Room was very small but the restaurant was amazing with super nice view of Istanbul
Me and my husband stayed for 6 days at Seres hotel in October 2025. It was our 5th stay there.
The hotel is located in a walking distance from all the most important attractions.
The staff in the hotel is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
There is a rooftop restaurant with open buffet breakfast and wonderful view of the Bosphorus.
Special thanks to restaurant staff Ali( the Manager), Turgay and...
Our five-day stay in Istanbul was wonderful.
My son uses a wheelchair, but thanks to the support of the hotel staff, we were able to spend our time comfortably.
Thank you very much.
Having breakfast at a place overlooking all of Istanbul was amazing.
But the most memorable part was the kindness of Ms. Didem and Mr. Turgay at the restaurant.
Thank you. I will never forget it.
I stayed here two years ago and decided to come back — and I’m so glad I did! Everything was just as perfect as before. The hotel is amazing, and the staff, from the reception to the restaurant, are truly wonderful.
Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be back!
Special thanks to Ali, Turgay, and Didem from the restaurant — and a big thank goes out to Mehmet, who was always there to help us whenever...
Nice hotel in the city centre, rooms are a bit small but very well kept and clean! Well arranged and tasty breakfast each morning, with a beautiful view over the bosporus en a fun seagull named Aziz that politely sits outside the window that the waiters feed sometimes.
Very good service overall, esp fron Ali, Turgay and Didem during breakfast, so many thanks to them! :)
We enjoyed our stay and definitely...
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! (4 nights)
First of all, the location is just perfect — about 10–11 minutes’ walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and around 5 minutes from Eminönü port, the seaside and the Galata Bridge
The T1 tram line is right nearby, so it’s very easy to get anywhere in the city. You can also walk across the Galata Bridge and reach the old town area on foot.
...
The hotel is quite good and conveniently located in the Oqsaroy area of Istanbul. It is not far from the main tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast is nice, and the price is quite reasonable.
Nice & new place & location with great cleaning protocol. The restaurant was good for breakfast with nice varieties. One elevator was not adequate for guests. Room size was really small but very new & modern designed. Recommended for a good stay.
We stayed from October 15, 2025. The hotel is well located - close to the metro and tram stop. Instead of the double room we were given, we were given a triple room on the second floor with a view of the wall (it seems like they all put Russians on the same floor). The room is very cramped. You can only walk sideways around the beds - the passage is very narrow. There is no table or chair. We had to...
The location was excellent. It was situated between the tram and subway lines, and there was a supermarket nearby. The area wasn't particularly unsafe, and the entire building was occupied by the hotel. It was a shame there wasn't a closet, but overall it was still a good stay.
Clean , good for come for business , lobby tea coffee nice 👍🧋
The hotel is very close to the T1 line, making it very convenient for exploring the old town and taking sunset cruises. For Taksim Square, an Uber from the Grand Bazaar costs about 50 RMB (we took the T1 to the Grand Bazaar that day, but found it less fun than we'd hoped, so we just moved around). The hotel room was very clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast included fried eggs...
I stayed at Grand Hotel Avcilar on multiple occasions whenever I visit Istanbul for work reasons. Their rooms are clean, and the staff is always present to help out. definitely recommend it. It is located really close to the public transport, which makes it easier to go around too.
They said they swimming pool but no swimming pool there
Very happy with the breakfast, lovely lady who is in charge of breakfast IREM was very kind and friendly and prepared delicious breakfast
Its a shame that the fridges in the rooms were not working in the hot weather.
Superb hotel at affordable price
Brand new spacious rooms great value for money...on the main road, safe and near to local market...courteous staff..very helpfull...breakfast was included ..
They were so so nice! I came there last like July or sm , with my mum , dad and little brother. We got the sweets on the tills everyday🤣
It’s just that we need air conditioning for the rooms. I also loved hearing the aazans every night, it was extremely relaxing💗

Amazing staff. Cleanliness on point. Nice environment and great location
I had an amazing stay at Orient Express. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. What really made the experience special was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Feyyaz and Eren. They were always friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks to them, I truly felt welcome and taken care of. I would definitely recommend...
