Harmony Hotel Istanbul & Spa in Istanbul

This is absolutely not a hotel. The reality here is completely different from what was shown online. I feel deceived and misled. For the price being charged, the standards are unacceptable. The rooms are extremely small, lacking even the most basic necessities such as liquid hand wash, trash bins, and paper towels. The coffee machine is filthy and has visible buildup. Despite repeatedly requesting a cancellation or refund from the manager, I have been denied every time—even after offering to pay half price just to leave. Being charged over £800 for cancellation is outrageous.
I am here with my children and have even been separated from them, which is unacceptable. The facilities are also misrepresented: there is no pool, the so-called “balcony” is nothing more than a window, and the spa area is poorly ventilated to the point it feels suffocating. On top of that, they provide a single tiny bottle of shampoo (less than 100ml) for a multi-day stay, which is completely insufficient. The manager is extremely strict, unaccommodating, and dismissive of customer concerns. This is not a hotel—it is a cramped lodging house misrepresented as one.

There was a lot of dust in this room, reception staff very rude not happy to help breakfast the staff looked like they had enough and not friendly at all at this hotel also I had thing stolen from the room which management was bothered at all I’d never recommend staying here, free toothpaste and brush packs in place but nothing in 3 of the boxes, no ironing board at this hotel jst really poor service wouldn’t recommend

Really disappointing. Misrepresented online as a spa hotel. Spa was closed and we were told the price did not include spa, contrary to the advertising. Room was tiny for 3 and they have a rule - one key per room not per guest! Breakfast covered in wasps! Only good thing was location near the blue mosque. Don't fall for the advertising.

This is not a hotel – it is a lodging house, and a very poor one at that. The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the reality: the property is depressing, underwhelming, and filled with hygiene issues. Stains, a filthy coffee machine with visible buildup, no basic shower necessities, and even a lack of trash cans make it clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. The rooms are unreasonably small, leaving barely enough space to open a suitcase. I was even separated from my children, and despite explaining the situation, the manager refused to allow a cancellation or refund. Instead, I was told it would cost over £800 just to cancel (subject to approval) which is outrageous. The management is inflexible and unsympathetic. The so-called “balcony” is nothing more than a window. The terrace, which staff claimed was open 24/7, is in fact closed by 10 p.m., with lights turned off and access denied. The underground spa is poorly ventilated to the point of being suffocating, making it impossible to relax. Noise is constant, with no soundproofing between rooms, and to make matters worse, the property sits on a steep hill, adding further inconvenience. This establishment is a complete disappointment. It is misrepresented, overpriced, and managed without care or decency. I strongly urge others to avoid this place at all costs
