The location was amazing because everything is near to access and the room was good but not clean it was very dusty and doesn't provide basic room things. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful.

I am not actually person who like to give review on google. But after stayed in that hotel one night, i didn’t understand why the review on google was so bad. First, this hotel offered very affordable price on good location. It is definitely very accessible to good coffee shop, restaurants, şok market and walking distance to tramvay. And their room also very clean, tidy, they offered all amenities, towels and everything by that price. I mean, for that price i was not expecting much but thats really beyond my expectations because also they upgraded my room to bigger room as they saw me check in with my 4 years old son at the night (probably the room is empty). But that was really really kind of them.

My stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, among the worst travel experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to read carefully before booking.

From the moment I entered the room, the hygiene issues were impossible to ignore. I found several small cockroaches, cockroach eggs, and even stains from dead insects on the ceiling and walls. The bedsheets and mattress had visible blood stains, and the pillows were dirty and brown. The chairs in the room were basically hollow—just cloth stretched over an empty frame. Even the inside door lock didn’t work, leaving me unable to secure the room properly.

The room itself was extremely small compared to the photos online. The basement room window would only open a finger’s width, making the space feel even more suffocating. When I raised concerns about the room size and the shocking level of uncleanliness, the dismissive response was, “It’s an economy room, what do you expect?” as if a lower price should mean accepting filth and health hazards.

Basic facilities were either missing or unusable. There was no kettle or iron in the room, and when I requested a kettle, they gave me a dirty, rusty one. The TV had no remote, no cable, and no channels. The room safe couldn’t be used because no code was provided. Even the reception area was disorganized and dirty.

Service issues were equally frustrating. On December 7th, my room card stopped working and I was locked out with all my belongings inside. Then, starting on the evening of December 8th, the water in both the toilet and shower completely stopped working. Despite reporting it, the only response I received was that “service will come tomorrow.” The issue wasn’t fixed overnight and continued well into the next day, lasting until the afternoon, meaning I spent many hours without basic water access.

On top of this, the pricing was unreliable and misleading. When I extended my stay, one staff member quoted me a certain price, but three days later I was suddenly told the price had doubled. When I questioned this huge increase, the response I received was essentially, “It’s not our problem,” with no explanation or accountability. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for any establishment.

Communication and management were also major problems. The night receptionist only spoke Russian, making it very difficult to resolve issues. To make matters worse, the reception is not even located in the same building as the listed hotel address, causing unnecessary confusion. Staff members constantly gave conflicting information, making it impossible to rely on anything they said. Their overall attitude came across as disorganized, impatient, unhygienic, and unprofessional.

Overall, this hotel failed in cleanliness, honesty, service, and basic hospitality. I cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

We arrived at midnight after the tram and public transportation were closed, the guy in the reception was very disrespectful normally as a receptionist you ask for the name on the check in and then give the details, he started asking what time did I make rezervation how much I paid what time check out even though he knows already and then he told us that our room was given to someone else andhe will give us another room but we need to pay him extra 2000 lira , I objected and told him that I won't pay extra money for something I don't ask for it's your fault for giving my room to another one, he started speaking rudely and told me that he want give me a good room with this price and tell me to stay or leave I told him I won't pay anything and it's his fault to give the room to other people not mine, After he spoke with the manager he told me to stay in the room for tonight and the night hardly passed, the ventilation was very bood and the balcony door was not opening not mentioning the dangerous stairs, this place is catastrophic and the receptionist is a disgusting person who should work in a place like reception or deal with people

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.
