (ferry, bus, train or metro) by walking. Very easy to get to European side or Uskudar and back within same day.

We chose the Economic room which was a double bed in a very small room but it was a comfortable bed. It fit our needs of having somewhere comfortable to sleep & a bathroom.

Would stay again and maybe consider upgrading to a larger room to have a bit more room to move about the room.

My room, 304, was billed as a double bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together. While that wasn't a problem, the bed by the window was tilted, making it uncomfortable and preventing deep sleep.

The next morning, I mentioned this to Staff A, who changed me to a different room (one on the second floor without an elevator). However, when I tried to enter the room that evening, Staff A, who had been there that morning, didn't remember the change. I had to call Staff B, who seemed to be the manager, and finally get the key. Again, he seemed bothered, which annoyed me. My third night was in the same room on the second floor, but this time the key didn't work, so I ended up having to ask Staff B to reset the card key. I believe Staff A made a mistake.

Thanks to the lovely smile of Staff B, who seemed to be the manager, and the very considerate Staff C, I had a pleasant stay, but Staff A's behavior left a very bad impression of this hotel. The location is great for exploring the city, but it's a shame that one staff member caused such a problem.

Best hotel I have visited!
Professional: waited for us until arrived from Canada at midnight and followed up on WhatsApp.
Timely service: once I asked for towels and toilet papers I got them immediately.
Care: I was going out at 3am and it was raining they offered an umbrella without me asking.
There is always tea and coffee in the lobby and they made it for me immediately upon request.
Prices were great for our budget and the room size was reasonable.
They kept my luggage after checking out for 7 hours and were very caring.
Offered us water bottles on our way to the airport without asking.

We would definitely come back to the same hotel next time we visit!

After having such a terrible time in my other Istanbul hotel, I decided to splurge and get a room at this hotel since it had good reviews… only to have a room that did not have a functioning a/c the first night and no one fixed it even when I complained, they only fixed it on the second day after I complained twice. The WIFI did not work AT all during my stay which meant I had to keep buying data, and they knew it didn’t work but just said “oh well.” Overall it is a great location because of how close it is to the ferry but I really expected more from a place I decided to splurge on 😣. Also I paid for the “deluxe city view” and did not get that… only a view of the ugly backside of buildings.

Amazing location, recommend if you come from Sabiha Gokcen airport as it is the best area in Asian side of Istanbul and easy access to the airport by a single metro line. Many bars a few blocks away where you can feel the local vibes of Istanbul without big tourist crowds. And good access to the city overall by close access to the pier. Hotel has one of the most comfortable beds ever and amazing staff. Great finding!

I accidentally slept in and was late to the airport. Salim at front desk really helped me calm down and arranged a taxi ride for me. Salim is very friendly and kind. Thank you for your help Salim!!

The room itself is budget-friendly, but the bathroom can be cleaner. Found hair in the bathroom prior to first use. Located in walking distance in Kadikoy.

Public transport connections were good. The rooms were outdated and very small, with hardly any space. The bathroom was very small.

We stayed for one night. The location, staff, room cleanliness and comfort were great. My score for the first night was 5. We bought another night because we were satisfied. The room I stayed in the second night was again very clean but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We woke up in the morning with back pain and stiff neck. Since this situation negatively affected our day, my score for the second day was 1. My average score for the two-night experience is 3.

Details: We checked out of room 105, where we stayed the first night, at 11:00. We were told that the room we would stay in for the second night was number 204. We were told that the room was not ready yet and that we would be notified by phone when it was ready. We spent time near the hotel to get settled in our room. We did not receive any news until 14:00. We went to the hotel because check-in time was 14:00. When we went, they said that room 204 was full and they gave us room 501. We had a very bad experience in room 501. I informed them of the situation when I checked out in the morning.

This is my second time at the Best city kadikoy Hotel. I want to say thank you to all the staff for their support and always trying to help in everything we need. A special thank you to Salim, one off the best staff hotel I ever met. Hopefully will not be my last time in Istanbul and if I'm back I know where to stay for sure.