Very friendly, professional and informative staff. Clean and comfortable hotel in a very safe and centrally located. The spa is open till 9 pm and it is well worth it and offers Hamam massage for an extra cost. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant with amazing views. Had a great time and would highly recommend.
It was great, the location is amazing 👌🏻
Everything was fine. On the first day the room was not ready(?), they put us in a neighboring more expensive hotel.
Good location and service.
A little noise from the tram but good location and very good service
I will give 3*and 1/2. Good hotel .hearty breakfast. Everything is close by. Good stay. But at night the disco next door bothers a little but it depends on the side of the room
Good location . problem of disco you can't sleep if you take the floor 1 to 3. very small room but enough.
The rooms in the old lodge are mediocre by those of the new are correct, and a thousand times better
The new ones are just next to the reception
Good stay
It was a nice place, and very nice people mentioning specially Emir and Ibrahim in the reception, but also others to whom I don’t remember the name, room cleaning, restaurant and reception. The hotel is centrally located in Istanbul and it’s close to the M7 metro line, where you can reach the main airport and most places of interest in Istanbul.
Recommendable!
We had an extraordinary experience throughout our entire stay. The hotel is clean, quiet, and very well organized. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and always spotless, and the facilities are exactly what you need for a perfect vacation.
A big thank you to Emir and Ibrahim for their kindness, promptness, and all the support they offered. They made our stay even more pleasant.
Highly recommended...
It's a good hotel, the prices aren't too bad, the staff is helpful, if we had any questions, we approached one of the administrators (in our case, Kerim) and everything was resolved without any problems. I definitely recommend it.
Very good hotel in many aspects. But Azan sound was being heard so loudly in the room that every morning my sleep was completely ruined. Breakfast was good for the price but it is expected that every day there would be some kind of omelette or scrambled eggs served, but last day of my stay, there was only boiled eggs. Staff were really nice.
I had a truly wonderful stay! The hotel’s location is perfect, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The breakfast was rich and delicious. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend this place. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
My husband and I were on a cruise when I had a medical emergency and was hospitalized in Memorial Hospital in Istanbul. My husband needed a local hotel to stay at and was recommended this hotel by the hospital. The experience was fantastic for him. They directed him to a local money exchange. They had an arrangement with a local restaurant where the front desk could order for you and the food would...
Review of Barin Hotel, Istanbul
My stay at this hotel left a very good impression. The room was clean and comfortable, everything was neat and tidy. Cleaning was done efficiently, and I had no complaints about the cleanliness.
The location is convenient, with public transportation, shops, and cafes nearby, making it especially convenient for tourists. After a busy day in the city, the hotel felt...
The room was clean, the hotel position was near to metro (good position in Fatih)
The staff was professional, everything was ok for me on my 4 night at this hôtel.
We liked everything. For spending the night and walking around the city all day, it's just great.
Very correct everything we had already been
I enjoyed great service and very good breakfast friendly staff
Booked the Barin hotel for me and my 15 year old son during a 2 day shopping trip. Excellent location. Very clean. Room a little small but everything was like new. Breakfast is good also. I would definitely stay here again for a short trip. Thank you .

A huge thank you to Eka for the amazing Balinese massage today. She has such a peaceful energy and incredible hands. It was the highlight of my week! If you want a top-tier massage, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!"
Amazing breakfast from the chef. To be honest I love my breakfast and I’m from Australia and it had many choices to chose from. GR AT WORK CHEF! 10/10
Stayed for 3 days, fantastic rooms, quite spacious with a view. Comfortable settings and a great breakfast menu with a lot of options.
Everything was great, I enjoyed the entire stay.
The room was spacious and the service was excellent! The breakfast, in particular, was very good!
