Taxim 34 Hotel İstanbul in Istanbul

I absolutely agree with all reviews below — both positive and negative. So I kind of have mixed feelings about this hotel. It’s conveniently located near Istiklal street. The hotel’s staff is rather friendly and accommodating. However there’s unbearably noisy as outside as inside. Bars nearby the hotel work till late night (2-3 am). Music is so loud. Sometimes drunk people fight at night. No chance to fall asleep early at all. In the early morning the housekeepers start their work like by my door. They rustle, doing somewhat chores. So after for nights staying there we were exhausted since not having enough sleep during all the time. So mind it, very important. Overall the hotel and the staff was nice except the impossibility of sleeping. In addition you’ll see here shabby walls and need some renovations meanwhile it’s not the huge problem. And yeah, you must be ready to drug your belongings to the hotel as here no way to pull up the car right to the entrance.

Hotel itself is great. Rooms are very comfy. But the location.... there is a bar right next to it and impossible to sleep until 2 3 am... I'd never choose it again
