Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. And I've stayed in pretty bad hotels. The staff didn't have basic respect for their clients, and the rooms didn't have necessities like toilet paper. The towels were wet as If the previous person had used them, the rooms were dirty and small, unlike the pictures which was very misleading, the doors didn't lock or even close properly so the roommate has to share the bathroom smells with you, there was absolutely no service and the staff refused to help in any way apart from calling you a taxi. I witnessed about 4 other people arguing with the owner in the 2 nights I stayed and nobody else seemed to be happy with it. If you want to come to this hotel then suit yourself. The price of the hotel does not balance out the inconvenience you'll have to face. I would not wish this bad experience upon anyone.
Thank you.

Worst hotel in the world! I would rather sleep outside in the streets than step my fot in there. Rude staff that threaten us with violonce (and we were girls) & kicked all our stuff out of our rooms just because we asked for extra toilet paper. Horrible people that don’t belive in God, pure demonic Hotel. Please don’t book or stay here, a whole nightmare & imma need some therapy after this. I would not wish this on my worst enemy, it should be closed down. Bunch of bullies! After you pay for the service, don’t expect any from these thieves. At every request they will roll their eyes as if you didn’t just pay theam. God will deal with you.

This hotel (if you can call it that) doesnt even deserve half a star.
I was nervous to book this place at first as it rated 3.3 (which was below average for most hotels in the area) but decided to give it a go anyway (the pictures look nice on booking.com, with very good location).
The morning of our stay, I saw that the rating has dropped to 2.4 with bad reviews all around with rude staff members, dirty rooms, bugs etc featuring prominently in these reviews.
True enough, this was the worst ever reception I've ever received. Extremely rude. Not a smile on his face. We asked questions (which I thought were innocent) - such as "which floor is our room on?", "is there a lift?" and got told off saying "dont ask me, all info were given when you made a booking''. He also asked me (as I am the person named in the booking) to tell my dad off and stop asking him questions - right in front of my dad (who's a lovely person just trying to be friendly and strike a conversation).

Not a great start to our Istanbul trip.
We immediately walked around to find another place to stay (and fortunately found another place just down the road - slightly more pricey but much better).
Needless to say, Abella didnt see a penny of my money that day. Just before we left, the rude reception guy said ''If you dont stay, we will charge your credit card'' - yeah go ahead, we'd much rather stay somewhere else.

Also, I found out that some of the pictures advertised on booking.com (specifically of a dining area on a terrace with great views of the blue mosque) is actually a picture from a nearby restaurant. Their actual dining area is in a dark, dingy basement.
Makes you wonder if the rest of the pictures are also fake.

To the hotel management, you really need to consider training your staff (especially the reception guy) in customer service as this is no way to treat a guest.

The staff was friendly but the room was small and dirty. The bed cover had spot on it. There were no sandals, we asked two times but they payed no attention. There was a mini fridge in the room which was dirty inside. The towels were old. The breakfast was the same for all three days that we were there. But the location was great near to all tourist attractions. We asked them a taxi for airport and they asked for 300 lira, we said no and we arranged a taxi ourselves for 200.

The only thing to recommend is the location
Anything else is a disaster.
The staff is super rude, they are shouting on us.
They don't clean the room, they only make the bed.
The room has bugs too, when we showed them they said thats normal.
The mattress is NOT comfortable and you feel the springs on your body. The fridge is not working.
They don't change the towels ( they said that they change it only every 3 days but it was my 4th day with the same towels)
When we asked them kindly they became angry and shouted on us.
Also, the breakfast is so poor, not like the picture ( nothing like the picture at all)
I DON'T RECOMMEND IT for any one
The worst hotel I have visited EVER.

The only advantage of the hotel - walking distance to the historical center of Istanbul. What little room there is no problem. However in order to just to spend a half hour to relax in the room will need to undress to underclothes, as due to the size of the rooms even have nowhere to put coats. The room was not. Mini fridge was not working, because the cord didn't reach the nearest outlet. Even the lemon was covered with mold on the third day in a refrigerator!!! The shower worked fine. Hot water and pressure was present. The safe in the room. Wear had all along. One person from the staff was constantly engaged in tablet PC or talking on the phone. If his change - will not achieve anything worthwhile. Tea in the evening on their terrace and drinking. No tea in the hotel except for Breakfast. So welcome in the nearby cafes on the sidewalk. Maid service good. Breakfast OK. All objectively. But last year was in the neighbouring hotel, there is more human service and basic comfort. Maybe so, and a few crumpled feeling of accommodation in Abella.

My sister and her friends reserved for a week and once there they were said there's no room avaiable so they took them to an apartment near by the hotel for two days where there's no wifi and the service is very poor. After that they were chased from the apartment early in the morning and were asked to wait in the lobby until noon so one of the rooms would be avaiable, when I tried to speak with them on the phone for more clairification and to ask them if, at least, it's possible to leave the luggage somewhere in the hotel so they could go out instead of wasting time, they were rude, they said that it's not possible, there's nothing they can do about it and they hung up on my face even if I was very polite and calm.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

Best 7 days in Istanbul, thanks to 1207 hotel.