This hotel is very friendly , the most thing i like the staff and the flexibility to make you happy during your stay
I hope in the future to stay again at this hotel
Located right next to the metro station, it’s very convenient to get anywhere, and the price is reasonable for the budget. I did experience some leakage issues in the bathroom, but the management fixed them promptly and even upgraded my room.
Beyond the cleanliness, the hotel and rooms were poorly maintained. If the necessary care and attention were paid, ***et would be a nice hotel. The kitchen was very lacking in flavor, and the staff was inadequate. We asked for water, but it arrived after about an hour. ***et is well located, right next to the metro station.
Comfortable rooms, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. We especially appreciated the smiling and helpful staff, as well as the convenient free parking right on site
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The free valet service and parking were a huge bonus, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps from everything
It was very good location and very good staffs. Helping for everyting. Thank you so much. Will come back again
Rooms a little bit small and prepare Turkish translation as some staff could not speak English. Apart from it everything is fin
Good hospitality, nice room, near from supermarket
Good hospitality, nice room, near from supermarket
The service was excellent and the price was reasonable. It was very close to the bus stop from the airport, so it was a safe and comfortable stay even though it was my first visit to Turkey!
The sheets were damp and disgusting, so they were changed. The TV was broken and unusable. There was no refrigerator, so they brought one from another room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator doors kept opening and closing until late at night. At 3 a.m., loud conversations suddenly started from the triple room next door, preventing me from sleeping. It was because we were packing while...
It was located near to harbor. Facilities are kinda old but okay for low budget

Very nice gays at the reception in night
Veryyy good breakfastttt!!!!!!! Staff kindly understand everything we want!!!
In one word, "budget" hotel. Negative features; The rooms are old, the bathroom is bad, the cleaning is insufficient. The towels used in the room are old. There are no hygiene sets that should be in the bathroom. Positive features; The location is good, very close to the main street, there are markets everywhere.
The air conditioning in the room doesn’t blow cold air and there were no fans as alternative even though advertised on hotel website

Mediocre hotel. Rooms are outdated and needs refurbishment. Basic breakfast. Only good thing is location situated in Lailele near to Sultanahmet. Tram and metro stations are very near which is the best thing.
Everything is great, clean, and cozy. Also, the most important thing is that the toilet and bathroom are very clean, and the towels are clean. I would also recommend adding a Tefal kettle for boiling water, tea, and sugar. Everything else is great.
Amazing location, very close to T1 tram and Veznecilar metro.
Staff are super friendly and the cleanliness is on point.
It’s a modest room, but you can’t beat the value for money. 👍
The staff is very friendly, they gave us a large, cozy room, cleanliness is a plus, breakfast is not an omelet, but you will not go hungry, there is no kettle in the rooms for tea, coffee, they will not give you water, you can drink them in the hotel restaurant, I recommend and will return,
Good location. Clean room. Quiet.
Close to the metro. The room is quite suitable for one person.
The location is good, very close to the subway station, and all major scenic spots are nearby. The only thing is that the facilities are a bit old...otherwise it's pretty good!
Cleaning staffs were very polite and helpful.
Reception helped me for early check in. Restaurant staff were helpful and they were checking breakfast buffet most of the time.
I didnt have any issues. It was a good one day staying.
The bed is spacious and comfortable.
Compared to hotels in Japan, the cleaning is not perfect, but it's not a problem.
There are many restaurants within walking distance, so it is convenient.
If you're staying for sightseeing, I think other hotels would be better.
Our stay was wonderful. Staff members were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great!
Porters husse for tips. Tipd are earned not huddled. If they focus on customer service, they ear tips. I tipoed only one guy because he was focused on helping me.
The room was clean, tidy, and elegant. The staff was attentive. It's a quality hotel that I always stay at with confidence.
The staff here are helpful & caring, whilst the property itself is clean and pleasant.
The food here is good & plentiful whilst the shops and busier areas are only a short walk away.
Overall a great place to stay.
