Hotel Daphne - Special Class in Istanbul

AVOID THIS HOTEL, THEY STEAL THINGS HERE and DO NOT CLEAN THE ROOMS

The hotel does not correspond to the declared level of service and photos.

We booked a deluxe room with a balcony, in fact, upon check-in they said that they do not have balconies and instead of a double deluxe room, we were accommodated in a triple room of a lower level, which does not correspond to the money paid.

In fact, there is no air conditioning, because the air conditioner does not cool and makes noise like a helicopter taking off, which will not allow you to sleep.

Poor quality cleaning - towels smell of sweat, the mirror and floor are dirty, in dust.

After cleaning, our things were stolen from the room, when I contacted the administrator four times, they talked to me like I was crazy, there were no apologies, there was no clarification of the circumstances.

Breakfasts are very meager and monotonous, the only fruit offered is watermelon, and it is green, uneaten food is processed and presented the next day as "fresh".

The location right next to the mosque will not allow you to get enough sleep or park your car or taxi.

The staff is rude, does not say hello, communicates through clenched teeth, does not willingly answer simple questions and requests, the maids are dishonest, do not offer help with lifting luggage or ordering a taxi, or how to get to the bus stop, etc.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone if you do not want to ruin your vacation and have your things stolen, there are many other more decent hotels for less money.

I recently stayed at Daphne Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. First, the staff were neither friendly nor helpful, which really affected the overall atmosphere of the hotel. My room was uncomfortably cold due to a broken air conditioner, and to make matters worse, there was no hot water available during my stay.

On top of this, we mistakenly left one of our room cards in the room. When we returned, the card was missing, and after speaking with the cleaning lady who was just entering our room, we strongly suspect she took it. To our surprise, we were later charged 100 euros for the lost card. This feels completely unfair and unprofessional, as we believe the card was taken during the cleaning process.

Apart from these issues, the hotel itself is decent with a good location, but unfortunately, these problems overshadowed the experience. I would not recommend staying here unless the management addresses these concerns and improves their customer service.
