Hotel Sen Palas in Istanbul

This is the worst & disgusting place that i have ever been. The room, bedrooms and toilette was so dirty, smelly, funky and damp.i didn't believe No bathroom at all. No warm watter. Blanket and towels never washed. No condition air, heater. The staff so impolitely replied me when i complain about this things. This isn't hotel at all. It is like i sleep outside in the street. Coz i paid the money, i couldn't cancel the reservation. I share the real picture.

Out of my genuine concern, please, do yourself a favor, steer clear of this hotel no matter how cheap the rate they offer! Big chances are your booking can be cancelled at any minute, most likely at the time when you arrive, without giving you any prior notice! A guy at the reception was especially rude and undoubtedly an uncivilized savage! Obviously, the hotel was overbooked but to save face, he jumped into a tirade of accusation by scolding me for cancelling the booking myself in order to conveniently stay clear of the blame. Yet, when asked for evidence of my so called "self-cancellation", he got defensive, going ballistic and making a scene right in front of everyone by berating me as if I were the one who caused him troubles! Seriously, I really have no idea how to rate this hotel, in fact, I am not even sure if this hellhole deserves to be a hotel. However, I have to rate it at least one star, that pathetic one star, so I can bring this insight to alert any potential guests who were considering a stay at this hotel.

Hard to find the place, not really clean rooms (found someone's hairs in the bed!), staff not good in English, situated within a building with flats, room had the view to another window, in the corner...

Avoid this place. When trying to do the check-in, the guy in reception told us the booking had been cancelled due to a "card problem", and they did not contact us prior to our arrival at the hotel. He was agressive, rude and unprofessional. Needless to say you should book another hotel.

the radiator is cold the air conditioner's broken the zero disgusting breakfast hotel service is terrible. slept better in the park

Dark jeans are ideal to stay for the night though I wrote a bad note I'm dropping the spirit of hospitality, clean rooms handicap rooms one of the first times-star hotels we lodge in

The only positive about this hotel is location. Everything else was terrible. I was with two other people, they were in a room on the top floor, I was on second floor. There was a constant noise from somewhere near the room which was like door bell ring, probably coming out of some sort of a generator. Opening the windows to get some fresh air made it worse as the air outside was dirty and I had no view, just walls, bricks, airc-conditioners and other noisy machines working. I could not sleep neither the first night, nor the second because of those noises. The bathroom was terrible. The toilet would not flush, the shower would not stand and fit into the attachment on the wall. Instead of shampoo, I got a liquid which is usually used for washing dishes. And finally, breakfast. Disgusting! They might have prepared it the night before, because it was never fresh. It was wrapped in stretch paper to preserve it from deteriorating: two tiny slices of salami, to small pieces of yellow cheese, two slices of tomatoes, two slices of cucumbers, two pats of butter, one piece of jam, all these carefully wrapped the night before breakfast, and left at tables for the guests in the morning. Disgusting. I will never, never come back here, and please beware. I hope I could help you avoid this flophouse.

I am being so objective writing this guys, believe me.
Personal tries to cheat you once they figure out you're foreigner, they try to trick you saying that dollar's value changed that's why u should pay more then what is written on your reservation.

Toilet is so dirty like it hasn't been cleaned for years.. hair everywhere.. pillow is dirty guys we couldn't use it..

Rooms are smaller then dorms.. in a random way equipped..

İ also think this building is so old that it can fall down at any moment.. any movement in the other rooms makes all the floor shakes as if it was an earthquake..

The most disgusting and horrible hotels I have ever been to! very dirty, noting is clean within that hotel. I had to run out of there for the health of my family. they lied, they showed me photos of nice room but was given a room that is barely enough for the bed, I could't even move inside the room!