The only good thing about the hotel was the location and the view of the Bosphorus from the window; everything else was terrible. The staff was completely unfriendly, they couldn't care less about the guests, and no one in the dining room even said hello. There were few clean dishes, and you had to wait for them to be brought, even though the hotel was sparsely populated. The hotel was old and hadn...
Property is good but not sound or off as there was so much noise when sleeping. But overall nice
Clean rooms, friendly staff, only drawback is that breakfast which is the same everyday and not fresh.
Good quality for 3 star hotel. Breakfast is very good, rooms are spacious, stuff are friendly and cooperative, and the location is perfect for transportation or for walking around the city.
Extremely kind staff. My friend and I traveled from America and spoke limited Turkish, but everyone was so kind and accommodating. Good breakfast and clean safe hotel. The rooms are small and simple but very pleasant. Couldn’t ask for more. We would come back!
We come to this hotel 2-3 times a year and we have always felt excellent. We recommend staying here for the facilities offered, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the variety of menus at breakfast. LUCY & MARIUS
Amazing hotel. Our room and hosts were very nice, and it’s in a great location for a very fair price. Would recommend for anyone traveling to Istanbul for a weekend. Free and great breakfast too!
Amazing stay for 8 nights. Wonderful location near Sultanahmet and brilliant customer service from the team, who helped us at every turn. Thank you!
It's a super hotel. Perfect location and peoples working there were so kind. SALIH at the reception was so helpfull and so friendly.! Thank you for everything🙏
I had a standard double which as a solo traveler thought it was fine. But even for 1 person it was small. I wouldn’t call this a 4 star. Everything about this was very average. The only positive was the location. It’s in the centre of everywhere so amazing location. The breakfast buffet was not good. No juice? And I can after 9 one day and they ran out of eggs.. also when it gets busy there’s no where...
My family really enjoyed staying at Raymond Hotel.
Kind staff and ready to help us with any questions we had. We definitely recommend it also very helpful breakfast 😋😊
We had very good experience stayed in Raymond blue hotel. staff was very helpful.breakfast was very good with different variety every day. Everyday rooms were clean and nice. Very good location.
cannot cooperate with cancellations or date changes if there is a national threat such as a national war.
The location is fantastic! The surrounding attractions alone are enough for two days of deep exploration. It's especially convenient that the T1 tram station is so close, making it easy to get anywhere. However, the rooms are a bit cramped for families with more than three people. Overall, it was a good stay.

Nice hotel with good service. The room was clean, spacious, and super comfy. Staff were polite and quick to help. Good location and easy to get around, but getting to the airport is a pain. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Little small room, but very good place. Also breakfast cool
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the Asian side of Istanbul. It's close to all the buses that go to Kadikoy, which is the final stop. Even if you don't know how to get back to the hotel, you can just say 'Kadikoy Port' and they'll show you which bus to take. The metro is nearby, and most importantly, there's a Havaist stop where the bus from the New Airport arrives, and another stop close...
Great location and facilities! The sea view from the window was amazing. Having breakfast while enjoying that wonderful sea view was also a highlight.
Kadıköy rıhtımda ana cadde üzerinde bulunan güzel bir otel. Burada kaldığınızda harika Boğaz manzarasına karşı kahvaltı yapma şanısnız olur. Odalar küçük, personel samimi ve yardımsever. Her türlü ihtiyaca yürüme mesafesinde. Ulaşım çok kola
The room was very quiet, and the rooftop restaurant was amazing. The only downside was the lack of an outlet next to the bed.
Stayed with my friend. The owner of hotel was so kind to us, each request was completed. He advised us the sightseeing tour where we had a good time. Breakfast was so delicious. His mom's strawberry jam stole our hearts. My recommendations 😍
My flight arrived quite late, so by the time I reached the hotel it was almost midnight. However, I noticed the front desk staff even came out to the entrance, waiting. A kind gentleman then escorted me to the elevator. When I got to my room, I saw the windows were already open for ventilation, and the room itself was clean and tidy. I really have to mention the breakfast – it was incredibly varied...

