I stayed at this hotel for 1 night and was very satisfied. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean with a good smell, the bed was comfortable, good sound insulation. The airport bus to Istanbul Airport stops just about 5 meters from the hotel.

We stayed at Point Hotel Taksim for a weed and it was a great experience. The location was perfect. Taksim, metro and İstiklal were really close so it was easy to move around but still the rooms were quiet.
The rooms were clean and the view was amazing. We could see the Bosporus from our window. The breakfast was really delicious and rich. It was served on the roof top so we would see the city and the sea.
And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A clean and well-maintained hotel with excellent convenience, especially if you arrive by the airport bus, as it drops you off right at the entrance. Please note that there are about 15 steps from the street to the hotel door, so you may need assistance with your luggage, which can cause a slight delay.
The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. With a bit more maintenance, the hotel’s age would be less noticeable. The breakfast offers good variety, and the view from the ninth floor is truly impressive.
It was cold during our stay, and the room’s air conditioning wasn’t working. We called several times, and although it took almost two hours, a technician eventually identified and resolved the issue.
Overall, considering its location and easy access, this hotel is definitely recommended.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Clean and large rooms. Pool, sauna and fitness facilities were added value. Even has a great sushi bar.

The location was excellent with much shopping nearby and only 6 blocks from the ishtiklel street shopping. The staff was very friendly and very polite and helpful. The bar or second floor lounge area is excellent for a cocktail or two in the evening. Our bartender was beyond polite and we enjoyed having drinks from him! We plan to return in the future with family! With so many nice hotels in the area, we have definitely found where we will return to on our next Istanbul vacation!

Great location! Overall, it's ok, although the breakfast was a bit weak, and housekeeping was a bit spotty at times. But other than that, it's a very nice hotel and view. The doorman, a man, was very helpful with our suitcases when we checked out; we almost missed the bus, and didn't have time to thank him...

Although the facilities are a bit old, the hygiene is good. The location is first-class, and the airport bus station is only one minute away. The breakfast variety is also quite rich, recommended~

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