The staff was great, helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and large, and we loved the jacuzzi and private garden. If we were to stay in Istanbul for a longer period in the future, our choice is clear.
I’ve made a reservation for a friend and the customer service was very helpful all the way until he left. They have a pick up from the airport service which made things easier. I highly recommend.
The hotel was really clean, and the staff were super nice and welcoming. When we arrived, they gave us water, which was such a nice gesture. The room felt cozy, and the mattress was so comfortable—I slept really well. I honestly had a great stay and would definitely come back.
The staff was very friendly, check in super fast. For that price i would recommend it to other travellers.
Room was very facilitated, staff on the reception were enough cooperative, stay was very comfortable. Transfer to airport was very easy on normal expenses
Room was ok, but no any tooth brushes and toothpaste… also thing which really disappointed me they was trying to charge me twice for the transfer from airport, before always if I book airport area hotel transfer is for free, but this hotel asked me for 20€ for the transfer, so I recommend hotel people stop to do this… otherwise you will get more and more negative feedbacks
A very nice, intimate hotel, with good breakfasts included and a wonderful receptionist who speaks Russian! The only issue was that room 506 had a draft coming through the window cracks, making it chilly at night. Also, the neighbors in the next room were talking loudly, so you could hear them clearly. The location is very convenient for the metro.
We stayed here in February and loved it. The hotel is located in the historic part of the city, in a conservative but very atmospheric area with bazaars and mosques.
The room was very cozy and cleaned daily. Water was left daily for all guests. There's air conditioning (we used it as a heater in February – the room warmed up quickly, making it very comfortable).

Excellent hotel, very satisfied, we recommend!!!
The hotel is well located in Laleli. Transportation is nearby – tram and metro. Food options are also nearby, including Uzbek and Turkish cuisine. The hotel staff is welcoming, and the lobby always smells pleasant. A huge thank you to Elvin, the receptionist. The rooms are small and cleaned daily, though I wish they were a little more thorough. Breakfast is filling, with boiled eggs instead of scrambled...
Great location with nice staff
For its category and price, this is an excellent hotel. The hotel front desk staff are excellent! Both extremely helpful and courteous! Definitely will stay there again!
It's a hotel where I stayed few days ago, and I really liked the way the owners have taken care of me and my family. Really nice people, they helped us find place to visit. Really, my trip to Istanbul was great with those people. Thank you yoo much
Extremely cozy hotel and incredibly hospitable staff. We stayed here for 5 days and were very satisfied. The location is not far from the sea, tram lines and main attractions. A little bit high, but Istanbul is all about descents and ascents. The price fully corresponds to the quality. Quiet area and very caring owners who are always ready to help. We recommend this hotel, you will definitely be satisfied
myself and my partner Jamshid stayed for 1 week at the hotel. The staff were amazing and supportive. The room was very nice with enough options for breakfast. We really liked the location as it was walking distance to everywhere you could possibly want to visit on your vacation. Also walking distance to kabatas tram and port. We cannot thank the staff enough for msking our stay enjoyable.
It's a cozy little hotel in a great location. Literally, 7 minutes away from t1 (tourist tram). The rooms are clean but need some renovation. You might experience nighttime noise due to the nearby dark store, with delivery riders on scooters coming and going. However, it's still quieter than other streets in the area. Breakfasts are adequate, offering meat, vegetables, eggs, and plenty of sweet options...
I went here with my family and it was so good, even though it was cold, I had a great time. The room was very clean, the staff were very nice and the view is incredible. Recommend this to someone!
Perfect position as is situated 5 minutes away from the tram that goes to the other par where there are the major attractions : Gran Bazar and Blue Mosque..Cistern..
The hotel is very clean and very nice common living room area.
I liked a lot also the breakfast dining area. The breakfast was ok.
They have a wonderful view in the night from the rooftop.
There is a very good and honest hair dresser...
